Shopping The Antique Expo

- One event that I plan my antiquing travels around is the Antique Expo. There's a spring antique market and fall antique market and I usually shop one or the other because I'm usually setup up for the Lucketts Show, which they schedule on the same darn weekends every year. I love this event, there's outside venders and 3 buildings of inside vendors and a great mix of high-end vintage & antiques with flea market style finds and shopping. This vintage and antique show always produces unique finds for me to resale in my antique booth space and the antique shopping that I have is a good one. The number of marble top dressers I see you come by kills me a bit each time, bc I've been searching for one forever and it just never works out! I'm taking it as a sign that there are always more out there.....I love your tastes and your strategies when navigating these "fairs". I'm a long time dealer in swva. I make frequent trips to the Shenandoah valley to purchase inventory. Honestly what I've found out is that I can buy early, regional pieces for a fraction of what people are paying for mid century modern. Fine by me. Lol. The factory antique mall has allot of flea market junk in it and looks less like a true antique mall with each passing year but I still do on occasion find some great things there. Your booth is always tastefully done. I've bought a few items from you.
Love your shop along videos!! I love vintage $ Antique flea markets, they are so much fun. I live in Utah & they only have 1 good market. One in the Spring & one in the Fall. 3 hour drive each way, so I don’t always get to go. :(. Thanks for bringing us along. I love the table with the tiles on the top.

That starburst clock is missing its wood dowels. I actually have some of those dowels but sold some of them off of a nonworking clock.

Im sure someone has already mentioned this, Im too lazy to read all previous commemts 😂 ... I learned the hard way to always take notes when shopping a big fair. Either in a small notebook or on my phone.

Yes, these prices seem very high to me. I'm in Illinois, these type things are a lot cheaper here.
I'm new to your channel. Hairy Tornado recommended your videos. Just a thought, when you go to flea markets, take a picture of what you pay for to be picked up later and a picture of the booth so hat you don't forget any of the treasures.

I came to your channel per Harry Tornado's nice words about following you. I enjoyed watching you at the Expo and your haul, however; it would be nice to know what you paid for the items you picked up to flip so we can get an idea what those kinds of items go for.
What was the deal on the frame and clock?
1st time finding you. Love the content. Suggestion... it was hard to understand some conversation with music overlay when you were at the market. With RUclips copyright restrictions, you might not be able to fix that. I would have appreciated hearing your comments clearly though. Also, it would be nice to know vendor asking prices, at least, even if you don't want to state what you paid.
How much was the black cat shop project cat?
