Governors Island has a very special place in my heart. From January 1982 to September 1982, I attended the US Coast Guard Training Center Electronics Technician School. I had a great time during that year. I saw my first snowstorm, a Broadway show for free (the USO had so many shows free for the military), the 42nd Street when it was the real 42nd; I bought a Canon AE1P, so much shopping but so little money 😂. My most precious photo is the picture I took on the golf course of the Twin Towers at night. Every time I look at it, I cry. Sir, thank you for the memories; you gained my subscription. Stay safe. 🙏
Every now and again I wonder why I make these silly little internet videos and then a comment like this comes along that makes me so happy I do. Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I would love to see your work if you’re ever open to sharing it ❤️
This is so unbelievably beautiful. You are beautiful. It amazes me how you turn your photography into a story, a movie, and a lesson all in one with this piece. Let’s do a winter wonderland ep out here in 22 maybe??
Only the 45mm right now which comes out to around a 35mm on a normal sensor. I wish I had more but this focal length is my favorite so it's the only one I use right now!
