      I used the AC vents to intro the foam and I had no issues. The car smelled great for a year or so.
      Sorry for the late response.

    This looks like a great product for also cleaning central air systems in homes by applying it , by drilling a hole on the vent just above the evaporator. But not sure if it would do any chemical damage to the oil or gas furnace element if it dripped the foam on the combustion chambers of the unit currently. But definitely looks like a great product to uses in car vent system cleaning.

    great way to clean from underneath(car manufactures need to invent flush for this problem,like hook garden hose to it )

      Problem is unit is not that sealed tight so water will get everywhere inside your vehicle. The foam is about the best solution to solving this problem. Unfortunately nobody carries it around me locally so it has to be bought off the internet :-(

    My thought is maybe just uses this foam product at the evaporator and heat unit to get rid of pest,mold, mildew at the unit and the leaf blower at each return /supply vent with a dry vac at the at unit to rid the other issue of dust/debris in the vents. (though i am curious on whats the best method to uses to make your vents brand new again is for any general vent system weather it be car , house , or building hvac system.

    Hello, If I apply it through the vents will it unclog the evaporator drain hose?

  • @TheCgraham18

    Bought the product. You may wanna mention it will likely be a complete pain in the butt to get access to your evaporator core drain. On my corvette it is virtually impossible to use this product because the drain is so high up underneath the car with basically no access. Just keep this in mind vehicle owners it may or may not be feasible to use this depending on the design of your car

      Corey Graham If you pull the blower motor out the core should be able to be seen to the right

    How different would this product be i wonder in the products they uses to clean hvac vent systems. Because in the hvac home vents its more dust usually then mildew/mold as the car vents get ...at least in certain spots of the vent systems. I heard of using dry vac and leaf blower to clean hvac vents of dust but mold /mildew or pest control i imagine you want a chemical such as this foam (in a larger quantity obviously)

    helloI have Lexus es350 2009 and I have couple of questions:which is the best way to do this process I mean through the drain plug, cabin vents or the near the a/c fan where we place the air filter and should I empty the whole foam in this process ?and the other part of the question is should I put the A/C first to the max then the heater?thanks

    How far into the drain does the tube need to go in order to pump the product into the evap box? In other words, does the product can have enough pressure so that this can this be done from below the vehicle or should it be done closer to the evap box?

    • @danloyd8462
      @danloyd8462 7 лет назад

      Clean the drain tube end and blow air through it to assure it’s draining freely. Shove the tube as far up as possible (while pushing the button to spray inside the drain tube, too) and fill the evaporator housing with the remainder of the product.
      If yours has sensitive electronics, a partial disassembly may be required. Another option is placing an Ozone machine in the vehicle with the A/C ON Recirc/High, windows up and doors closed. After several minutes, remove the ozone machine and test it for several days. Repeat if necessary. DO NOT breathe in concentrated ozone. Check out safety recommendations from the manufacturer. Be sure the drain tube is clear. A preventative action is turning the A/C off and Fan ON 2-3 minutes before shutting the car off to help remove moisture from the evaporator box after each drive.

    Why not just take the filter out and spray it in there? Even with the fan running on say low.

      Sorry dude, I just did this and there is plenty to fill evap core. I took out my blower motor and filled from inside and could see it wass completely full. I put my motor back in and turned it on and it cleaned as said. My air speed coming out the vent is now fast enough for me to not only feel but cool!!! If your evap is dirty I recommend this product.
