Thanks for your wonderful Video. I have just finished restoring a Hartley that I purchased to do just this trip. Your video is inspiring and informative.

Really good video. Thanks for sharing. What size outboard did you use? Looks like a Yamaha9.9hp?

Great little clip, I’m in the early stages of planning a shorter trip from Mildura to the mouth (or Wellington if the weather is unfavourable). We’ll be in a slightly smaller boat, moving slightly quicker, and likely swagging on the bank.
Any tips for where you found it easy to acquire fuel? At the moment I’m thinking Overland Corner, Morook, Mannum, and Murray Bridge.
Is the gangplank a repurposed motorcycle loading ramp? Looks like it got quite a bit of use.

Yes the ramp is a motorbike loading ramp . We bought the 2 books " Murray River Pilot " and "Murray River Pilot " they have lots of info including fuel stops .

buy the murray river charts book. it's the far superior one. also if you can make overland corner before refuelling you will only need to stop once. that's 450kms without refuelling.

Just add custom house and Wentworth to your petrol list . Yes ramp is a motorbike loading ramp .
