They also seem to have forgotten that ride and has an armor breaker sword, longsword, machete which sacrifices length for speed, and a wooden sword. Also why didn't ride and just crush a smoke grenade or two, take advantage of how he can move a bit more than one third additional speed then his opponent to then get behind them, they don't seem to have any other Vision other than red green blue, I know plenty of infer information was left out from riding Spectrum like the fact she can keep Ripper mode going with more electrolytes and how he can also come back from 0% endurance five times you think a repair Nano paste kit thing. Also what was stopping riding from dual wielding bloodlust? What's stopping him from pulling that one out of thin air like dystopia and the pole arm and using either of those blades as a replacement? They should be a heavier hitter because they are dealing with more mass, and are all so longer, and even swinging backwards would have some Merit because not only can you still brace upon the back of the blade if the enemy forces your blade back at you, you can also place your hand on the back of the blade to get some extra Force if you ever need that, and well yes it is kind of spiky- this is ignoring all of ridings Feats of durability and that he survived the Exorcist destroying attack without a scratch on him and this is without getting any upgrades to endurance. Also there's the fox blade where if the enemy is armored, they will be cut through as if their armor was made of blue due to having hit the armor prior to cutting through it. Also depending on how much you have upgraded the armor breaker sword then you can indeed acquire even higher chances for the armor of an enemy to be broken which would make it even more Kryptonite towards robots then the standard high frequency blade, and you could argue that doctor would let ride and have the store that can unleash 3 billion volts of electricity which would fry the organic components of the warframe, and anything technological should have its circuits be fried. And Ryan cut through stuff that is stronger than what the warframes are built out of. Because they're made out of metal and human, now you give me one thing on human that could actually stand up to any metal as it is, and you give me any metal that is stronger than carbon nanotubes. So you tell me why that Warframe would be stronger than any opponent that Jack has faced? Also any strength Feats could also be increased because Ripper mode and they've already acknowledged that it does increase strength, but because the carbon Nano 2 within riding canning need make him even stronger when it comes to receiving damage then he should have his strength seats be multiplied by two as you can double your strength within the game, and well even if they didn't acknowledge that he has any spare blades, what was stopping riding from stabbing his opponent with the dystopia? Or swinging around that arm staff? What's even stopping him from using bloodlust? He could just dual wield them as it is built into bloodlust to be either new wielded or it can be connected to the other one into a pair of scissors basically. And they also both tampered with the results of the fight, if he did think to use the Box and then it would appear as if Excalibur was not going to check it without getting prompted by wiz, but that seems like it wouldn't even be there without Boomstick and this also sent him off of a building which is can bring with the results of the fight as well. There should be a rematch even if the only difference is location, or that the results do not get changed - location would probably change pretty much nothing and they might have left this stuff out because Jack would have won and this is a sponsored video. But who's to stop them from doing another rematch, who's to get them to do the rematch, it was still a fun video at the end of the day.
Imagine how Raiden would be screwed up if he faced a warframe controlled by tenno who had more than 2 Mastery rank and played long enough to change colours of his warframe.

I kinda on the other side of this. I LOVED the banter leading up to it, but I thought having wiz and boomstick interrupt the battle even if its just for entertainments sake made me kneejerkingly think interference. Maybe if they have in character commentary as they watch from the screen MST3K style or something, but that and how the sponsor kinda felt pushed in more than usual felt bias even though im sure it wasnt. Everyone says DB is bias when their favorite character gets an L but as a non MGS player or warframe player at face value I go away with the impression of that looking like a thing that tips the scales unfairly. Again not saying it really does just looks like it as a byproduct. Still keep experimenting Death Battle!
Having whiz and boomstick actually argue between the info-dump section and battle section is a really good choice. It gives viewer satisfaction that every “but what if X did y” is being considered before the fight itself
The scaling in warframe isnt even fair to MGS. Lotus can pull the moon in a different dimension (void) and you have warframes that can cheat death multiple times. Not only that you have the zariman angels who are more broken than that. Doesnt matter who the sponsors were raiden had odds against him.
I love in this episode how Wiz and Boomstick was arguing with each other and actually trying to give tips in the fight. Also props to Ben telling how sponsorship works in a DB cause people would just assume Excalibur would win cause of the sponsorship.
They say that but you'd be surprised, maybe they didn't make Excalibur win because of the sponsor but they gave him an easy opponent so that he can win.

Aside from that, the Exalted Blade projects waves of energy when swung, meaning that Raiden would be struck even when blocking/parrying. The waves don't cut, but I doubt his cybernetics would stand up long against repeated eletricution/radiation/overheat/freezing depending on how the Blade was modded.
@@Wulfspyder Excalibur's Exalted Blade is most likely made of pure Void energy, allowing itself to manifest into physical energy capable to shredding enemies away. Again, hypothetical. @@thewinterweeb6946 DBX can't really be counted since it doesn't have any actual research and is mostly just fan voted, something you can't really rely on when it comes to a match like this. But I do agree that a character who won a match and returns for seconds does have a good chance of losing. Take Shadow the Hedgehog for example. He was first pitted against Vegeta and lost, then against Mewtwo and lost, and then finally Ryuko, which he won. And let's not forget the few rematches, that are NOT Goku vs Superman, and the results were FAR different from the first time. Mario vs Sonic, Link vs Cloud. I find that as Death Battle continues, the research and matchups are much more accurate and fair, Deadpool vs Mask notwithstanding.
As soon as they said that Excalibur was essentially a piloted robot I instantly knew that even if Raiden did beat him, the pilot would still be fine and could just eventually send another unit.
It's much more complicated than that, but here's the thing. Excal gets killed. Tenno shows up. "Hi". Drops a void blast on Raiden. Tenno teleport. If Raiden kills the Tenno, the Tenno simply vanishes, unharmed, and Excalibur quite possibly gets back up.
I kind of agree, though I'm kind of suspicious of that choice, especially considering it's an episode sponsored by the creators of one of the fighters.
I like how this particular episode didn't take itself seriously It makes you aware that the fight is run in a computer simulator once all the stats are punched in
I haven’t played Warframe in nearly two years but this brings me back. Definitely don’t remember Excalibur being that fast. Should have had Raiden be fed to the Helminth and/or showed Excalibur receiving a blueprint for a high frequency blade.
Well I mean it’s kind of hard to pull off in game mechanics as being feats or screen time cut scene as feats, but if they include both to be fair then yes for instance you can fight against the eidolon gantulyst with any Warframe an dodge role or bullet jump away from the star prism attack giant light beam, which would make the reaction FTL, Warframe players can technically block constant lazer beam fire from corporus, it might not look like what we perceive as light speed but likely like dragon ball universe within it it’s really fast especially at Point blank range can be blocked with players reaction time there’s a bunch of loophole feats in game mechanically from enemies that use beams of light such as sentient beings etc
Or how some of our Tenno weapons are basically walking war crimes. I like Raiden, but Warframes are basically a massively upgraded version of what he could have been if he min-maxed.
I actually really like it when Wiz and Boomstick start arguing over specific parts before the ad read. It kinda helped nail down some of the advantages
Pitting Raiden against Excalibur is like pitting Sekiro against Luke Skywalker. One is indeed a very strong skilled samurai/ninja but Luke's tech difference are on a whole nother level and he has the Force
I feel like limbo is probably one of the strongest since he can send you to a dimension where nobody can help you while he freezes you and crits you over and over again. It’s hard to say who the strongest is
On one hand, I want to call this a sponsorship win, but at the same time Excalibur is carrying enough weapons to put Ratchet and Clank to shame. Not to mention it's a future super soldier vs a cyborg soldier with a super sword.
yeah sure default excalibur only armed with a glaxion a skana and twin vipers go ahead and play the regular game with only that and tell how that works out for you or better yet play CONCLAVE with that same loadout im sure you would be fine well if you find someone to play against first xD ,it was definetlly rigged from the start besides he cheated, when was the last time you saw two diferent melee weapons in the same melee slot? you cant go around with both a skana and glaive at the same time.... at least yet they said 2 years ago they would do secondary + swords combos just like glaive+ pistol combo works but still dont see that in game
I absolutely love how this was played out. Wiz and Broomstick having a personal argument. Easily my favorite skit in all the years of Death Battle. Keep coming up with unique stuff like that and I'll be an even bigger fan than I already am!
That's cool, now the tenno gets Raiden's sword blueprints, but first he has to gather materials from all across the system with rare drops and he has to wait about 3 days for it to finish crafting and even after that he has to buy a new weapon slot.
Mind you, that is very much worth the work because hey, Muramasa upgraded for Warframe use? Yeah that'd certainly get a nice little leg up for the Excalibur.
The already have the heatsword, its not as good but it can melt through the strongest materials the origin could find which is presumably alot so I'd say it would do.
Dude raiden stands absolutely no chance against warframes. They literally harness universal level powers. In what universe can he do anything against a demigod in machine form.
This was a pretty unfair fight, I mean on one end, you have Excalibur's player who literally isn't in the fight, Meanwhile, Raiden is out there risking himself. Like what is he supposed to do? Doxx him?
I think who wins on this very much depends on how deep into warframes systems and story they go. Unmodded excal with unmodded paris, kunai and skana (weapons he carries in the opening cutscene), an unmodded kubrow pet and no access to spoiler mode, goes down relatively quickly to raiden. If instead it is well modded excal with full armory access and completely upgraded spoiler mode i think it is strongly in favor of excal.
Decently deep, by the looks of it. They took the entire arsenal into consideration, which is impressive, i didn't expect them to do that. What they didn't consider is Tenno and transferrense usage in battle, but looks like it would have been an overkill.
True although I think there’s one more thing Raidens HF blade wouldn’t be able to cut through Excalibur or pretty much any warframe because of how the shields work and that warframes are made of (spoilers) basically flesh but still have the durability of such and the other thing is the sword wouldn’t be able to cut through Excalibur’s weapons on contact because the metal wouldn’t be weak enough.
Just for context, Excalibur's energy parry trick, was done when freshly woken up at level 1 with no mods, no formal no orikin reactor (doubling energy to install said mods), with starter gear, Excalibur gets even more insane once properly fitted, also the material that allowed senator Armstrong to grab the Raiden's sword, Warframes are made of something like that, and its even more advanced.
Strictly speaking, Raiden is still alive. All that remains of his biological body is his head and spinal cord, and his body was severed in the waist, so he survived. He definitely lost, but he lived
@merc4higher unless another metal gear rising revengance game arises and Raiden get's some galaxy-strength super-power, he ain't winning against a warframe.
@@Viking_Luchador I see your implication but i will say as a fan of both, Exalibur's Exalted Blade is what gave him the win here. Its not metal so the Murasama cant cut it and its powerful enough to cleave through the futuristic hyper durable materials found in Warframe so its definitely powerful enough to cut through Raiden. And if Raiden pushed Excal far enough, theres still the issue of the Tenno being able to project themselves onto the battlefield and fight using void abilities. If they had chosen Excalibur UMBRA, then Raiden would be in a 2v1 because Umbra is sentient and can fight even without the Tenno controlling it using Transference.

Let's be honest here. With how OP Warframes are in the lore and in game this was pretty one sided. This should've been a meme battle, both fandoms have amazing memes
Yep. Warframe is sponsoring the video so it was kind of a quick show off Battle of Warframe to get new players they could have did something else with the sponsorship to show off Warframe like putting him up against somebody who would have gave him real fight this fight was just one sided showing off
Raiden: “Doktor! Are you seeing this? This man just spoiled the Death Battle for himself on the first comment.” Doktor: “He should have just fast-forwarded to the fight if he really wanted to.”
Excalibur's my main character in Warframe. As soon as I saw this battle, I knew it was a wrap for Raiden. They did a good job at keeping the results accurate.
I started with Mags(long before her update) as I like challenges. Excal and volt = easy mode Mag before her refit = challenge Excal is a good frame but Umbra is better excal.
@@valor1omega Umbra isn't better than Excal nor is he even better than Excal Prime. He [looks] better but has bad synergy with certain builds and there is also one other major flaw he has which decreases his damage output and sustain. Although I play him from time to time, he definitely can't outdamage a normal excal and excal prime.
While I do agree with the outcome, I feel the reasoning was flawed. For one, the "Power" stat (Edit: which doesn't actually exist, the stat is called "Energy") doesn't determine a Warframe's physical strength (which is pretty much uniform between the various models), but instead refers to how much Energy (which is used to power their various abilities and, with a certain modification, as a secondary health bar) they can store. Atlas' shattering of the Telamon asteroid was also more done to show his fine control over stone (which is his element) than pure physical might (though he is admittedly also something of a brawler), as the asteroid was already pulverised by his Rumblers prior to him performing the final strike. Another factor that wasn't brought up is that Warframes aren't technically made of metal. Their exterior shell is comprised of "Biometal" with the insides consisting of nanite-infused organic material, which means that they actually have a composition quite similar to Armstrong's Nanomachines (son). (Citations: The Sacrifice questline, Codex Fragment: Warframes) There's also the aspect of modding, but I can fully understand why that particular subject was left unmentioned given just how many variables were already being accounted for with just the weapons.
Agreed with the Atlas feat, that said them saying that even if Excal is 1% the strength of Atlas kinda makes me accept it. I did like the use of the Glaxion though.
They reduced the energy issues with the lotus surging the wf systems which in the introduction was infinite energy for a short time (it was in the old starting stage idk if its in the new version)
Well also don't forget that Excal's sword can cut through literal dimensions and that they can survive direct hits from giant space lasers during the ambulas fight. Although this battle is literally unwinnable for Raiden even if he kills Excalibur tbh, since then he'd have to fight the operator which from what we've seen so far straight up can not die and has weird void super powers that I'm not even gonna try to make sense of, plus can regenerate Waframes if Arcanes were counted.

It’s be interesting to see how other warframes perform, with other frames having feats like rhino disrupting time with the force of his stomp (dude never skipped leg day in his life), wisp opening a literal portal to the sun, nova’s antimatter drop, or atlas’s previously mentioned asteroid punch, it’s be cool to see how they scale up to other characters in fiction. I saw one person suggest rhino vs kratos, and I don’t know how fair that would be but it sounds cool!
That one is another battle so truly gargantuan in scale i just can't commit to one side or the other... Really interesting considering rhino's iron skin has damage absorption which is thereafter converted to a layer of protective coating as strong as the damage absorbed (I do not know the exact % of this trade). I'm just glad we're finally getting some proper analysis videos on Warframe, I've been waiting for a game theory video for at least 4 years now...
Consider this, the physicaly *weakest* feat that is at least somewhat proven as canon is the blocking of the Janus key beam. Something every warframe is capable of, and it is literaly powered by the void. Void beams like those of our operators disintegrate grineer in a second, and we just *block* it. Sure it might be infinitly weaker, but the void is infinite in power. So an infinitly small part of infinity is still... infinity. Sure we can argue semantics and gameplay not equaling lore but the point is that even at its theoretical lowest, that feat alone proves immense durability. And even if you were to argue its a simple energy beam... well its still powered by the void, making it one of the arguably deadliest weapons in lore. Not to mention it made its user, Vor, immortal.

I haven’t played Warframe in nearly two years but this brings me back. Definitely don’t remember Excalibur being that fast. Should have had Raiden be fed to the Helminth and/or showed Excalibur receiving a blueprint for a high frequency blade.
That would have been hilarious and awesome!
Just seeing Excalibur board his ship with the mission results screen would have been great too!
Excal keeping Sam's blade would be epic. Excal now has a sword that destroys swords
Excalibur is pretty quick on his feet if built right
But his infinite energy sword is definitely 10/10 my favorite build

The craziest part about this was them not even going into exalted blade, Excalibur prime, the war swords, the tenno soul blast powers, or card mods.

Ive never seen legendary and impressive fights like this, the animation and the fight is so fantastic.

On one hand, I want to call this a sponsorship win, but at the same time Excalibur is carrying enough weapons to put Ratchet and Clank to shame. Not to mention it's a future super soldier vs a cyborg soldier with a super sword.
They dint mentioned Excalibur being able too tank going into the sun and scaling too a guy who shoots out black holes
Yea I forgot we used them to fight on the surface of the sun

@@rushpatriot2866 right 😆🤣😂 but I agree what he said ☝
That's cool, now the tenno gets Raiden's sword blueprints, but first he has to gather materials from all across the system with rare drops and he has to wait about 3 days for it to finish crafting and even after that he has to buy a new weapon slot.

@Groisu yes
genraly they tend to scale the fighters to thair highest points
@Groisu watch till the end
I Really liked how this DB is presented as just a personal argument, hope more are like this

Tbh I don't watch that much death battle but I just had too check this one cause I love warframe as a whole
Playing warframe again I’m shocked on how good Excalibur still is as far as I got (dealing with level 30-35 enemies) just by upgrading my speed
The fact you guys STILL haven't had Senator Armstrong or Jetstream Sam(Or Blade Wolf, for that matter) fight anyone is a downright sin.
Even tho i made the mu Jetstream Sam vs Oki(metal gear vs okami)people are probably gonna say why not blade wolf instead of Sam
@@gameuniverse5973 to be fair, I’m still waiting for them to mention gray fox’s sword for raiden.

Strictly speaking, Raiden is still alive. All that remains of his biological body is his head and spinal cord, and his body was severed in the waist, so he survived. He definitely lost, but he lived
i don't think Raiden *EXPLODING* literally in the end of the fight means his head and spine are still around tho...
@merc4higher unless another metal gear rising revengance game arises and Raiden get's some galaxy-strength super-power, he ain't winning against a warframe.
What a surprise, the sponsor's character won
@@Viking_Luchador maybe they just picked a character that could loose to a warframe. I mean, a character like Armstrong would be lightwork for a Warframe

Yep. Excalibur's my main character in Warframe. As soon as I saw this battle, I knew it was a wrap for Raiden. They did a good job at keeping the results accurate.

Excal and volt = easy mode
Mag before her refit = challenge
Excal is a good frame but Umbra is better excal.
Ummm he is better then regular Excalibur and he's basically a better looking Excalibur prime.@@whathuh6965
(Citations: The Sacrifice questline, Codex Fragment: Warframes)
There's also the aspect of modding, but I can fully understand why that particular subject was left unmentioned given just how many variables were already being accounted for with just the weapons.
dont forget the void
Agreed with the Atlas feat, that said them saying that even if Excal is 1% the strength of Atlas kinda makes me accept it. I did like the use of the Glaxion though.
They reduced the energy issues with the lotus surging the wf systems which in the introduction was infinite energy for a short time (it was in the old starting stage idk if its in the new version)
@@l4w1nc0l7 Void isn't really relevant here, since I'm more talking about physical capabilities.
The use of the Glaxion was genius. The writers are brilliant. I hadn't considered what happened until Wiz explained it.

Rhino vs a Space Marine
That one is another battle so truly gargantuan in scale i just can't commit to one side or the other... Really interesting considering rhino's iron skin has damage absorption which is thereafter converted to a layer of protective coating as strong as the damage absorbed (I do not know the exact % of this trade). I'm just glad we're finally getting some proper analysis videos on Warframe, I've been waiting for a game theory video for at least 4 years now...
Wukong with his... well everything
