Simply brilliant. The other guitarist shreds an impressive technical and good solo and Jeff lets him have plenty of time to shine and waits his turn calmly and delivery a gutsy and melodically inspired solo. There is plenty room at top as Joe Pass once said.
What a loss, he is one of the greats, I love his music. Ironically the horrible disease that cost him his sight in a way helped make him one of the great guitarists. I will love his music forever.
Stephanie B he was put in a incubator when he was a baby as he was 2 small. They gave his pure oxygen on accident made him blind. Not sure to what else ailef him. Pretty sure their was more but dont quote me.
Carl Smith, no, he had cancer in his eyes at age 1. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Healey was raised in the city's west end. He was adopted as an infant;[1] his adoptive father was a firefighter. When he was almost one year old, Healey lost his sight to retinoblastoma, a rare cancer of the eyes. His eyes had to be surgically removed, and he was given ocular prostheses.
Jeff had an attack like no one I've ever heard. The man could RIP the enamel off your teeth when he tore into a solo. There's never been a musician like Jeff and sadly there wont be another. RIP maestro Jeff, you are missed!
I have always thought it was amazing he could play lead guitar like he did. Saw him live and just kept shaking my head as he kept blazing away. He took each solo as if it were the last one he was ever going to play. Sadly, it was not too long after this that he did play his last lick. Greatly admired and missed in this corner. RIP Jeff. Angel Eyes are for you.
This version drips soul all over the place! ! I appreciate the Beatles, and thier contributions to music. But thier sound is too plain. Too straight. Then I hear this version, and almost cry everytime.

Wow. I agree with the other poster in here. Why would there need to even be an existence of a dislike/thumbs down for this video. I don't usually like covers, but this dude brought it to another level, and owned it.
And what comes to mind when I listen to this rendition over and over? Artistry. Instrumental mastery. Brilliance. Musicianship. Genius. Inspirational. Unparalleled vocals. Gifted. Emotional.
