I always wondered how they did that glowing effect. It was SUPER common in this era of anime and it really fits the whole mood/vibe of that era of anime, alongside high-contrast imagery and monochromatic scenes. This era of animation really needs a renaissance.

that glowing effect at 1:01 or on gogul's visor, you don't see it any more on computer produced anime. one of many things i miss from 90's anime.

i love this 3 part anime(ova) from great director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and this tune is so romantic quality.
This song is beautiful and this anime is awesome ahead of its time it is a crime it was canceled after 3 episodes.
it wasn't canceled, it was a 3 part OVA animation, it's a underrated animation OVA most people over look that's all.

Ah simpler times. Back as kids we couldn't figure out if the third was a man or a woman. Never realized it was our first intro to transgender.
