After watching this video, I called the Pinellas County non emergency line and asked about volunteering to help with cleanup/shelter work. They transferred me to a county agency and took my information down. I really hope I can help my community somehow. Seeing Ft. Myers after Ian was one thing, but to see this where I live moved me to tears. Here from Kenneth City, Pinellas County, with love. ❤
As boater, I'll give other boaters some good advice. I've been here for 66 years. People, be careful on the water. There's a lot of debris floating around out there. So be careful with your speed. It sucks to hit a dislodged dock!
You have no idea how inspiring your 2 Helene videos have been to me and my family. In the first video, the Friendly Fishing boats coming back home was unbelievably emotional. I have a place across John's Pass and, have watched them go out and come back every day without much thought, but it will mean so much more from now on. In this video, your team's "get it done" attitude gives chills. To all of you....Well done!
I agree with you watching those two boats come back into the harbor reminded me of the Forrest Gump movie when everything else around fell apart the fishing boats save the day, like Calvary coming.
Thanks for cleaning up our beautiful vacation spot. Our resort got hit pretty hard. We are supposed to come in November. Prayers up for everyone that has lost their homes and belongings. Florida strong.
Dylan, it is great to see Capt. Bryon out there with you guys assisting with everything. I always think about him when I would watch the livecam facing the Gulf of Mexico, especially at night with the flashing lights of the channel markers. Dylan, you are doing a remarkable job. Keep up the great work. You are all in my thoughts constantly. -- John L.
Dylan thanks for taking us along on the clean up. So many of us have been worried about how ya'll weathered the storm. So many are praying you all through this ❤
Dylan my heart goes out to everybody on the beaches you do have a sick crew going there man knocking it out I watch you every Friday on FOX 13 I wish everybody the best you your family and all your employees and everyone there at John's Pass the best
May these circumstances bring you all closer to each other as a community and closer to God. Despite the devastation many lives were saved. Blessings to all from 🇿🇦. You are in our prayers.
The first 18 yrs of my life my family vacationed in Treasure Island and we have fished multiple dozens of times at the Johns Pass bridge, My dad fished at the old bridge as he was raised there. So glad to see it is intact and you are getting your life back in order. God Bless all of you
God bless you guys, th😢is is what community looks like, I grew up in Indian rocks/Madera bch so it's painful to see what Helene did, but it's heartwarming to see how positive yall are staying!!!
🌴🌴🌴 This is when the true light of people come out 🙏💥❗️ When my house was hit by a tornado in 2020 in Nashville I immediately had strangers helping me. This was my second home and I was surprised that right after the tornado someone came along with Chainsaws asking if I wanted help, I was taken aback because coming from California I thought that they were taking advantage of me during hard times only to find out that what they were offering was absolutely FREE 💥❗️And i had helpers with me for over a month and never asked for ANYTHING 🙏❗️ This world 🌎 will always have great people in it. Blessings from Paso Robles, California, Carlos
Omg you are doing such an amazing job. Your positive attitude is so inspiring. Sending much love for johns pass. Thank you for sharing this. I’m a Canadian who’s been coming to mad beach for the last 42 years, I was 8! This gem of a place in the world holds a piece my heart. Was just back in august fishing at the bridge with my bro reliving childhood memories. Dad comes to Mad beach every winter. Just across from the very devastated Boo. I know they will rebuild as you have. Looking forward to my next trip down. ❤ stay positive!!!
So proud of you all. I’m from Treasure Island and I’m SO grateful of all the help that has been flooding our way. I do have to say… PLEASE TOW TRUCKS,,, help us!
Love your upbeat attitude. I haven't been down there in many years but as a child in the 40's and 50's we lived in Clearwater, St. Pete, Largo and Gulfport. My cousin was there at John's Pass a couple months ago and loved it. Even though it been a while since we've been there, it's sad to see so much damage at a place where you have many fond memories. Wish you all the best and hope the cleanup and repairs are accomplished quickly.
Our support and prayers are with you. THANK YOU so much, it's so great to see the motivation and resilient attitude of you wonderful people. We travel and visit Hubbard's Marina many times a year. It is heartwarming to see your persistence to rebuild and know we will be able to once again meet while on our visits. We are rooting for each and every one of you. Thank you as well for the updates.
God Bless you. Yesterday was bad for me watching the video footage because the Pinellas Coast is where I lived for decades and spent time with friends and family. It will get bet better. Millions of people have come here and had special memories...
John’s Pass and Madeira Beach were always on our program when we used to spend our winters in Florida. I am so sad to see the destruction. But I am also impressed with the spirit of the people there. Real Americans!!!!
Heart is full with your team support to bring Madeira Beach back at H Marina, John's Pass...and even, Pelican Pete is in expectant wait for ALL return.❤ 🙏🏻🕊
This is so unbelievable to see all the destruction. You will come back stronger. John’s Pass and Treasure Island was my favorite places. Many happy memories.Praying for you all and be safe.I’m from Ohio

My wife and I have visited Madeira Beach many times and I’ve fished on your boats and eaten several meals at the Friendly Fisherman and at DeLosas Pizza! I really hate to see that this happened but I’m happy to see the positive attitudes and the progress that you guys are making!
This is why we love Florida. People see this and wonder why we live where we live. Truth is, we love this place and we’ll do anything to keep it going. You can stop if you want, but the world keeps turning
yes you all are kicking ass on the cleanup. Prioritize and get done what you can...a trailer later when bridge is open for the big items. Keep anything with utility.
Get it folks. We will be down next summer and be spending our money at all the establishments. Your positivity is inspiring and we would love to meet you next August. It's the best we can do being from PA. Gold bless you all
I hope things work out great and whatever is salvageable keep and reuse I just moved to Florida and the storm yea scared me but the next day my neighbors and I cleaned everything up and fixed a lot of things the work and everything is a killer but one thing about you, is you have the most positive attitude and that is great because that will motivate everyone to work hard and fast for the hard work they do give them a great celebration for the hard work at the end good luck hope everything goes well
