- In this video take a trip in an historic Paddlesteamer in Echuca, stay in a luxury Golf resort in Echuca and finally enjoy the picturesque township of Cohuna. All a short distance from Melbourne.
Is there a way to prevent being ripped off by some unscrupulous caravan repair companies? Sometimes it is just a matter of thinking it through what has to be achieved in the repair.
Also, make as much research on the service provider's reviews on Google.

20 years ago the PS Adelaide was in Swan Hill getting restored when i saw her a beautiful paddle wheeler , gee shes all done back in the water fantastic 👍bloody big credit to the folks that restored her 👏
I agree David, well done by those guys
Hi Paul, loved your early morning shots, paddle steamer, & of course the getting the lady out of the muddied mess she was in. Also the breakdown of the costs. Thank you Elaine from Brisbane.
Glad you enjoyed it
❤❤❤
Another lovely Ep,
Show us the towns Paul!
Loved it when the Scotts were playing the bagpipes...I didn't see the single malt anywhere?
You're right Ben, I forgot to put in the map!
Great to see you in my part of the world, that’s a beautiful steam engine in the Adelaide , glad you enjoyed the trip, apart from that thief in shepparton 😬. Outstanding video
Many thanks!
not really a tip on who you could drop into to fix a fault, but just an experience on the road i'd like to share... travelling south from Mackay , i blew an alternator belt, a few hundred metres from a farm gate. I had a chat with the farmer, he provided me with a ladies stocking, showed me how to fit it as a temporary fix until i got to the next town. moments like this embrace the true Aussie spirit, of helping a mate, not ripping a stranger off
Yes, I love the creativity of country folk with a solution and their willingness to help others
Love the music you chose for the paddle steamer segment.
Thanks Deb
Great video. I think your database idea is an excellent idea. Good on you for calling unscrupulousness operators out. Many people travel on a tight budget; it is awful to be taken advantage of in this way. Same thing happened to me once with Google maps, no where near where I wanted to go.
Well said!
Hope you had a beer or meal at the Leitchville Pub, if you didn’t you missed out big time. Great service, beer and food and owners. 🤔🍻
Best yet, Bravo Paul
Thank you George, I appreciate your comment
Hey, loved the video, the person in the steam display was one of the many blokes that trained me up to get my tickets, I was the one of the green traction engine with the blue shirt and blue cap that blew the whistle for you as I went past, the other bloke on the engine for me was also another person that taught me a lot too, he actually owned the engine and I was super grateful I got to come out and play steam engines
Thanks for your input
Sounds like a great idea to make a list of repair places to visit
If you have any suggestions, that would be great
Awesome episode 😊 Thanks legend for sharing & showing these beautiful places 😊 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
just a quick comment, 3 minutes in, Google maps may not be 100 percent perfect, but by crikey, it will get you where you want to go, albeit via some interesting routes. testimony is my trip through Germany few years back, definitely avoided tolls as requested and google managed to steer us off the conventional tourist tracks, which resulted in a memorable trip. Frank
Yes, you're right. Google maps generally gets me there in the enf
In Victoria in the middle of winter, mate put some pants on 🤭😃😆😂🤣🤗🥰🙌🙏💚💚💚 Great video🎉 Stay Beautiful 🌻
Great video buddy and yer your cousins are everywhere their around this country mate 👍and a $100 to reset a computer 😮get a car that doesn't have a computer that's rediclus mate
Hey David, $100 is cheap considering he had the knowledge to fix it. The guy in Echuca without specialist computer equipment quoted me between 1 and 8.5 hours to locate the issue, so that could have cost over $1,000
I was disappointed you were treated that way at Shepparton..Come back again sometime we are not all thieves lol.
Don't worry Peter, they exist but yes, Shepparton looks lovely 👌
Maps 😂
