We have said this before and we're saying it again... that first frame is enough to convice us about the entire video. Great work again Faizal. Big fans from India❤. We have learnt a great deal about frames and compositions watching your videos.
I really like it how right at time stamp 4:10, you showed what you were doing with the “lowering” your shutter speed so you could get some motion blur. This helps me as I am a beginner photographer that is absorbing as much tips and tricks as I can to do well as I go out to shoot street photography. 👍🏼
So good. Love this video...no equipment talk, just shooting. I'm a street photographer in NYC too and really appreciate your eye on this great city. Would love to walk around and shoot with you sometime.
Exceptional, as always. Please keep doing what you’re doing. Watching your videos not only help me find new ways to go about composition and subject selection, but camera settings and choices etc. Currently preparing for my first street photography trip to Melbourne Australia and your videos have helped so incredibly much. Thank you
I absolutely love your work. I think that your photography is just as good if not better than some of the “great photographers” that I have studied. Absolutely talented!
Wow your photos remind me so much of Saul Leiter. Really been loving what you've been posting on IG and youtube. Also you somehow manage to nail an almost kodachrome look with Fuji that is pretty hard to make without looking cheesy or having an uncannyness to it. Thank you for the inspiration and really enjoying your work recently!
I really appreciate your work! And by this, I mean your photography AND your videos. It's great, that you take us with you photographing but also with your thoughts about photography itself. Keep it rolling!
just bought my first fuji camera and ran across your page bro. your video and photo composition is really inspiring. thanks for the added motivation to get out and create more. love
Good to see another photographer doing POV photography. I was just in Asia for 7 months filming POV videos & shooting photo's but the USA looks like it might be my next trip after seeing videos like these! Thanks for the video mate 🙏
There at the beginning of the video there is that exit from the subway station, man, there you could explore a lot. It would certainly leave excellent photographs, and even inside the station. Here in São Paulo, Brazil, we like to explore train stations, subways and bus terminals, it makes for good pictures.
Hey Faizal, I loved this video - I really enjoy the way you see and capture the world. It's photography, but it's not just street photography, it's so much more observational and creative, and close to the way I try to approach photographing the streets. Great job!
Nice images. It would be perhaps a good idea to include focal length and lens in the info presented with each image as this would eliminate the guesswork...
Wow this is so good! Some really nice photos in this video. I especially love all the ones with motion blurs. No places like NYC. Thanks for sharing, mate.
This is my first time seeing your photos and I really enjoyed it. I was just in NYC over the last weekend with X100V. I was with my friends so I couldn’t take as many photos, but NYC is definitely the place with many inspirations and subjects to capture. Really inspired me to play around with my other lens and X-T4 to try other than 35mm.
i started photography very recently and you inspire me a lot! i learned a lot thanks to your channel, your pictures are amazing and i aspire to do stuff as good as yours someday
You're so good it's stupid. It's such a gift what you're giving me as a beginner who started out a year ago not knowing jack squat about this craft and now I can take photos with such confidence and with the knowledge that I am getting better day by day. I can see the years of hard work in every photo you take. Thank you :)
Enjoyed this one Faizal. Nice photos, and I like the more artsy style you tend to lean towards. Are you planning on doing a review/impressions vid on the sigma 18-50? Favorite shot is definitely the one at 4:30
Thanks Joseph! I don't really know if I will because I'm not exactly technical when it comes to lenses. For me the main reasoning was I don't think there's any other lens option out there that's native Fujifilm mount that is 18-50 and this compact/light. My only con so far is no aperture ring
@@FaizalWestcott Your welcome! Yeah that (and no ois) has held me back from switching from the fuji 18-55. Seems to produce great images though, especially with your presets;)!
yo Faizal! When are you going to release your own photobook???!!! Omg your shots remind me so much of my favorite photographer Ernst Haas. Please release a photobook!!!
Faisal, your work is outstanding, and I can't wait for your next presentation. The images and mood your videos present leaves one wanting more. Thank you.
It’s a good day to wake up to a new video! Awesome shots. I recently sold my larger cameras because of how unsafe I’ve felt lately and just went with the two ricohs and the teleconverter. Have you ever felt the same? I’m a 4’11 woman and like to shoot alone 😔 so it’s been kind of rough ever since Covid it seems like. Also! Have you ever tried artichoke pizza?! It’s what I look forward to the most when I visit my wife’s family in NYC and then street photography 💁🏻♀️📸
Amazing video, after watching your videos I get inspired to go and take photos too. It would be great if you could add the focal lengths for the photos, in curious to know what you used mostly
Your lens 18-50 Sigma?Do you find it blows a breeze into your eye when you zoom in and out?I tried one and it was very strong and forceful…wondered if yours is the same.
When you guys use slow shutter speed for motion blur like the one in 6:00 does your camera/lens have image stabilizer? Because I dont have stabilizer on either my camera or lense and when I try to shoot on slow shutter speed hand held everything is basically blurry
A day in New York never fails to inspire and produce amazing moment. Well done making these, I always love your work!
You really have a good eye & can spot interesting visual potential - a real gift. Very street. I'm envious!
Yet another masterpiece Faizal. So much talent is intimidating and inspiring at the same time... You're awesome!
Thank you so much 😀
can we all agree that Faizal should print his own photobook. His shots remind me so much of ernst haas and vivian maier
Great! Thank you!!!.. photos are wonderful!!! Seeing things is a good ability!!!..
The self-portrait at 6:00 is perhaps my favourite self-portrait I've ever seen.
Some really amazing pics! Great video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks!

8:37! I love that one, the colors, the composition... just super fascinating! Could watch these videos for hours :)

Just beautiful work. Love how you shoot through things and off of them.
The color grading of the video is excellent. Would you mind sharing how you did it and the setting? thanks.
the photo at 9:23 is pure perfection. I’d wager the color version is so dreamy with the sun casting down on the scene
So good. Love this video...no equipment talk, just shooting. I'm a street photographer in NYC too and really appreciate your eye on this great city. Would love to walk around and shoot with you sometime.
Omg I am getting into photography. I am so glad I found you. I will be binge all ur videos. Thanks for everything
Your pictures are amazing.. enjoyed this learning segment … what a gift… thank you for sharing …
I really appreciate that :)
Another really inspiring video Faizal! Love your laidback style and approach. And your imagery deserves an exhibit in a gallery,
We are watching a genius at work. Thank you for sharing your process and photos. So good!

The Wall Street photos sadden me ... the street was so much more alive 25 years ago.
I just got my X-T30 II with 27mm f/2.8 and we are going to New York in April 2024, can't wait to get to shoot in Manhattan!
I absolutely love your work. I think that your photography is just as good if not better than some of the “great photographers” that I have studied. Absolutely talented!
What a fantastic mood. And plenty of inspiration, as usual.
Love it!
I love the tilt you sometimes do with the camera, can you tell us what makes you compose that way?
I love the chill vibe of your videos. 🙌
Lovely as always. I see several people urging you to make a photo book, and I agree! I wish more photographers on RUclips made photo books in general.
Wonderful images! Love the way you bring a mood into your photos.

wow- creative composition. and that opening shot- the symmetry... hell yes! great video- thank you
Really good work. Especially your inclusion of the environment elements in your pictures. It makes it feel like you're there....peeking around things.
Thank you for this inspiring work. I wish you many photo days.

Yo! love how chill this is, and that it has no commentary! Your shots are casual, chill, and experimental, love it! it's very inspiring :0
Beautiful video! And inspirational since these are my stomping grounds for work! Thanks for sharing!
Pretty photos!! Could you do a video for beginners how to approach in street photography? Love from Italy ⭐️🧸💌💻🤍
Wow this is amazing. Love the music choices too
Nice images. It would be perhaps a good idea to include focal length and lens in the info presented with each image as this would eliminate the guesswork...
This was so fun to watch. Your photos are so great and inspirational. This video can be watched multiple times and that fact says everything 👏👏👏
This video is so calming!!!
Absolute stunning shots on here Faizal. Just breath taking.
Thanks Faizal. This was a joy to watch!

Always a pleasure to watch your POV videos Faizal. Great job!
this is what a street photography channel should be like. just pure photography. not a lot of talking, just PURE PHOTOGRAPHY!

Some of your best work. Fantastic.
9:22, gorgeous image!
Thanks for sharing your process.
Good idea for street photography and what to use, camera, lens and filter on videos camera. Thank?
I love your work !! Great job!
I can relate well to the second part as I am in midst of South Korea right now
Pretty inspiring shots. Love the video
Beautiful photography and video , Bravo
Been here for a while and really enjoyed this style of video. Really enjoy your channel>
it is so beautiful. your video also provides me an idea to do my documentary assignment lol.
Faizal I enjoyed viewing your work in the video. NiceEye!
Bro ,u really got so much decisive moment and that guiding line composition so mesmerizing 👍👍👍
A fantastic set of street photographs! Nice work.
Your photography is so inspiring 💕 I would love to see shots with an xt30 II
Faisal, your work is outstanding, and I can't wait for your next presentation. The images and mood your videos present leaves one wanting more. Thank you.
Formidable as always, Faizal. I’d love to see some motion blur with Ektachrome or Ektar (if you’re shooting film these days).
Great stuff. I need to try 6400 some time, you're getting great DoF and freezing movement. Keep them coming :)
This was a great photo walk.

I love watching your photography POV videos ❤
Glad they're still interesting to watch!
Beautiful film
Amazing!
Incredible photo walk Faizal! loved those fence frames 😁
New to photography. How do you achieve the motion-blur effect around 6:03?
Amazing video, after watching your videos I get inspired to go and take photos too. It would be great if you could add the focal lengths for the photos, in curious to know what you used mostly
Beautiful pictures ! Reminds me of Saul Leiter
Love your photos. I'd love to go shooting with you the next time you're in NYC.
Hi Faizal love the vid can you say why you preferred to use a zoom over fixed prime fuji say 23 or 27mm etc thanks
I don’t. I prefer fixed lenses, but been testing the lens out to see how I like it as a travel/video lens
Your lens 18-50 Sigma?Do you find it blows a breeze into your eye when you zoom in and out?I tried one and it was very strong and forceful…wondered if yours is the same.
You are inspiring Faizal!
How do you get that red halo around the light sources? I would love to know, how you achieve that effect. I bet it is done in post :)
What lenses do you use? I see one of them is Sigma 18-50, I believe. What other lenses?
First lens is Konica M-Hexanon 50mm f/2 😊
you should submit that wiggly tower photo (at 1:30) to archdaily or someone else who runs architecture photography competitions, thats a prize winner
When you guys use slow shutter speed for motion blur like the one in 6:00 does your camera/lens have image stabilizer? Because I dont have stabilizer on either my camera or lense and when I try to shoot on slow shutter speed hand held everything is basically blurry
Krásné fotografie. Skvělé video 👍🏼
Bro what lense is this?
the vintage one
What’s the first lens you were using?
Awesome
How is focus peaking on T5 I wonder if there any is any enhanced tools that makes it better than previously.
Nice work, both photo and video. What camera/lens did you use for the video portion?
It looks like the Sigma 18-50 f2.8 on the XT5 + GoPro for POV
