Gah!! You and your sister are such the cutest pair! The part where she said, "I can't do it like you can. I'm like no - here take $30!" Haha! SAME, girl! 😅 Saaaame!
Omg! Cannot believe the prices of the stuff at the flea markets in your area. I'm a little sticker shocked. No wonder a lot of people that shops in the antique mall where i have my both here in Michigan are saying that are prices are very reasonable. Thank you for tagging us along on your picking adventure. Cannot wait to see your next video.
Dear A.... you are true to your style/ colors/ items that group well-- you have that innate ability to spot "it" in a pile & pull it out ! Pairing the refined items w/ the less refined/ the usual w/ the unusual-- is what draws people to your booth. You know how to put it all together -- prize winning ! ( P.S. booth reveal coming soon ?) ( Can't leave w/out giving Mike a shout out-- what a keeper !!)
I think you did really well and yes, it’s ok you went over budget because you resell so you gotta get the deals when you see them. I wish I was able to shop there, great stuff!
I loved your picks, I loved the table you mentioned for (I think) your sis and those beautiful mid-century buffet/dressers...mid-century gets me every time...
Ohhh such fantastic finds! You are such an inspiration when Im shopping for my booth. Absolutely love your style and I look forward to when your videos come out! Im always checking " Ok does Amanda have a new video today?" LOL keep em comin
New subscriber here, just binging my new favorite TV show, Amanda‘s Mercantile. Started from the oldest and working my way to the newest episodes. And I must say, I’m a big fan of the Electrician. Big fan. Really happy for you, Amanda!
Omg I would have gone Wayyyy over budget with all the gems I peeped as you were walking around. That cabinet you acquired stole my heart. Loved it! You always have a great eye for Decor!
That vintage white christmas tree was so cheap compared to prices here in New Jersey. Great video. I love seeing all the different antiques you have, Thanks
You pick so many things I would have also picked. That ladder @5:43 was a total steal. I would have also grabbed the bench @5:55, and possibly the windows @7:49. Lastly, IF I had the room and IF I had the money, I'd buy that long green cabinet @15:32. That would be an amazing kitchen island or work island in a craft room. Love it.
Hi Amanda, I think that the way you can stage pieces is second to none, so whatever you buy, you will make it work. I particularly liked the round table for 225 and the Christmas trees on it. I would have bought table and all the trees for my home. I love how that was staged. I expect as a seller that was too expensive for you. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Best wishes from western Australia.
I like the mix of items you found at both places....but it felt like prices at Luckett's were a touch better. I know it was crazy doing vlogmas last year, but are you going to give it a go again this year? No pressure ... really!
Love the butcher block table, frames were awesome, I would have bought those two jackets! All in all a great haul...wish I could come to your booth for some of your finds, maybe some day...I am here in Ohio...
I always enjoy your shopping trips! Making a game out of it is fun, but you are a reseller and you need to first and foremost take care of business! If things are super heavy, I always use the furniture slides under the feet of the piece.🤗
You got some awesome stuff!!!! Love the mirrors. They really look good together. Great prices on the bench. I would’ve bought those. Also, I think you did great.😊😊
Wow! Miss Amanda you did great! I am from California , l always wachted your blogs the newones and oldones they are really good.keep up the good work, you got confidence and potential, you van go too far. Thank you. Miss Martha from Ca.
I loved everything you picked up. The butcher block was awesome. Hope you do utube showing how you staged items bought for booth. And I love seeing Tori and mike.
Such a fun video! I wanna be you when I grow up 😂😂 My fave finds were the frames, mirrors, and that white ladder. Watching this really was a treat-I’ve been missing my Canton Trade Days trips since moving away from Texas and this felt a lot like those trips. Thanks for taking us along!
I absolutely need that water Buffalo mount 😂 and I loved the paintings you saw at luckets! You are such a gem on RUclips and I’m so glad I found you! I love all your videos and it brings back great memories of when my mom and I used to antique shop, in Virginia actually. She lived near Mechanicsville for many years before she passed. Thanks for filling my heart with good memories this holiday season! You are awesome ❤ and Happy Holidays 😊
Ah, so dangerous at both - saw so many things I would have loved to buy! Good thing for my wallet that I wasn't there, ha! I think you did great! This was fun!
Budgets are just a suggestion 🤣. A really soft suggestion. Also, I’m weird. I’d keep the bat to put in resin or as a wet in a jar and sell it 🤷🏻♀️. Free inventory! 😂
Over budget or not, I think your purchases will bring you good returns. Not so fond of the glass pieces, although I'm sure they're collectible. 🤔I admire your self control!!!
It is unrealistic to stay on budget when antique and vintage shopping. You have to buy it when you see it. Considering you where also buying some items to keep and not flip, it won't compute. You go girl. Oh and my favorite was the water buffalo horn mount.
Just discovered you through Melanie. Fun video to watch and boy I sure wish out here in Washington state we had those types of things but they just don't seem to do well here for some reason. I'm on a waiting list to get into an interior Mall which has a very popular restaurant next to it so I've got my fingers crossed on that. Do you see much glassware being bought I noticed that you bought a covered dish but someone else I follow had mentioned that glass is not selling very well.
Just started watching, but from the thumbnail it looks like you found your small 12” wicker lamp you were looking for a while ago! ☺️ it makes me so happy when you upload 🖤 Edit: oh noooo it was just a mushroom! 😂🥹
Hi Amanda, are you thinking about redoing the patina cabinet that you bought for $250? If so, would you consider doing it on RUclips so we can see what your process is? It’s a beautiful cabinet…..it’s one that I’ve been looking for so I could put my Franciscan Apple ware set in. Thank you And yes, it is OK that you went over budget because you never know what you’re going to find! 😉🙋🏻♀️
I still can’t believe Mike found a bat in his pocket.
Crazy!
Butcher Block table was beautiful!
Gah!! You and your sister are such the cutest pair! The part where she said, "I can't do it like you can. I'm like no - here take $30!" Haha! SAME, girl! 😅 Saaaame!
The horse painting @6:50 is 😍
The beige coat is beautiful. Great finds.
This video was so fun! And no one can blame you for going over budget, you snagged some incredible pieces!
Thank you! I’ll be honest I gave up pretty easily 🫢
Thank you so much for taking us with you and Mike. You got some great deal. Great picking.
I loved everything but especially the butcher block table! That was a good buy.
Thank you! We’ve really enjoying having it so far
I love every item you purchased!🧡💛🧡
Thank you!

Yes! Our area is definitely on the higher price side. Lucketts is about hr south of Washington DC.

I absolutely love that butcher block table for your kitchen!
No problem with anything you bought at either market. Great buys ❤.
Great idea! You exercised such self control!
I like the mix of items you found at both places....but it felt like prices at Luckett's were a touch better. I know it was crazy doing vlogmas last year, but are you going to give it a go again this year? No pressure ... really!

Wonderful! Would love to have the suitcases.
Fun watching you shop....LOVE all your purchases!!
Loved it
Loved the video. Great buys.
Thanks for taking us along and showing us prices, they seam higher than the Midwest.
From what I’ve seen in our 250 mile radius of VA, we do have higher prices than the Midwest. Maybe one day I’ll pick there and ship it all back here!
Wow! Miss Amanda you did great! I am from California , l always wachted your blogs the newones and oldones they are really good.keep up the good work, you got confidence and potential, you van go too far. Thank you. Miss Martha from Ca.

You just have to love Mike
This was fun, Amanda. I could spend so much money shopping there.😍😅
Love your videos always.
Budgets are fluid, we gotta take advantage of good deals! I love the cabinet with the screen on it. Always love your videos. : )
Great finds!!! I loved that white prim cabinet with no door...175 I think...I might've had to snag that one!

Yes! So hard to stay on any kind of budget when antiquing especially at shows. I didn’t beat myself up too hard about it 😁
Mike, go Vols!!!
Now I would love to see your house.
Love that area.i drive from Pennsylvania down thru Virginia.

@@amandasmercantile 😂😂😂 I was so happy for you!! And then tragedy struck 🍄
Great video 👍
Fun is all that matters...!! plus some for resale of course...
You definitely have a unique taste. None of that stuff would sell In my area.
Love those antique oil paintings! Most of them are quite pricey though.
I feel better about the 9 wicker mirrors that I've hoarded for my booth now. 😆
Great Prices, Prices here in New England are crazy high!😮
There is definitely a 15-20% markup VS a few years ago.
This was fun. Would love to see a comparison to current prices with the economy going up this year. 😊

I miss you! Wish you did more videos!
Now THAT's a thrift/antique-with-me video! Everything was intriguing and your finds were superb. Don't you usually vend at Luckett's?
Oh my gosh. Where have you been? I was so excited to see you had a video up. More please. Are you going to do Vlogmas?
I think you get a pass when it is something you are going to use in your own home, like the butcher block! You will get good use of that!
Have you ever been to Hillsville? It's awesome.
Love your videos! You always find the best stuff!
Thank you!
Are you going to do Vlog mas this year?
