The song is great, very typical and nostalgic of the 80s pop rock.... i guess Oedo808 was not popular in Japan, so the song was underrated and forgotten....
As much as I really like the UK opening, the original opening and ending seem to capture the original, darker, less snazzy iteration of cyber city that the creators were going for

M.E. GOKU and CYBER CITY OEDO 808 were so very UNDER-RATED. I really wish that studio madhouse would continue the storyline of these awesome anime OVA's YES THE MUSIC IS AWESOME!!! I love Fighting in the Danger and the Ending Song to CYBER CITY (It was so sad)
