The best cover of this song ever. A great guy and a great musician. I was lucky enough to see him live in Lugano, Switzerland and in Milan, Italy. RIP Jeff, I still have chills when I hear your songs and that's why you'll remain alive forever.
Still amazes me how he could make the guitar scream like this and so fast the way he plays and bend those notes !! Man is the a legend forever! Best version of While my guitar gently weeps 😎🤙
There are only two guys that have moved me to just burst into tears at a concert with their playing. One was Jeff Healey and the other was Gary Moore. RIP both you amazing guys!
This is the only rendition of this song, where the guitar actually weeps. And only one man can make it do that - Jeff Healey. One of the greatest guitar players ever. And the man did this without the gift of sight. What a legend! May he rest in peace.
I'm in my 50's and been listening to him for years & sad to say never seen him live so jealous of you. Hope you had the best time ever. R.I.P JEFF HEALEY 🎸⚰🇭🇲
Wow Mr Jeff healey sorry the years I've wasted 😢 .I'm catching up on your amazing talent .in the last couple years .started to look into films I was watching as a kid .roadhouse being one of many .so ,so happy started to watch them again you brought me so much happiness throughout a really terrible time in my life .
I don‘t know how to thank George Harrison enough for having writen this song and how to thank Jeff Healey having performed it in this incredible way. Whereas the song came from Georges beautiful mind, Jeffs playing and singing came directly from his wonderful Soul and touched mine like hardly anyone before. The first time I heard him playing was in the film „Road House“ and since then I was hooked to his way of performen! Rest in Peace and let the angels hear your music! 😉😎👍
This guy was a fantastic musician and it was very, very sad that he died so young, RIP Mr Healey a very talented young man that never let his disability get in the way of something that he is so clearly passionate about
+MetalGearFan2011 Indeed he was! I saw him four times during the 90's and he amazed me every time. Hahaha, he suddenly jumped up from his chair and run around on the stage playing with his teeth and threw the guitar on his shoulders and played the damnest solos you ever heard, and the suddenly cool and calculated he counted his steps back towards the chair and sat his ass down without even feeling if the chair was there and that he hadn't counted wrong. AMAZING GUY! RIP

It's a no brainer that this is without a doubt the best version of this song ever. You can actually hear the pain in his guitar. When Jeff played his guitar, it was like the guitar was part of him. RIP Jeff, know that you are with us always, music never dies.
Я услышала его "when the night comes falling" в титрах фильма и все-я пропала!
Seen him once live in Helsinki "Finlandia Talo". Remember when he got excited and end up to stand on feet and roaming along the stage. The bass player was following him to ensure that he does not fall down off the stage. I enjoyed the concert.
I can imagine Jeff and Stevie Ray jamming together upstairs ! My guitar sadly weeps. Jeff was a model of courage, fighting against an eye cancer since he was a schoolboy. He was and will remain UNIQUE.
i wa s a young man back when the first time i ever heard of Jeff Healey played while my guitar gently weeps and loved the guys singing and guitar playing ever since RIP Jeff you are always remembered.D
Man, Jeff Healey was such a wonderful artist. Love his gruff, bluesy voice, and his so unique playing style. RIP, brother... You left way too soon, way too young.
so i have to honestly say i have a lot of respect before Jeff Healey he was blind and still he used his instrument from the FF simply masters class the man unfortunately he left us too early. Rest in peace dear Jeff
I had the amazing experience of meeting Jeff whilst working as a doorman/bouncer at a great place called "THE HARP" in a town called Port Credit, Ontario Canada.. The band playing that night were called The Meteors, Jeff was a friend of the lead singer Joe, a limousine pulled up outside the bar and out came, to my remarkable surprise, Jeff Healey...I helped him over to the bar where he sat down and had a couple of whiskey's, we struck up some casual conversation and I was truly amazed at how easy it was to get along with him... Joe and the guys from the band came over during their break, they sat and talked for about 15 minutes and Jeff joined them up on stage and sang a few songs, it was exhilarating, it really was. Then the funniest thing happened, whilst back at the bar, Jeff called me over and with the funniest lookon his face asked if I could take him to the bathroom, I said yes, of course, and told him not to be embarrassed, to which he laughed and replied..ye, well nine times out of ten I usually miss the urinal. Pure class. I will never, ever, forget that night, I was so touched by his humbleness.. The Harp no longer exists, but I can still hear Jeff plucking the strings.
Nasty Noises Inc Backing vocals too if my ears don't deceive me, I hear George? At the lyrics "I look at the world and notice it's turning" & "With every mistake, we must surely be learning".
in 1998 we had the Xmas party at Healey's in Toronto. My then boss knew I was a big fan and on purpose she didn't tell me the exact location until then evening of the event. Being that I am not originally from Toronto, I didn't know what to expect. We arrived around 1900, soon after the band walks in and there is Jeff. They played mostly blues and smooth jazz, the show was amazing and he was incredible. At the intermission I got my courage up and went and talked to him. He was so humble, nice, soft spoken and all around a great guy. I will always remember that night. R.I.P. Jeff ...

In my opinion, the best version of this song.
I totally agree
@@enzagiannattasio4491 me too
Maybe, I think I prefare the person with George Harrison and Clapton in Japan. Slower, but he has total control of the notes, it really does weep.
@@mister.costello "prefare"??🤷♂
In my opinion, it's one of the worst versions I've ever heard.
