What Actually Happened at Paris Fashion Week BESIDES the Coperni Bella Hadid Spray Dress
HTML-код

- Aerosol spray is the new dress it seems this season in Paris, but what you may not have heard about is Thom Browne’s one act play, Heliot Emil’s industrial elegance, Doja Cat’s golden appearance at A.W.A.K.E Mode, Issey’s moving performance, and Cher sitting across from me at Ann Demeulemeester. Oh, and I also got to go to an Undercover show. See? A lot more than just a Bella Hadid Coperni moment, and much more to come in the next 2 parts.

Correction: at 20 minutes and 46 seconds, I attribute a SS23 Ann D look to Margiela SS1990, it is in fact a reference to Ann D SS1997.

I love seeing the designers faces light up when they talk about their pieces ☺️
Utter garbage….laughable hideous clothes. …..Designers on drugs 😂😂😂
Ropa fea
Thanks for the work you do there are not a lot of people on RUclips covering shows and designers like this we really appreciate it ❤
Check out Loic Prigent’s videos to understand what true fashion reporting is all abouth. Bliss is all about fashion blahblah. No idea what he’s trying to say and his interviews with designers are even worse. Say what? Have I learned anything from this video? Totally nothing. Did you?
Come on man, be more respectful to Bliss’s work. Loïc interview and videos are not the same and way less deeper into the fashion universe than Bliss! In my opinion these videos are complete each other. Loïc let us see how it’s going in big show such as Jacquemus, Chanel, Givenchy etc and about all this influence world (which I don’t care but I still love watching Loïc report). On the other hand you have Bliss who is really focus on creation, story, fabric and designer (what is really exciting for me) and maybe less well known designer but all very talented (there is a lot of small designer, and i discover a lot of good creation, stories).
And what I love with Bliss it’s its passion for fashion. We all know that he does not living with its videos and report. It’s purely about passion and try to bring something unseen yet in this journalism area / RUclips game (where there is still much to create).
You can’t be so rhude and disrespectful about someone who work hard, without counting its hours and not doing this for money, but for its passion and makes fashion journalism evolve.
As I said if you really like fashion you should be happy that we have Loïc and Bliss to capture fashion from every angle. You can have a preference but please don’t be disrespectful about someone who dedicating his life to his passion without earning enough money to make a living out of it.
@@Nurgle018 thanks for taking your time to share your point of view!
@@ferryschoew7656this is extremely disrespectful,at the end of the day bliss puts a lot of effort and time into his channel,I don’t even think you should compare between the two. loic prigent is well known in the industry and has been working for many years,he has access to most fashion shows.on the other hand, bliss foster is a young guy who has been in the industry for only a few years,he’s not very well known in the industry yet and simply doesn’t have the access yet to the bigger shows of the more famous brands, bliss has actually made a lot of progress with his connections inside the Industry and is doing pretty well for such a short time in the industry.comparing him to loic prigent would be like comparing a well known fashion designer to a fashion student who just graduated and is still making his way in the industry.please don’t be rude to the people who bring you content for free.
We love the hard work you invest into our gruelling fashion addictions, you’re the best bliss
you're definitely going to become a behind the scene staple with access so excited to continue to watch your growth and journey in fashion bliss!
I love that you pointed out your favorite dress and why. You’re so on the money with that description. That drape, and the way it fits, the sheen, the translucence. Are those pockets?! It was elegant and sensual with subtlety.
I have to give this a rewatch.
44 shows in one week is INSANE
Bliss, it's amazing to see your journey deeper and deeper into the industry while enabling us all to simultaneously increase the depth of our own relationships to fashion. I'm grateful for being made to think more about this particular palette of self expression and identity, and you and your content have contributed more to that for me than any one other. Best fashion journalist and analyst in the game!
The work Bliss puts in these and making videos of his adventures is just iconic, the running between the runway shows with this mike is a mood lol
I’m glad it’s worth all the strange looks I get 😆
Sooo outlandish soooo chic
apparently the cellulose applicator's spray is _really_ cold though, so props to her for not flinching in the front of the ten million cameras
I'm enjoying being surprised by this channel with every new upload, but if you do take requests, I would LOVE a Sacai deep dive...
Unrelated but in a few months binging your content I've turned a minimum wage thrifted closet from dull and incoherent to a technicolour space opera and I cannot thank you enough for how much you've inspired that and helped me to present more truthfully and make like-minded friends🧡
Such a good coverage!! Seing you from afar in the streets of Paris gave me so much joy: you seemed like you had found your mission and it was so cute to see!
Ruohan is awesome! Thanks for beautiful ep1 of fashion week bliss. Love
Ok ok I’m getting off my freeloader shit that’s some impressive work you put in for all this coverage
Never thought I would see Bliss and Julius in one video. Love your coverages of Pfw so intimate and interesting to get the designers visions. Thank you for keeping us up to date as always!!
he wasn’t in awake mode at the a.w.a.k.e. mode show😳
Incredible work and coverage!!
I love you PFW videos and everytime I see the runways I think about when you'll release your report on them! Can't wait to see the next ones
Fantastic video Bliss first time i get references on clothes, thanks for your work ❤️
Our boii Kevin! So happy to see him, your previous interview with him was incredibly interesting and this one was wonderful too
Wow! I don't know how I landed here but I am fascinated by these young artists and how open you are to let them speak and express themselves. That dress you loved at first glance I thought was ugly but after listening to you, now I see it as GLORIOUS! I will keep my eye on Rouhan.
Now this coverage is what I am used to see from you. Not drinking a whole glass of gulping water. Thanks for bringing back the classy posts I am used to seeing from you. Thank you.
👀 they only have tiny glasses in Europe
Bliss, you are like the prince of fashion critics. Love your intelligent insights and how you draw out meaning, form, and function from your chats. And you always look fabulous too. Very interesting video. I love some of those pieces.
Love the ability to really focus on the clothes, fabric, structure etc with the slow steadiness of the Ruohan show, big thanks to them for that and great interviews generally. Thanks, I'm a newby to your channel but now a subscriber.
Such an incredible video, thank you. You are single handedly the only reason I pay attention to fashion
Thanks for sharing, we are looking forward to watching this series
amazing work, great video 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much for the in depth coverages. Love to see what you love, you inspire!
Today I learned what textiles are, thanks Bliss x
The models running at the end of Issey Miyake 🫶🏼🤍🦋
now im going start to look up the full Undercover runaway! i need to see all of the looks! im rlly vibing with the styling of devil horn hair, crying makeup, and raw stones for jewelry. i liked how delicate pale flowers that were paired with the slashes.
Watched with great interest. Thank you and especially for highlighting the young and the less spoken of! I love discovering new names with you.
Never heard of RUOHAN, but wow, felt in love, went on the website, everything sold out! Great work, Bliss, you're my favorite
omg I just realized the pockets look like the first ever, historical pockets from a few hundred years ago or whatever, and I didn’t know we can just bring them back? I’m 100% here for it. (I am so far from the fashion world that I feel like an imposter, so apologies for my ignorance. Thank you for your work!)
Excellent coverage... Again! You're commentary is Tim Blanks for me.... 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Great content Bliss
Thanks for the amazing coverage!
Brilliant , informative, excellent content . Well done and thank you 😊
Bliss you are a blessing ❤
Absolutely amazing. Love your channel just amazing ! Giving me light at the end of my tunnel.
love this!
This video was so amazing. I am really inspired
this video is amazing and unlike anthing i’ve seen on youtube. keep doing what you’re doing i am definitely subscribing now!
Bliss, your metallic nails are fantastic
Its exciting how designers are utilizing movement/different styles of walk in order to further explore the world they are creating with each collection.
Kevin Germanier is a ball of light!
Great to meet you and chat briefly at Ruohan..I even have a brief appearance in your excellent video at 7.35....fame at last 😅
Satoshi made me cry tears of joy for the beauty that is shared and his thankfulness to every time and person who inspired his passion. I think Miyake would be cool with a whole set dedicated to him, but would have wanted more than to just see his 'stuff running around'...
This is beautiful!
Ruohan's work is wonderful! Thank you for introducing me to her!
Lol that definitely is Tyga sitting across from you in the Ann Demeulemeester show 😂
satoshi's sentiment is so touching. i feel jun coz also still having a hard time coz of the pandemic (in the third world it's still going). j'adore sacai! and so impressed by olivier's emotional attachment to his past work, beautifully spliced together now. thankyou!
This was a fantastic video - thank you so much. I'm coming at all of this from the perspective of dress history. I'm planning on going back and get my MA in Art History (wedging it as much as possible into specializing in fashion from the 30's to 50's). Thank you for creating these wonderful crib notes as to what's happening here in the contemporary.
- Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
It always brightens my day to hear from Cathy and Steve 😌
The 30s and the 50s were a great time for fashion! I need to look more into myself! I’ll likely have to learn from you 💫💫
@@BlissFoster Fabulous, Sir. I look forward to it.
During lockdown I taught myself how to sew - with the dream of building my own wardrobe with things that actually fit me. Still working on the fit component of that equation... Anywho... There's an online sewing competition, run by the online sewing resource, Foundations Revealed that will be happening in Feb with the theme of nature. I plan on creating a variation on a 1940's cape pattern to adapt to my own interpretation of the shocking pink Schiaparelli cape. The embroidery conversation is to represent 'the long goodbye' we're going through with Winter. The finished piece can possibly be used as a conversation starter with Administrative school people. With the added bonus that I can sweep into any room like the Queen of Shebaa...
_Side note_ - the hate-on between Channel and Schiaparelli could fill a Masters Thesis... then you contrast their post-war careers...
Your commitment is admirable.
Dam the Satoshi quote made me cry
@9:57 totally felt that exchange 😁
god i love this channel
Ok but where did you get your nails done Bliss! The chrome is fire
Love back at you!!!!!!!!!
🥰🥰
Loving ALL the pockets!

“FULL TIME” Fashion Critic….Way to Go Bliss!!!
Ruohan Nie favorite discovery.
Undercover was Beautiful
great choices.
what's with the snapping of the fingers 😂
Bliss. What is that insane nail polish? Please do tell 🖤
opera and techno, for a fashion show. groundbreaking.
Opera and *AI generated* techno. Lowkey kinda actually groundbreaking 🤷
Thank you so much for your hard work at this Paris Fashion Week !
The Undercover collection personally make me feel like the models had to dig up a passed loved one and had to put on their clothes that has been rotting in a grave. Might sound a bit dull but i think the show actually manages to portray the bright side of it, especially with the ball like dress with the lemons, not as beautiful as it was before but carrying life. Maybe I am analyzing too much but the blue ball dress also reminds me of the color dead people turn to a few days into decay (sorry little gross here).
IDK if you ever gonna read that comment anyway I really wanted to share my view on the show as it really deeply spoke to me.
Love
Everything out of that first designers mouth was air. The blonde fellow. I love Rouhan❤ Everything she said makes sense. I have an obsession with the different textures of fabrics. The girls crying with the slashed clothing is not an image I EVER want to see again! The patchwork was beautiful. Maybe it should be called panel work. Something more accurate since they are not truly patches. They are intentional panels stitched together to make a more stained glass pattern.
PS. I love the same dress as you from what I have seen. It’s absolutely stunning ❤ I would actually wear that!
goddddd the undercover show was amazing
white hot intensity of a thousand suns BAHAHAA amazing video :) excited for that Thom Browne deep dive :P
You going in for the American hug when meeting Europeans is cute
thank you
What if Margiela himself is secretly on the design team at Ann Demeulemeester? 😳
That’s why they were so secretive!! 😳🤯
Germanier is such a sweetheart ♡
"indastrial elegant"! 1:52
My favorite was A.W.A.K.E I could definitely see my style with that collection.
btw, 100 brands in Paris, would that mean there are about 400 brands totals in the main fashion shows each year?
Good question! I don’t know if the other main fashion weeks have as many events. There might be more!
Did you get a chance to see Jorge Contreras? Mexican designer who presented wedding dresses
by. like, you know like ,like you know ,like super beatiful, completeely disregarding what it lookslike, like you know like..
julius juul is such a cool guy
lovee it
Heliot Emil is such an interesting brand. When I first heard about them I thought they were another brand jumping on the Alyx style hype train, but they have really surprised me with their designs and they only keep getting better.
I still think that Söderberg is the fashion brand/house that pulls of the leather+hardware edgy dystopian future minimalist brutalist aesthetic in the best way. They are not too commercial without going too avant garde and abstract. Really beautiful balance of brutalism and delicate elegance i recommend checking out Söderberg (designer of Obscur).
@@karigrandii Söderberg is too Alyx-like for me.

Amazing coverage. Very professional...aaaand Kevin can get it...just sayin'
I just want to correct you on ibe term .
Monochrome meens one hue , one color and Achromatic is no hue .
So when you are talking about black and white collections you call them Achromatic .
And a collection is monochromatic when when there is at least one color but no more .
I love corrections, thank you 💫💫
prototypes was the best show
Seems to me that fashion is getting more accessible and high art, less so
dont care what designer have to say about how they contrcut the show. dont care about watching your hair in the wind. SHOW ME THE CLOTHES
Germanier like you as a guy, as a men, as a more than journalist i officially ship you both
I guess you didnt make it into the freaky parties... This is almost clickbait but its fine, im still watching it.
You would do well at one of those Mason parties, I have been to a few myself and seen similar faces.
the clickbait😭😭
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow😍
I don't see many people buying these creations ! I hate to say , but the collections are hideous ! I can say that because I was a fashion designer , pattern drafter and atelier for many years .
