very clever to win a war is too to use cheaper arms to destroy expensive arms
Last resort anti air defences on Western War Ships are variations on the MINIGUN or Phalanx. These need a power source to function, but with their insane rate of fire, the US places them on their most valuable assets. (Carriers) Can they be effective (really effective) against Iranian Drones? They are cheaper than missiles and the tracers allow the gunner to HOSE the target. Is this a good idea? if not why not?
Now that the drone problem is over, rapid mobile air defence forces will solve it, they will run to hunt Drone. BARVO BRAVO BRAVO, So don't scream anymore baby if there is Shahed's drone come again.

Looks like the US sent 14 Avengers not 12 that are now in port in Germany and should be in Ukraine in days. The US build 1,100 of them so hopefully Ukraine gets all it needs. They are great for taking out drones and low flying helicopters and jets.

General Mckenzie is explaining CENTCOM Role, it doesn't explain if the Shahed is better in this. The "Difficulty" he is saying pertains to the operational environment they are conducting and not because of the drone. Let that sink in for a moment.
