I have always wanted a Harley but test drove a SDH and fell in love with the ride and bought one. I actually love the look of the headlight and design as it’s just different than all the others out there. I don’t regret my purchase at all, but wish I could have a RK as well! Working on it.
That's awesome mate, that's the beauty of motorcycles there is a style to suit everyone's taste 👌 haha not that's a plan mate, why not have both 😅 Thanks for watching 🤙
Good honest review mate. Myself, I own a Chieftain darkhorse. Indian have their centre of gravity nice and low and they handle awesome. And you're right about the 12v outlet. I charge all my stuff in that saddle bag. Cheers man.
Cheers mate, oh nice ! I loved reviewing that bike mate I had heaps of fun on it and I felt like the chieftan dark horse handled better than the HD RG even. Yeah it's the little things that add that extra value. Thanks for watching 🤙
Solid video mate the sdh is my dream bike. I do agree with most when they say the style is not the greatest. But with it being as naked as it is leaves alot of room for customization. Starting with that color 😂
Legend mate I appreciate your full support, hahaha that's abit of a whoops moment 😅🤣 I'll definitely keep throwing in different bikes here and there. Thanks for watching 🤙
Hi mate, another great review. I love the way you stay honest about the Bike you ride. I did sit on one of those at the dealership. I haven’t ridden one but my first thoughts were similar to yours. I’m 6.2 and I had to reach for the bars and I thought straight up it’s the shape of the seat it pushes you back. You can’t move forward at all. looking forward to your next video, cheers mate.
Thanks Greg, appreciate the support mate. I'll always be as honest as possible. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I thought I was trippen.... thanks for the feedback Greg. Thanks for watching
Mate I just bought my first Cruiser! its a sportster 883 xlc and watching you throw those big bikes around....man you got some kahoonas. The sporty feels massive to me as it is as iv just spend two years on a Monkey bike but I have owned various sport bikes nakeds and supermotos.
Oh wow congratulations that's awesome, I came off sporty/adventure/dirt bikes also ! I never looked twice at a cruise but I'm bloody loving it haha. Those 883s look awesome I'm still yet to ride one though. A monkey bike !!! That's awesome I hope you've still got it.
Cheers mate, glad you're enjoyed in the review's. The Triumph bobber look awesome ! If I can find one I'll definitely do a review mate. Thanks for watching 🤙
I had one of those in a satin white pearl colour... wish i never traded it for my Ultra but such is life, the bars are as simple as loosening the clamp and pull back on them till you are comfortable
Oh really mate, might have to get yourself another one ! I think I'd need to put some sort of riser/push back on it otherwise it would look weird played back even further but I get what you're saying.
I'm a Harley guy but don't mind the look. The only thing that looks strange is the passenger foot pegs coming out of the painted cover. Cheers again Matt great vlog
Good review mate, the look of the motor puts me off also. Think id prefer the trickle charger port to be hidden somewhere. Iv pretty much decided to get a Heritage 114 i dont think iv seen a review hint hint. Good work keep it up.
Cheers mate, 100% agree they look like Lego or something 😅🤣 also agree it's in abit of a weird spot. Awh man I've been trying to get onto a heritage for ages I bloody love the look of them. I'm working on it I promise, thanks for watching 🤙
I was hoping you'd do this video. I've been looking seriously at this bike but in the Mid North Coast NSW you don't really see any and the support network looks pretty poor. I was was particularly interested how the extra rear suspension travel compared. I've seen the seat being a complaint a lot on other reviews but I wasn't aware of the bar reach. Switch lockable panniers would be cool. I'd imagine the rear cylinder deactivation would also assist to prevent engine wear, the rear cylinder on a v-twin cops a pissling from heat.
@mickmccluand4677 haha I finally got around to it sorry for the wait. Yeah it is abit hard with indian over here I've heard but it can only get better right ? (Hopefully) the bikes suspension felt awesome i wouldn't say it was any better or worse than the road king I also did scrape the exhaust before the floor boards 🤔 I guess the reach also depends where you sit on the seat but a normal human sits back and I couldn't bend my elbows. Good points mate, I'll have to try it out another time and see if I can feel the heat difference too. Thanks for watching 🤙
I have a Chieftain and live on the NSW South Coast. My nearest indian dealer is a couple of hours away, but I have a abloke I use for services down here and he's great. As for the seat, yeah your arse does get a bit sore, but you have to wear the seat in just like aftermarket ones. I did a review on my bike after 5000km and the only gripe I had was the headlight. Nearly 8000km on it now a d I still have the standard seat.
Another good review mate...I've never ridden an Indian before, but I do like the look of some models...one of the bro's rides an Indian Challenger Ltd and he put TAB Zombies on it, sounds great and looks great too, but yeah nah, I'd prefer Harley all day every day but once again, it's personal preference...yeah, I agree with not liking the big ugly head light, looks like it belongs on a freight train and all that covering up (Dunno what you call it?) by the passengers pegs...looks yuk🤟🏽🍻
Cheers mate, I dig the sporty looking models (which I'm yet to review). Oh true the challenger was a fun bike to ride. Agree mate, harleys for me too 👌 Hahaha big stream train front end 😅 idk what it's called. Does look odd around there doesn't it.... Thanks for watching 🤙
I’ve been tossing up between these and a RK, loos like because of stretch to bars I’m short that the RK will be the one👌 if Million Dollar Bogan can reach I definitely can😂another great vid man
Oh wow well there ya go, I'm glad this vid was able to help you mate. Yeah it was a very weird feeling even me being 6"3 I had no bend in the elbow at all.... hahaha good point ! Thanks for watching 🤙
Personally i think it looks awesome also i do like the look of the engine. Spinning the tyre on a stock "bagger" that's pretty cool id say. Its all about the torque, horsepower is good for when you're talking shit at pub😁.Great honest review as usual you know that old saying "you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time "Cheers mate 🍺🍺🍺🍺🇳🇿
That's fair enough mate, it's all Personal preference that's why I love motorcycles there is something for everyone's taste. Haha it did shock me when that happened 😅 lol good point, bragging rights only 😅 very true, thanks for watching 🤙
Hello Matt! Liked, subscribed, commented, watched to the end! The amount of torque this motorbike has...I wonder if the horsepower is correct. It appears to be a very fast motorbike. Of course, you found that out during your zero to sixty burn out! LOL I think the look of the Indian is not that bad. Yes... you might want to change out the bars for a more comfortable ride. The seat might get better after some more miles on it. Color was pretty cool too. I agree with you about that huge out plastic frame around the head light. That doesn't look too good, but not too bad while you were riding it. Overall... a really awesome vlog on an interesting motorbike! You're the best Matt!!! John...
G'day John! You bloody legend I appreciate that mate. Yeah I agree with you John I'm not sure if it is. It's abit frustrating when I can't get the right figure of the indian website they don't even have it listed.... Haha that power skid did shock me 🤣 Yeah overall it was a good bike and a good option for the cruiser riders to have. Thanks for watching 🤙
Hell yeah !!! Ooooh yeah good choice I'll definitely be trying to do one of those soon as I know you guys have requested it a few times 😅 hope you guys had a good chrissy and new years. Thanks for watching 🤙
Hey Matt, Good review, I'm with you not a fan of the look, just something about the Indians, not sure the Scout Bobber is ok. HD for me every day mate. 👊😎👊
Cheers mate, yeah they have abit of a Lego/plastic look to them but at the same time it was fun to ride I enjoyed that aspect. I agree mate thanks for watching 🤙
Each to their own. Am sure they're nice bikes, and I love bikes generally just for being bikes, but the looks don't do it for me either - especially with their other models and all the studded leather etc 😂 The front fender, the headlight, and the whole area around the pillion pegs (does anyone else think they look a bit like a bicycle crank and pedal?)... Yeah, just looks wrong for me.
Yeeeah I agree it does look like Lego even the engine looks like plastic? I cant force myself to like the looks but it did ride great! Hopefully soon not too sure, gdad lives so far away can be abit hard to plan. Alot of the time can be easier just to film. By myself as I can take as much time as I want to film and get shots etc etc (But I'm sure we will ride together soon) Thanks for watching 🤙
It has some great features like the power in the bag and this saddle bags looks great but why have this when you can have the bike it’s trying to imitate? 😂 great review as always!
Yeah it sure does bro, definitely a cool option but I agree for only 4k more.... you get a real blokes bike that looks alot better, cheers bro thanks for watching 🤙
Appreciate different reviews. As cheap alternative to big cruisers, for us budget types. I'm looking into Yami Vstar 1300A... see what ya think. Cheers Brother ! 👍👍
100% agree mate, it can be irrelevant to an extent but I like to know so I can tell you guys 😅 but it felt good either way and that's what it's about. Thanks for watching 🤙
@@Gnarly_Harley Yes I agree mate , I love my 2020 RKS , but I am surprised HD did not update it for this year with the new tail lights and bags like the other tourers .... still waiting for your Gold wing Bagger review to see what you think ??? or maybe a FJR 1300 cop bike ;-)
Your trippn bro. This Springfield has every bit of sleek, muscular, beefy lines as the RK and packed features that you'd have to throw 5k at an HD out the gate.
@oldsparky14 the 2 places that I ride demo bikes at don't have the gold wing unfortunately but ill keep an eye out. And the fjr is cool as, if you watched my vlog heading down south a fella named Sean (he travelled around aus on a trike) he has a fjr and bloody loves it !
No nothing about em 82hp for 116 cube 😂 looks alright tho 😅 just ride the cxnt bruv dont worry bout the specs and what people think 😂 like ya said get in and ride it 🍻

Cool something different but not for me the gauge panel on the tank is pretty ugly and styling isn’t the best, might be a quality bike but not my quality. I would go for a Metric Japanese Cruiser over an Indian if I had too. Once you go Harley it’s very hard to go to something else

I’m not a fan of Indians bigger bikes, I think the styling misses the mark for me. Indians smaller bikes blow Harley out of the water for me though, love the scouts over the new Harley Sportsters
@ oh yeah, the Chief lineup looks pretty sick as well. Bought myself a Low Rider ST, Harley Softails got the edge just because of the aftermarket support. If I could customize a Chief just as easily as a softail I’d probably have bought a Chief. Love the channel sir, keep up the great content! Cheers from Houston Texas
@tomoates8568 ooooh one of my favourites!!! I'd love a low rider ST some day ! The aftermarket support is next level for harley isn't it. Indian is very behind unfortunately. Thanks so much I really appreciate the support 🙏
100% agree even the motor looks plastic it does my head in, I mentioned that on the last indian review but forgot to on this one. Yeeeeah... not a fan. Yeah that's what I could find anyway, it seemed to feel like more but the 0-100 made sense if that figure I found is true. Indian don't list it on there site unfortunately Thanks for watching 🤙

Cheers mate, awesome well it's a bloody cracking bike that's for sure. Cool to have options for cruiser's. Appreciate that thanks for watching 🤙
Beautiful bike! The lines, the color contrast, that motor! Sheesh! My next bike will be an Indian!
She was a cracking bike I did have alot of fun ! It's my favourite indian I've ridden so far 😁 thanks for watching 🤙

I have ridden a few Indian motorcycles now. I was a big fan of the Sport Chief. But the Roadmaster is one very comfy bike.
Nice review.
The indian sport chief has been requested alot so I'll have to five it a crack. Cheers, thanks for watching 🤙

You're welcome, I'll see what I can do 😅 if they have It as a demo I can usually do a review 😁 thanks for watching 🤙
Good review, always throws me with the Indian speedo is the 100kph mark is so far around the dial compared to the HD which is at the 12 o'clock mark.
Yeah that's a massive spin out haha looks like you're going 160 instead of 100 🤣 12 o'clock makes way more sense in my opinion 😅

Next one should be an Indian Sport Cheif, low-key looking at getting one, but want all the pros and cons first. 😂

Nice honest reveiw mate.
A reveiw on the indian sport cheif be worth while as its sort of indians lowrider s/ dyna comparison
Cheers mate, oooh thats a highly requested one, I'll definitely have to do the sport chief asap. Thanks for watching 🤙

Thanks mate, I appreciate the support. Ahh yeah that's a good idea mate I'll see if I can find one to review. Thanks for watching 🤙
Check out a Yamaha Stryker or Raider. U won't regret it.
Great review. I am with you on Indian. I like em, but, not for me, in regards to looks. Engine arwa and HUGE light shroud isn't it
Cheers mate, yeeeah it's just not our taste is it 😅 the engine looks like Lego !
The headlight cover and front mudguard look a bit shit. Enjoyed the review, I think it is great testing the competition.
I agree with you, and the motor looks like Lego to me that's one thing i can't seem to get over 🤔 I appreciate that, thanks for watching 🤙
You obviously haven't seen the front mudguards on the Harry Davidson clothing company propaganda machine bikes, they look disgusting.
TBH I'm not even interested in top end HP. Torque is where its at on the street, more fun within the limits and keeping your licence.
100% agree mate, it can be irrelevant to an extent but I like to know so I can tell you guys 😅 but it felt good either way and that's what it's about. Thanks for watching 🤙
Agree HD RKS still have the edge in the looks , the indian headlight Necel and bags looks cheap

Haha Lego. Nah mate you doing well keeping an open mind is good anything with two wheels and a motor is fun. Even a postie bike!!
From all the reviews I've seen, they're great bikes and owners love them, but the styling doesn't suit my taste.
It is definitely a great bike but I agree the styling is just not for me either. Thanks for watching 🤙

You would know punishment breath
There Polaris, no don't like the look
True Paul, yeah it's not as blokes as the HD RK is it... thanks for watching 🤙
Moron.
