I'm using the Model I at the moment, but have definitely eyeballed the MZ1 in the past few months.
This is the most underrated tech channel I've ever seen on YT.

I'm starting to love the clutch aspect of my razor mouse, even though I've had it for a few years and didn't know about it. Now I want to find a mouse that maybe has more buttons on it, particularly one with a well placed button that allows me to engage clutch without taking away from my ability to use the mouse. I have the wireless Death Adder right now and the only button that makes sense for clutch is the bottom side button, but engaging it slightly compromises my grip of the mouse and ability to use it.
Awesome review, thanks man! I will probably pick DAv3 over Viper though, personally cannot stand the symmetrical design on something I need to use over long hours.

Hey man, I love your reviews as always, the production quality will never cease to amaze me, but is there just no love for heavy mice in the market? I've always been able to land more precise hits with all the weights in my old old g502 than the new lighter stuff, and I just can't seem to get over this hill.
Anyways, I really appreciate you mentioning that all the mice in the vid are going to be light at the start so I didn't have my expectations high.
oddly enough the mz1 is my main. I spent a lot of time going through mice to find the right one as my hand is some what gimped from a dog bite. Got this on a whim even though it didn't look like it would actually work and since nothing else felt good and so glad I did.
took a couple of hours to get used to the MZ1 but after that, my aiming felt so effortless. The single worst mouse I've used, in terms of performance is the superlight. I used to play with the model o minus but chose to pick up the Superlight, which I found to be absolutely massive. I found that with a smaller mouse, I grip further back allowing me to aim with just my fingers for micro-adjustments, rather than my whole hand at once. I'd highly recommend people try a small mouse.
what small mouse you recommend or use daily? I'm looking at buying the Razer Viper Mini v2

I think we can safely say there’s little to no gain in jumping mice if you like the shape. We had a mini boom where everyone pretended to invent the wheel but now we are set.

It's insane how dense and concise the content on your videos can be at such a high production level.
Really hope Xtrfy release an updated version of mz1w, with some latest tech applied on like 4k polling and newer sensor/motion sync . Especially the 4k. I'm rly addicted to it even for fact that it only make me "feel" better but not necessarily "play" better. That will be an insta buy for me.

Mouse innovations have come a long way the past couple of years, the gliders around the sensors and the wireless with close to no input are 2 upgrades I would like to make. Are there multiple versions of the new death adder or is plastic without rubber grip the only option for the latest release?
It comes with extra rubber grips if you want to add them
Hell yeah, HSK+/Pro is such a cool mouse, MZ1 still seems slept on, AWESOME vid as always.
Am so hype to grab one of these. I'm on a G305 and my hand just cramps up after long sessions. I haven't played on something as big as a DAV3 in a long time, so I'm not sure If I'm gonna go with that, or the Viper V2.

Love your videos! I've been watching for 4 years at this point. I wanted to know your thoughts on Glorious. I have a wireless model D with the ceramic feet on their standard desk sized mouse pad. Always loved it and considered myself having pretty high-level aim. I have a similar hand size and was wondering what you think about the model d wireless with those feet compared to some of the options on this list. Hope to hear from you!

Absolutely loved the MZ1's shape and overall feel but had to get it replaced within 2 months due to a defective left click and subsequently a refund after the replacement showed the same problems after 4 days of use. Super unfortunate that I couldn't keep using it.
Edit for clarity: The issue I had could be loosely described as double clicking. When I held the mouse button down, I could slightly reduce the pressure I was applying and it would sometimes input another 7-8 times. This was easily reproduceable at 12ms debounce
Question arise the, Is it a shell problem or a switch problem?
You can configure the debounce time of the mouse which can solve that problem. Should be described in the manual if you care to try again
@@papayaaa6033 As stated in my original comment, this was easily reproduceable at 12 ms debounce (the maximum for the mouse) which is pretty bad
Edit: I've already severed the battery on my product and received a refund so I wouldn't be able to try anything new with it if I wanted to. I'll probably still give it another shot once I get more disposable income since it was by far my favorite mouse in terms of overall feel.
Been looking for a new wireless mouse that's fully ambi (right side buttons) that's actually in stock and available. Market has been pretty dang dry since the Razer Viper Ultimate. Looks like I'll be waiting another year, oh well! Shoutout to Pwnage for their attempt with the Ultra Custom Ambi one.

Just got my Aerox 5 Wireless. I need the additional button for my FF14 grind and the honeycomb style really helps since I tend to sweat a lot when gripping my mouse due to the fact that I live in Asia. I got 2 Ace as well in Valorant.

im really hyped for 2023, but couldnt care less because the lamzu atlantis just did it for me this year. its the first mouse since the sensei i grabbed a second copy of because i liked it so much and lo and behold, they are super similar im shape. i might get a xm2w when it releases in 2024 though.

As a very casual fps player, going for any of those mices would be a downgrade for my needs. But i like the wireless, weight, etc, options those mices provide.
Aerox 9 got my attention, but i did not go for it (yet?) because i would like a white option.
Very solid releases lately, I own every mouse on this list (Except DAV3) and love using each one. I think the MZ1 wireless is slept on a ton and is one of those mice it does take time to get used to, I love the unique shape of it. Great review as always B, cant wait to see what comes in 2023 for periperhals and your content.

I have the Lamzu Atantis & the mini I also own the Finalmouse and i have to say the Lamzu Atlantis is my #1 gaming mice it just ticks all the boxes and the shape is incredible for claw!

at 6:28 .. Ohhh hell ya I could tell right away! 144hz coming from 60z was like stepping into the game in terms of smootheness.
ive used many of these... v2 pro, dav3 and others that arent in the list like outset ax, np01 and finally the gpx and i always find myself going back to the gpx i palm grip and i yet still couldnt get used to the dav3. gpx is just top of the line
these are all bangers. having just started using the wired MZ1, i can definitely say my next mouse purchase is going to be the wireless one
they def gotta do something about the coating on the mz1, I had the same experience great mouse for aiming but the top of the mouse gets more slippy with some time on the mouse. grips would be nice. Great mouse tho couldn't recommend enough if it fits your hands

I dont think i fully realized how impressive the starlight mice were in terms of weight until the only thing close is basically half a mouse from g wolves
The Viper V2 Pro is pretty much my dream mouse, objectively great specs and subjectively great shape, super happy with it. Still would like to try a good mouse with an adjustable sensor some day, but other than that I welcome a break from The Search™ in regarding this particular peripheral. ✌
Do you own it? The shape is not the best tbh, I have a dav3 and i think I would like a mini version of the shape.
@@zappyFPS i own the Viper V2 PRO and it fits my hand perfect the side buttons are not great i think they are small but other than that its a good mouse
Viper v2 pro is the most best sensor as far as I know I might be wrong, too.
Just the shape is not for everyone.

would be nice if you compared top mouses from like 5 and 10 years ago to see if there is any actual gaming difference as I feel like it became more of a spec sheet game nowadays.
Exactly what I think. Any of the top tier ones feel identical outside of the shape and buttons. It's really more about a design preference than difference in performance.

Kinda funny the EGG XM2W that went in preorder in February 2022 didn’t even launch in time to get reviewed in 2022. Just a huge misstep from them.

LGG Saturn hasn't left my desk since I bought it either and I used to swap pads near daily. Loved it with glass skates on the xm1r and loving it still with the lamzu and stock skates

Any recommendations for a wireless equivalent of the Viper Mini? I’ve been through 3 of them now, I keep killing the scroll wheel click, and would like to switch to wireless instead of buying another wired model. I have relatively small hands so the Mini fits me perfect.
Agreed, I'm a former semi pro Overwatch player now going pro in Naraka, and the viper v2/death adder are fantastic. DO NOT SLEEP ON OPTICAL MOUSE SWITCHES.
I was going to buy a finalmouse last legend medium but after hearing about all of the qc issues I instead went with a Deathadder v3 pro and I'm so happy I did. Since I'm canadian the finalmouse would've ended up costing around $300, for that price the mouse should be beyond perfect so I didn't want to take that chance.

imagine me that for the SL12 Tenz after paying 70 euros for customs in Italy I had to send it back to America for repair (double click) and pay another 15 euros for customs :D

@@97andreaas I live in Iceland and got a Starlight which I had to send in for a repair. Now 6 months later it has 2 new issues (auto scrolls randomly and sometimes loses signal), hate myself for ignoring comments about qc issues

quick note on the LGG Saturn, I don't have the pro so it may be different, but to me the Saturn feels like a carbon copy of my g sr se deep blue. so if you dont like that pad don't buy it but if youre one of the many people disappointed by the new rouge the Saturn would make a good replacement for it imo.
hmmm, I really liked the Steelseries Prime Mini. Surprised how it didn't make the list. My next choice of mouse would be DeathAdder v3 Pro, dying to try it out
my red x2 started double clicking 2 months in x.x... its great to see pulsar move to opticals but sad to see we were just a beta test on their way there.

idk man... hsk+ 4k/hsk pro 4k are insane. I had to switch to the hsk+ cause the pro is way too small for my hand, but plus feels great....might have to pick up the tenz tho, its pretty

Love my MZ1. In my experience, Xtrfy customer service is top notch. I would love to try a Finalmouse but they’re always sold out before I even know they’re available haha, guess I don’t need one that bad 😜
I still have 2 medium sized brand new in box and sealed of the Starlight Pro - The Last legend and a Starlight Pro - TenZ Finalmouse.
Lemme know if you're interested in one of them, I'm not like a reseller or anything, they just happened to completely lose my order two times in a row so I ended up finally getting my TenZ, and then a guaranteed spot to buy the Last Legend so I received that one last month but I have still been using my Finalmouse - Ninja Air58 and haven't even touched the 2 brand new Finalmouse models haha.

What grip do you use with the mz1? I'm assuming fingertip and RJN uses a flat fingertip grip I've never seen in his video when he uses it
When the deathadder came out people talked so much crap about it feeling cheap and what not. To this day I still use that same v1 I bought back in 2017 or 2018 at work and my home rig uses the wireless v3. Hands down the best mouse all around.
Can you suggest best large gaming for large hands? Being 6ft5in, most mouse are very uncomfortable for long gaming sessions.

What a good review for me it's about performance I don't mind shape but features are also important. I have been enjoying my Naga pro V1 for the last 2years yeah it's heavy.but you add lexip ceramic feet and it's not so bad at all. I'm a button guy, I'd like a lightweight button mania, high performance mouse yet razer just won't do it and it shows with the naga pro V2 they just make a v1 with barely any new features or updates I'm quiet really irritated at that. They could've added 8k put the weight down, with lighter plastics, even give it glass skates....really upset at how they went about it.
Those dusk 2's are amazeballs for gaming. I use those and moonriver 2's for mobile (steam deck), and s8 or hd800S for desktop. What tips do you have on those?

Yo would love to have seen you talk about DPI deviation in this video, its something not mentioned a lot and needs to be talked about. The last 2 mouses you mention are some of the few that don't suffer from this problem. Great video tho and I think Logitech is the Toyota of gaming, they'll get there after 10 years of the same thing
As a FK-2 fan, I'm very excited for the X2 Mini and Vaxee XE Wireless. Don't think I will be going back to Zowie with their insane pricing.
x2 mini is very different from the fk2, I'd liken the x2 mini to a smaller s2 more.
