Definitely fortunate most structures are standing but drone footage is a little deceptive though being at more eye level when filming we definitely saw a lot of wrecked houses. Interiors will need to be completely gutted im sure. Lots of sand infiltration and water damage.
@@JustinDoesWhat I understand, I feel with every person and family that has been affected of this force of nature. I guess the consequenses for these people are really bad on many levels. Thank's for you feedback.
Maybe check in with an eye doctor.
This is awesome film. Our child is at img academy (inland). we are close to relocating to bradenton. Bradenton strong! Chins up! The town has tremendous character and will be back soon enough. Stay positive.
Stop being so dramatic
@jamesmay5860 just my personality type. I do think a lot of your town. Its been great for our kid.
Oh no this is so sad… the streets got destroyed. This island has always been where I would go to appreciate gods magnificent work
My family and I have rented several properties in the recent years on AMI. I could actually see one of the properties on one of the canals. There is a house right on the beach that wasn't shown but I can't imagine the extent of the damage :(
I need to see pictures of the front at 210 near Bridge Street. I love that little place ....
Thank you also . Prayers for all. Seemed towards Publix towards Holmes is a sand box . Homes looked good on top but I'm sure they've been hammered by salt water. God bless all u guys and thanks again . Tn saw the blunt of this beast of a storm with flood . Too many missing. No communication no cell no power no water for months. God Bless America. It's time to come together folks.
Terrible. Sad.
However, these people are multi-millionaires.
They can and WILL rebuild. (And we will all pay for it)
I’m more worried about how the people who work for these people are going to get through this…
I agree with you; those less fortunate who don’t have the resources will like suffer the most!!
Feel free to F off since you have no clue
Looks like most of the buildings are still standing, even though the roads are covered in sand...
Though they look unscathed the inside of the structures have likely alot of destruction from the storm surge of water and sand that found it way inside!!
thank you
🙏🙌
I moved to Florida in 87 because I fell in love with AMI.I live 45 min north of her and had visited her frequently. Had many family reunions there.Last time 6 years ago.Planning on another May 2025.Reserved a beach front place. And by the Grace of God the building survived and all contents unharmed.!!!!
She is my Paradise in Earth.
I can’t wait to return next year.
Praying for All ❤
Great footage! Clearest I’ve seen! 🤩 Do you have the area of Gulf Dr between 34th and 35th? Seems to be skipped and just what I was looking for. Hope you might have and post it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@Ourfloridaproject I don’t know if i filmed there. I used 5 batteries filming all day. I missed Key Royale also. Was wishing I had more flight time. I have about 2 hours of video but had condensed it down to 20 minutes. I will look back though for you. 🙌
@@JustinDoesWhatAwesome work!! Thank you! And kind of you to try and look! Thanks! Trying to help elderly parents get information.
So sad. Thanks for sharing.
Coquina Beach is my soul place So heartbreaking for all who love & live on AMI, 💔
Same! The island will come back stronger. Will just take some time.
I'm bet the Anchor Inn will be the first business open. Great bar!
Can’t keep them shut down! 👏🙌
@@JustinDoesWhat only between 3am and 7am
Praying 🙏 for everyone
@JustDoesWhat: Did your video show any footage in Bean Point, the northern tip of AMI? How is the situation there?
Just towards the end of the video. Seems like most buildings took on some water of some kind from what i saw and am hearing. Most buildings seemed to be standing at least.
@@JustinDoesWhat Thank you. I was at AMI this past February and loved Bean Point. I almost purchased a house there, around 1.5M, but didn't go through with it due to the high cost of home & flood insurance. I guess in a way, I got lucky but sad for people who are there. My favorite is the Grouper restaurant in AMI.
