- First time doing a vid like this, tell me how it was, and what i could improve on etc! I realise my mic is shit :s sorry about that.

Thank you so much! returning to mesmer and noobing with chrono in WvW, this will come in handy even if some tricks like the fall damage negate are no longer present. This is something everyone can work and experiment with. Great video!

Edit: I wish there was an option to cast all skills on key press rather than release, that fall damage negation is difficult to time. xD

Every now and then I get pulled by a DH near a tower and thrown 800 feet into the air - certain death. It's very aggravating.... I'm gonna try F5 next time to see if it gets me back safely. Thanks for these tips!

1. very OOT question..how u get that golem to deal area damage there?
2. for power mesmer, are u using domination or inspiration?, cuz in roaming i always encounter condi roamer, so i have to play inspiration..wht do u think?
1. you can toggle area damage from the npc.
2. I use several builds, not only sticking to one, but for roaming inspiration builds are generally better cause of the condi cleanse and sustain!

in blink+phase retreat tricks, did you push the skill buttons at the same time? and i want to know how can i use Continuum "Shift" and phase retreat like that! is it pushing skill buttons at the same time too? :?
u use phase retreat before the continuum split ends

My keyboard is very different from your usual keyboards. My f1-f4 are very close to my other number keys, so i didnt have to change f1-f4 shatters. I got 1-6 as usual, 7 (blink mostly) on mouse, 8 is on C , 9 is on V, my elite is on ALT (very unusual i know, but hey, my thumb is very comfortable that way with those 3 keys), Dodge is on mouse, F5 is on mouse as well! But as i said, my keybinds are very unusual. I wouldnt really copy them or something..
Hey I just found your video and was wondering if most of these split at aftercast tricks still work right now?
Avoiding fall damage has been fixed and f5 during aftercast of heal signet is fixed, still works with other healing skills though.
@@FeintFate I played with the split a little bit and I had trouble with mimic skill. Somehow it always goes on full cooldown when the split ends. Anyway thanks for responding I'll keep trying!
@@kendrickyay They changed mimic a while ago to not get reset by continuum split, also says that in the description of the skill now. Also thanks, happy to help ^^

sometime phase retreat doesn't work when i use "phase retreat + blink" trick into enemy group. just staying on the spot that i used blink. and phase retreat cooldown is running! even i didn't back to initial location :( how do you think about it? is any problem with me?
I would need to see a vid of that happening to judge what u did wrong. In my experience doing it properly always works

You need to use phase retreat right before your continum split ends. Slow down my vid and check it out again, you are doing it wrong
FeintFate in my video, i used phase retreat + blink only. i know how to back with continuum split! the problem is phase retreat doesn't work when i use "phase retreat + blink" into enemy group. it doesn't back to initial location. just staying on spot i used blink
But why would u do that in the first place? it wont do anything since the frames inbetween blink and porting back with phase retreat are more or less non existant.
Either way, the time inbetween is really close, so you probably need to do it faster.

same goes for the guardian skills "judge intervention" and sword 2 "symbol of blades". you could have jumped off the cliff and before you hit the ground, just target an enemy or a mob and avoid the fall damage, it got fixed tho some years ago. and as far as i know even the Dh Skill "wings of resolve" was able to do the same, since you could cast it midair...also fixed by now.
they will prevent the same mechanic on mesmers Cs aswell, i am certain.

sure wish I could understand you, maybe slow down when trying out English. Also audio is way way low in a lot of places. It's a shame because I really need some mesmer tips and this vid would have been perfect but I cant really follow anything you are saying

your mic is shit but not as shit as mine ;) sometimes you are a bit quiet (i mean quiet lol). also i would use some slow motions here and there. nice vid otherwise. sadly my connections is too shit for aftercast stuff, timing fails in 9/10 cases at least because of changing delaytimes, same like the stow of s2, so i dont even try, too much cd-waste when it fails so often, i learned to play around it but its meeh :(
