Great review, as the two HP batteries are actually the same physical size. I thought they had mislabeled and sold me two 4ah batteries. I was going to run a similar test to make sure, as I was expecting the 6ah HP to be much bigger in size. Don't like getting cheated. Your test confirmed it's worth it, and now with both being the same physical size, the 6ah is worth having over the 4.

I notice the newer 6a/hr HP battery is a bit smaller than their older version of the same 6a/hr HP battery. That's awesome, as long as the updated version stores the same amount of energy and is as powerful and good as the older version. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 By the way, Home Depot and even Amazon often run really excellent sales on Ryobi items. It's always worthwhile to keep checking occasionally for these special bargain prices and then make your purchases. Ryobi products haven't let us down as basic homeowners & semi professional handymen. Stay informed stay healthy and happy 😊

Depends on what your doing. I run 6ah in the pet stick vac. I can normally finish the job with the 6ah vs the 4ah

I picked up two 3 packs of HPs (2, 4, 6 ah plus charge)r for $200 at HD. Some stores have leftovers from Ryobi Days on clearance. No free tools, though, with purchase.

Not sure why anyone would pay $120 for a hp battery. The normal 4AH ones are just fine and a third the cost.

On the hp tools.. it does provide more power, but yes to your point, I wouldn't pay more..

Your own runs times actually showed a 46% longer run time for the 6ah battery not 34% 😮
