Dont forget that you need to run your FCLK at half your memory bandwidth example (3733Mhz 1867 FCLK) if you're using a ryzen CPU. Undervolting is typically fine it's when you start overvolting then it gets dangerous. Also overclocking memory and messing with timings can cause corruption.. I've had to run a few sfc/scannow and DSIM restore a few times because of instability crashes lol
Ok im not a tech guy but who the fuck makes their memory run at half the performence?
@Sunkeny okay, but that’s only on ryzen.. this was specifically an intel chip. Why would you bother to put this info here when it doesn’t apply at all?
I have a Ryzen chip and I thought it was helpful
@@Kben01 To advise someone who has a Ryzen CPU probably.
@@Kben01 he literally says if you have a ryzen cpu
Im always trying to get your bios because on my x470 gaming pro carbon i just have the regular click bios that looks no way near yours mine is just called msi click bios and i recall having access to the one shown on your tutorial and dunno if my version is the latest or not im lost tbh.
Try EZ mode top right
If you have overheating issues, you can trey tuning power options in windows for the cpu usage. Also would suggest to clean and reapply the thermal paste.
For some reason i always lower it down to 98%, giving it some room, since i mainly play older games.
HELLO MAZZ! I commented on The Grayes Video looking for advise but he never replied!!! So am posting the same question to you Sir! You are my go to guy for MSI! I recently built my last system with an MSI Z390-A Pro with an Intel Pentium Gold Coffee Lake G5400 Duel Core 3.7Ghz Processor! 64 GB DDR4 3200 Ram and a GeForce GTX 1650 Video Card! I use this system for Adobe Video Editing! Besides ticking the XMP & GAME BOOST button with FAN set to Auto, what else can I do to Overclock this system? I was told by MSI that This is basically a budget gaming board that cannot be manually overclocked? Any advise Would be greatly appreciated!
@@cactusstudiossouth I personally avoid the OC stuff, i try to buy the powers i need by default. Except the XMP profile, my MSI board has CPU boost button for the cpu, but i am on Ryzen platform. I dont recall any issues with MSI products, it seems to be that haters have big mouth.
When you decide to upgrade your system you would only need new motherboard and cpu, if you stick with Intel you can nowdays have smooth Windows 10 experience with 9000 series if you have DX12 games in mind, since you are using 1650 that will serve you a while...
One thing you can check that your PCIE is set properly, i think 1650 is 3.0 ?
@@cactusstudiossouth What games in mind ?
That cpu is just weird combo with the rest.
Hi, I got an alert saying "CPU overheating alert! Please check CPU cooler is firmly attached for working properly." I haven't even get to windows yet, it was on bios.
But my CPU fan is installed properly, I already tried reinstall it before without reapply the thermal.
Can you help me out?

What thermal paste used ?
Did you apply it properly ?

my motherboard msi mpg z590 gaming force. how can i close game boost on cpu ?
I have a question. So instead game boast, mine said creator genie. My XMP profile 1 is on but my CPU isn’t. Why is that? I tried to unplug and replugged
You said “everything’s fine aslong as you don’t change voltage” im so lost on what you mean there, what settings change the voltage so I know not to change them. Does changing the CPU Game Boost to on and your CPU cooler tuner to water cooling (if you have one) does that effect Voltage?
Mine always goes to a black screen and it says overclock failed with an i9 10850k and 3600mhz but i can't get to 3600mhz
I cant click in unser Game boost on CPU only xmp Profile 1 and 2. Do i have to enable anything to unlock this?

I have been trying to figure out why I cannot access XMP Profile 2. As like the video screen, it is blacked out. Does anybody know how to make it come "alive?" No amount of Googling or ChatGPT'ng has come to a resolution.
I can't disable over clock I have exact same bios as yours In the video plz help all I'm getting is normal or expert as a option

I can't, for the life of me, figure out what is going on with my RAM. I have an MSI board. I enable XMP (the RAM is rated at 3200Mhz), and no matter what the system will not POST until I clear CMOS.
Have you figured it out yet ? 😂
@@christopheralvarez1090 I did, actually. To run 4 sticks I had to buy 4 at the same time. Reading other's issues sometimes, even the exact same brand of RAM just doesn't work together if bought separately. I guess the actual modules differ enough if they have different manufacturers.
