Hey Georgina there's a theory that's really got me thinking, that Blitz was in relationship with Andreaphlus before meeting Veroskia and Stolas someone who pretended to love him and pulled the rug out from under him showing his true colors and looking at how Blitz acts it's makes sense his words and action speak of the relationship we haven't see in the show yet.

Stolas' drunken monologue about wanting someone to want him. These two were finally talking together and are both sharing their own vulnerable sides with each other... but they’ve hurt each other too much at this point to really appreciate it.

    • @AnInsideJoke
      @AnInsideJoke 3 месяца назад +127

Something that really hurts, to me, is Stolas' answer after Blitzo exposes his vulnerabilities. Blitzø all but straight up asks Stolas "What do you see in me? Why do you 'love' me?"
And Stolas....never actually answers him, but instead goes "You want to know what I want?..." and goes on his spiel about romance. Which is totally not what Blitzø was asking.
Yes, there's a chance that it was just because he was drunk, but Stolas has shown to have a bad habit of staying too inside his own head/feelings to notice how his words and actions are affecting others (this isn't just me saying this, Vivziepop and the team have said in Tweets and even the video descriptions that this is something Stolas does).
So, his whole bit about romantic relationships kind of gave the impression that Stolas is more in love with love, or at least, the idea of love, than any actual person, including Blitzø.
Which, for someone with as much emotional baggage as Blitzø, would have been devastating to hear/realise...that anyone could have been in Blitzø's place, and that Stolas doesn't even actually know or want Blitzø himself, just a stand-in for a romance novel plot.

@@AnInsideJokeThis all the way. And for someone like Blitz, he also has a complex about only being worth what he can provide. So that is basically being solidified to him. That he isn't (and therefore can't be) cared about for being him, but for giving Stolas his body.

I'm afraid that Stolas is indeed only just in love with his idea of Blitz.
Which doesn't go to say that there won't be any chances later on for them to actually really fall in love with the real versions of each other. Actually, I'm counting on it. Those moments will be golden!

Can we talk more about love languages? Stolas’ way of showing affection is to use pet names, to be silly but doting, and use baby talk. (Probably because he never got that from his parents when he was little) Blitzo of course sees it as disrespect, but Stolas might not mean it that way. The social power imbalance weighs heavily on Blitzo, and his love language seems to be a lot more aggressive and dominant. Makes me wonder how compatible they actually are…

    • @BrokensoulRider

They're not compatible, but they can make compromises to find a middle ground that makes them compatible. There's the obvious sexual attraction. But beyond one day as children, they never spent much actual 'together' time with one another and get to know one another.

    • @DimmuDeer

I think that Blitzo's love language will turn out to be words of affirmation. He's definitely only using aggression to hide something. Stolas absolutely is capable of giving that to him, but does not understand that's what he's been missing. After all, Blitz seems so dominant it looks like he has natural self esteem, but that's not the case.

But can also see it being from the perspective of someone who has sheltered their whole life and didn't really know how to properly Express action, so he thought he was just doing little pet things that you do with your significant other and didn't realize they were coming across as demeaning. This is reinforced to me by the fact that he unwittingly treats the imps under his service as simple objects to be moved around. It's all he's ever known and he hasn't really had any meanings of looking at it any differently. So for him, it's not necessarily about the actions, it's about the intent. While I realize that's not how it is in real life, that doesn't change the fact that not everybody has this idealized guidebook of how to act with people.

I think there’s a difference between looking down on, and talking down on. Stolas has, like you said, talked down to Blitz SO many times, but Blitz is assigning intentions to Stolas when Stolas, although his heart is in the right place, he has a baffling lack of understanding that Blitzø has to live discriminated against by his class and identity Every Single Day. Blitzø, as we’ve seen throughout the show, is especially hyper-aware to it, let alone just the regular amount of talking-down-to that I think anyone could identity from their situation. Stolas hasn’t come from that upbringing so he can’t really imagine it, which isn’t inherently bad but it’s also not a valid excuse, Stolas DOES need to learn how Blitzø’s identity as an imp, and being raised in a family that used him for their own benefit, has massively affected Blitzø’s sense of self and how the world has wrongfully treated him as a result of his class/identity. And on both sides, they need to move past their insecurities and accept themselves for who they are, ++ being able to ACTUALLY communicate (which they at least started to do in this episode)

    • @AnInsideJoke
      @AnInsideJoke 3 месяца назад +30

It's not just Blitzø he does it to either, but imps in general. Hell, he even did it just a few minutes before during the Striker argument. Stolas straight up says that Blitzø "couldn't be bothered to come help" him, completely ignoring that Blitzø sent Moxxie and Millie in as a whole team to help him.
Millie is even stronger of a hand-to-hand fighter than Blitzø, and Moxxie is better with guns than Blitzø (not that Blitzø is a slouch in either, however), making them stronger and more effective than if Blitzø has gone by himself.
And most people in that situation would have been fine with just knowing that ANY help was sent, that they were thinking of them.
Stolas wasn't. It's a direct repeat of his lines from the Loo Loo Land episode, where he said *straight to Moxxie and Millie's faces* that they weren't good enough for him, and that he wanted Blitzø. It's been at least 6 months in-universe since then, and Stolas not only *still* hasn't stopped this behavior, he remains completely oblivious to even *having* this be one of his faults.

Stolas learned and decided to even the scales and that absolutely freaked Blitzø out when he was already in a state of panic I call 'I can fix this' mode that Loona unintentionally set off. That kind of change so abruptly triggered him to lash out.

This episode was so sad, especially because people are quick in taking sides, when in these cases it is a mess for both sides. These two suck in communication, mixed with the fact that their conflict & trauma response are totally opposite and that they don't even know their lives in a more intimate matter to know the why for what they do or act... It just ended in both being hurt.
Ironically they can BE can each other need, but they must get their shit together, a really good healing separately, and proper talk, to even have a normal start to a relationship being a friendship and maybe a romantic one.

I don't know what is going to happen with these two in the end. I sincerely hope for the better, but that said, it's clear to me that the writers know what they want to do with these characters and they have a direction they are wanting to go with exploring their potential relationship, be it romantic or not. @@CelticMagician RIGHT?! WHY PEOPLE DO THAT?!
Of course Stolas never realized he was being condescending to Blitz in the past, he was raised in a privileged and elitist environment, but maybe he never thought of himself as someone as bad as the rest of the royals, we tend to do that when we want to make distance of the bad aspect of our families, but the tendencies are still there, but who could tell him that? Nobody has ever taught him this, ignorant privileged people that lack self awareness like Stolas, he NEED someone to tell them when something is wrong, we have seen how when he did something wrong he apologized in an instant and reflects his mistakes.
The same thing with Blitz, he hurt so many people that maybe even love him enough to allow him to open up to them, but he run away when they tried to get to close, even the one night stand, nobody is that hurt for a one they sleep maybe once, but maybe was the way he ended the things?
Blitz has a tendency of being very hurtful with his words, because he thinks is better that way, yet he's so loving with his daughter, yes he has a problem of respecting her boundaries, but he takes her because he knew what it was feeling leftover and unwanted.
People tend to forget that the reason why the full moon deal was sexual in first place was because Blitz opened that door when he wanted to book, but Stolas continued it, both took this too far, both make this messy, both ended up cashing feelings...
This is not an easy discussion, it's a very hard and painful side for both, because news flash Blitz&Stolas were hurting each other without noticing in different ways. Pain isn't a competition, both traumas are valid, these two have been victims of such horrible circumstances, one with such unhealthy life home that only makes him feel that he needs to prove his worth for everything, for later that this accident produces a crushing guilt of basically destroying his family&home and, creating this mentality of "I'm poison everyone is better without me", and the other was trapped in an arranged marriage (it's sad that Stella was also trap in these situations but choose to take her frustrations with Stolas, that's at least what I think, not excusing the abuse, but it happens, misery loves company after all) that ended being toxic while he worked so hard to make it look like a happy one for the most important person in his live, his beloved daughter (he did such good job that she didn't even knew their parents never loved each other) and he was so alone, not even a friend for company while going through this.
But they know these things about each other? NO, but how could they? These two never ask or talk about it.

Hearing Blitzø actually _admit_ to his self-hatred felt *_huge_* in the moment. We've seen that self-loathing on display in all the photos he's redacted himself from, but he's never been able to let himself be vulnerable enough to admit it to anyone else -- he acts like he's been conditioned to see that kind of vulnerability as being a _bad_ thing (which, having _met_ Cash, may well be the case!), and so consistently avoids letting down those defenses and gets agitated when he's seen in that space.
We even see how Blitzø's moments of vulnerability can be beneficial for him in his conversation with Verosika. The instant he let himself admit that he _wants_ to change, to stop being the awful person who's hurt so many people, she actually _softens_ a bit: cracks a smile, gives him some unironically good relationship advice, and perhaps most significantly, _she calls him 'Blitzø'._ Up until then, she'd been spitefully deadnaming him, but in that moment, it's as if she decided maybe this Blitzø guy sitting next to her could be a better person than the Blitzo she used to know.
I do hope we see Blitzø allow himself to be vulnerable more in future episodes. There's moments in the trailer that suggest he _will,_ but it'd be a _huge_ step in his development if he allows himself to show someone else that fractured core of his and is supported and comforted when he does -- from what we've been shown, Millie's the next person who'll see him at his lowest, and she's got a _lot_ of experience being a comforting, grounding influence on high-maintenance, neurotic guys trying to work through their traumas.

I hope at some point later down the line we actually get Stolas addressing his issues, because it's pretty obvious from the set up he gets WAY too caught up in his feelings and daydreams about what he wants with Blitz and is oblivious to the reality of what is going on. I'm pretty sure that's the clinical definition of delusional, but I also think it's important to look back at how Stolas was raised to see why he has these delusions. He grew up in an environment with no actual friends for him to interact with, meaning he never really developed proper social skills or how to properly read people. There's also the fact that, unlike every other imp in Hell, he's viewed Blitz as an equal, which makes him blind to just how classist his tendencies are and how degrading his behavior and words pre-Ozzie's comes across. Like it isn't just Blitz's issues causing this relationship to not work, it's Stolas' ignorance as well. And Stolas was ABOUT to self reflect before Verosika and Vortex dissuade him, which also highlights an issue of Verosika's party basically being a horrible way to work through past trauma. Keep reminding yourself once a year about a traumatic person in your life instead of taking your time to grieve then moving on. Even Stolas seems visibly uncomfortable by it at first

@@cablefeed3738 Stolas is absolutely terrible at listening to people and just assuming things until it's too late. We saw that in Episode Two with Octavia. Stolas 100% didn't realize how fucked up his treatment of Blitzø and their relationship was until basically Ozzie's. He ignored Blitzø's very obvious feelings and never really tried to actually talk things out. Even when he tried to make things better he gave Blitzø no time to process and when Blitzø was misunderstanding things just decided to end things without wanting to talk about it further.
Now I understand why he is the way he is, and they should not be together at this point at all, but Stolas was an equal partner in this trainwreck and if he doesn't change or improve that will continue to be a problem for himself and others going forward.
Oh, we also can't forget how he's pretty clearly classist/racist and how much that casual classism/racism affected Blitzø. I'm not even saying he's consciously bigoted. He's just grown up in an environment that's instilled it into him so much that he doesn't even realize it. As can be seen by his many demeaning comments towards Blitzø and other imps and the way he treats Pringles.

One thing I've noticed is that in the song Stolas sings during the party he sort of acknowledges that he missed a lot of signs; "What if it's all on me for missing every sign and every glance and every turn.". However, we also hear Verosika and Vortex singing in the background denying that it was all his fault; "No, no, no, he's a motherf###er". He says that maybe there's something he can learn from Blitzo and again Verosika and Vortex repeat the same line. I don't think it's *all* Stolas' fault but I think he recognizes that he must've missed something, that he must've done something wrong as well, but those around him who just met him don't know that. To us it might be obvious but to him he might not notice. For instance, he might not fully recognize what he's said to Blitzo is offensive or what he's done is taken as a microagression, or maybe he just thinks Blitzo is into whatever he's doing when in actuality he's sick of it. Sure, maybe Stolas should've clarified and asked "hey, this is okay, right?" but that also lands on Blitzo to clearly state "hey, can you not do that, I don't like you calling me that" when Stolas clearly keeps missing more subtle cues. Idk man, clear communication seems to be both of their worst enemies plus low self worth.

As much as I wanted Blitz to go after Stolas, to put effort into showing he actually cares and live up to what Stolas wants... Blitz needs therapy before he gets into another romantic relationship, seriously. As much as this was heartbreaking, it was needed. Stolas will be there, we all know it. Blitz, go get help... if Hell even has therapists. And you have a couple friends, Fizz and Ozzie, who can get you ANY therapist you want or need. You also have a whole support system that cares for you that won't let you give up or run away. Millie, Moxxie, Loona, Fizz, and Ozzie. Hell, Octavia might even help. She didn't DISLIKE Blitz and she loves seeing her dad happy, and she knows he's happy with Blitz.

As someone who escaped a bad relationship, I know what it's like to carry a weird guilt where you still feel like the bad guy for holding onto that anger, no matter how justified it is. It’s easy to just brush it off and be like “oh I’m sure the writers will just ensure that they get together in the end, so all of it doesn’t matter.” You talk about it as if it’s actually happening and it’s up to the characters themselves to fix the problems they created, not the writers. Makes it feel more immersive, all these characters could use a therapist.

Respectfully, I have an alternate thought on Blitz letting Stolas go dance instead of keeping him there. I see where it could be avoidant behavior, but I actually think it was one of Blitz's more selfless moments. He's just heard Stolas pour his heart out about just wanting someone to *want him*, to care for him and show genuine interest in him. And Blitz has just tried....and failed.... to do it. He reached, but could not yet bring himself to cross the divide.
And then here comes someone who does *exactly that*. Notices Stolas, shows care, compliments him in a non-creepy way, shows interest and wants to spend time with him. And Stolas looks to *Blitz* for permission. He could have said no, and Stolas would have stayed; he has to know that now after what's been said. But he *lets him go*. He doesn't stand in the way of Stolas having a chance to feel what he desires most, because Blitz recognizes that he can't give that to him. Not yet. If he had said no, not only would he be a huge hypocrite, it would also very much imply that he cares less about Stolas' happiness than he does possessing him and his heart.
So I was SO very proud of Blitz in that moment. 😊

He calls him his "little imp," he uses a nickname Blitzø doesn't like, and calls him cute when he's serious. Blitzø HAS resisted these things but Stolas still did them throughout their relationship. Blitzø just stopped bothering to say anything because of his struggle with communication I think. I feel like Stolas just saw it as fun and games without thinking about how Blitzø really felt about it and didn't take Blitzø very seriously. He doesn't think he looks down on Blitzø because he doesn't realise he does as someone who came from royalty. I feel like it's a lot more than projection on Blitzø's part, with obliviousness on Stolas's.

A critique about the "you can't love anyone else until you love yourself" cliche, and the concept that you'll poison relationships you're in if you don't love yourself. I think that no matter how hard you work on healing yourself, humans are a social animal and shouldn't put off human connection until we fix ourselves.
When I had fresh PTSD from an incident that led to my friend group taking my abuser's side, I would've agreed. I would make connections (nonromantic ones) but then feel this guilt - I was broken and depressed and if I ended up unaliving myself, I would hurt them. So I lived in a cycle of pushing people away and then getting close to them or others again because, as much as I tried, I could not live my life completely isolated.
No matter how much work you do on yourself, PTSD doesn't heal overnight. What did facilitate my healing was having a few people that were consistently there for me over the years, who I loved and who loved me. Even though I couldn't love myself, not yet.
I think "you can't love anyone until you love yourself" just encourages people to isolate and get worse and worse until the need for human connection overwhelms them and they get close to others anyway. I understand it is often meant about romantic relationships, but a broken person won't necessarily get that. Especially because there are a lot of types of love.

Personally, I can really relate to Blitz. While I probably have much more self-awareness, don't personally hate myself so much and have learnt to keep my behaviour in check, I really know how it feels to get constant microaggressions and then have someone be like "I didn't know you thought so low of me" when you call it out, or generally just feeling like...like things can't happen, generally, because of such different social standing and lived reality. Honestly, it sucks and I can understand Blitz there...and am happy to see that represented in media.

The intensity of Blitzø's disorganized attachment style, self hatred, emotional outbursts, going through hoops to avoid abandonment, bouts of hypers*xuality, and overall sh*tty childhood leads me to believing Blitzø has BPD. The fact Blitzø's character was closely inspired by Bojack Horseman makes me believe this as well. Blitzø is the BPD to Bojack's NPD, both closely related cluster B personality disorders that stem from trauma.

I think your videos are very detailed and informative about the awareness on potential reasons for these characters being who they are and what they do especially at this century ad mental health is vital for everyone to learn. 😊
Now to note: Collin isn’t exactly shown to genuinely be vengeful which could mean he could get a separate video but it mainly applies to Cletus and Keenie.

As an example I have NPD so it was refreshing to see you explain narcissism in a way that didn’t demonize people who suffer from it, and actually explains the emotional struggle and self hatred that can be the root cause of it all.
I also have BPD though, and I see a lot of my own emotions and behavior in how Blitzo feels and acts in his relationships, and I’m not the first to notice either. I was wondering what you thought about that interpretation? Without “diagnosing” him, of course

Not to be hostile, but over time, I've found that while the meaning of, "You can't love somebody until you love yourself," is one thing, the effect of this becoming common wisdom in the world is discriminatory: "If you don't love yourself, you aren't worthy of love." We may say that nobody is an island, that we're social animals, that we're designed for affection ... but those sentiments disappear as soon as somebody is inconvenient, then we treat them like they deserve to die alone because they're not the Übermensch, that they might as well have never been born if they're not willing to break their own bones and beliefs for self-actualization. My heart breaks from Apology Tour, not because of what happens, but because of what will happen later: a cycle of development and reward that most people never experience in real life. The show will sell us on a psychological/interpersonal fairy tale of healing and strength that almost never actually happens. I want Blitzø to never have a future with Stolas, because that resonates so much more authentically with real life. I want Blitzø to hurt for the rest of his life, not because I relish the thought, but because I feel the next step forward is letting the suffering have Dignity.

We have to acknowledge that Stolas is not the one who has left a string of emotionally injured exes in his wake over what is apparently over the course of YEARS, and I am saying this as someone who loves these characters, although I'm not entirely certain I need them to be together to like them. (Eh, on further thought I think I actually would like them to be endgame, really. 😢)
There are a lot of folk, for example, pointing out Stolas's behavior at Ozzie's, as if Blitz hadn't been using him just to be a convenient plus-one to basically stalk Millie and Moxxie since he'd failed to seduce the bouncer; as if Blitz wasn't actually trying his damndest to horn in on Moxxie and Millie's marriage from the actual get go of the series; when that pair have clearly indicated that they have no interest whatsoever in a third, or a switch, (or whatever the jargon is now, I know I'm bad at it, I'm genuinely sorry!) Stolas was not even a second choice, though he thought he was a first one.
I would say both Blitz and Stolas were calling undue attention to themselves, but Blitz began it, and he began it, honestly, so he could harass a couple on their honeymoon who'd been begging him from the absolute beginning of the series to *quit it* . Blitz, causing extra attention to Moxxie and Millie, brought more attention on himself and by proxy onto Stolas than anyone needed to have in that situation. Of course they were going to get mocked. Of course Stolas was going to hide behind his menu, he thought he was going on a date, not a roast. This is a person who has been getting smacked around by his arranged wife and disassociating/staring at the walls to conceive a child (numbers seem to put him at age 19 when he became a father).
The saddest thing is that *neither* of them seem to like themselves very much. 😢

I’ve been looking forward to this video since the episode came out. This episode made me cry more than any previous episode, it _consistently_ makes me cry, and the worst part is that I still find Blitzø the more relatable one between him and Stolas. That’s the real pain of watching _Helluva Boss:_ sympathizing with such a self-destructive protagonist. If Blitzø were a song, he’d probably be “And If I Did, You Deserved It”, now with a dash of “Against The Kitchen Floor” (both by Will Wood).
But he’s such a special little guy. I don’t even think everyone at that party necessarily slept with him, because I don’t even live in the same reality as he does and I still might possibly consider attending if I were invited, because if he ever did anything that hurt me that much, I wouldn’t want to suffer alone either. It’s not like I’d *_want_* to be mad at this badass, scrappy, circus brat underdog; he’s incredibly special to me and I love him and want to know him. I’ve hated myself a lot, too. I just want Blitzø to finally be happy, whatever that takes.
Also semi-spoilers but not really since he was in the Season 2B trailer, but a new Goetia character named Vassago is supposed to show up later this season. His namesake has clear vision of things past and future and can locate things that have been lost. I bring this up because those powers honestly sound like they’d be really helpful for a potential therapist friend to have. I look forward to meeting him. Lovely analysis as usual ❤

    @whymihere86 3 месяца назад +3

Stolas has a huge issue with the concept of love due to his only real concepts of it being from Telanovelas and the romance novels he reads.
Granted, yeah, his being married off to Stella did NOT help. His father's lack of attention, only to be told that his only use to this family is to have a kid and then just read prophecies in the stars added to that
Not to mention the constant abuse from Stella which Olivia was privy to and has given her psychological issues as well which Stolas probably hasn't gotten her help for has not helped his relationship with her, has also made him want to feel those things he told Blitz about wanting to be wanted and everything are all VERY valid.
But I think when Blitz broke into the house and started showing him some interest, he went off the deep end. Stolas is sheltered and socially inept and with his lack of intimate relationships and his only perspective on those being from idealized or dramatized versions of romance, a childhood friend that you have been harboring affection for suddenly shows up and shows an interest in you flipped a switch I mean look at the things he was saying to Blitz, the poor guy was weirded out and we all know what a freak Blitz is, especially after Fizz gave him that chainsaw engine powered bad dragon knockoff toy.
And while I agree with Blitz asking Stolas to stay would have been wise, I think letting him go was the smarter thing in the long run.
Stolas was married to Stella, who was an emotionally and physically abusive wife, and Blitz, a guy who matches his freak and had a previous connection with but also has lived a life that Stolas is ignorant of is not the most ideal way to go about forming healthy romantic bonds with.
Stolas needs to play the field a bit. He needs to see life outside his station and with others and learn about the world he's been blinded to.
Stolas constantly and unintentionally was demanding to Blitz. In episode 1, he calls Blitz who was under duress and forced the arrangement on him, constantly flirted with him after hiring him even after Blitz said not to, talks down a bit to Moxie and Millie and let's not even get into his treatment of his staff, especially the one small imp who we see at Ozzie's that has massive game, I guess he's called Chip because people think he's a snack, along with so many other instances. He called him his impish little play thing and reminded Blitz that "Itty bitty imps" weren't allowed to have his book and that they'd be in big trouble if anyone found out.
So yeah, Blitz and the others have every right to be worried about the book, which explains I.M.P tailing Blitz.
If Blitz hadn't got that crystal and Stolas took the book, I.M.P was done. They'd have been out of jobs and destitute. Hell Moxie and Mille might be fine, but Blitzo and Loona live in a one bedroom apartment with the bedroom being Loona's and Blitz sleeping on the couch and Loona is lower on the societal ladder than Blitz, there may be little chance of recovery while Stolas, eh financially he'd have been fine. So there's a lot I think people forget that while yes, Blitz is messing up a lot and it's all totally inexcusable, Stolas had a lot more power in their relationship than he knew which I believe he's starting to understand but has not fully reconciled with and I'm fine with the relationship as it is right now.
Based on merch Stolitz is the end game, but it's gonna be a long and painful journey and both are gonna need to work on themselves.
I do like that Georgia said what I said on twitter to someone after said this sucked, although my wording was, "You can't be happy in love, unless you're happy with yourself," and I think people want this ship to work SO BADLY that they forget that life is messy and complicated at times and we've been spoiled by our expectations thanks to movies and books and T.V.
    JUST LIKE STOLAS!
They both need time apart and help and honestly if Stolas gets a one night stand with that incubi, hey, good for you bud.
Also I do think Stolas would be understanding about Blitz not dealing with Striker the second time if he knew Blitz was being a good dad to Loona, but we may never know.
Also, also, I think Blitz was the one who cried not Fizz, so yeah he's lying again because he thinks showing that emotion is week.
And Martha was sleeping with Mrs. Mayberry, the teacher that hired I.M.P to kill her. How messed up is that?

Okay, so this is where I may be in the wrong for saying this but Stolas choosing to go dance with the other Imp instead of staying with Blitz was better than him staying with Blitz. That conversation could've gone any way just like the others but it also shows Blitz that Stolas was always there. Stolas was always ready to talk and listen, but now that Blitz pushed Stolas out of his life, Stolas doesn't feel obligated to be there anymore. He Blitz the choice to listen to his words, hear his heart, and Blitz mocked him, degraded him, and made him to be a villain in the world of Blitz. Stolas isn't 100% innocent, but Blitz had no right to treat Stolas with such disregard and hatred.

Of course, I've had a lot of help, and I've had a lot of people there to motivate me and assure me I deserve the amazing stuff I have in my life. But, I don't if I can bring my accept that. 'When have I ever?'
    - s1e1 'does that sound fair, my little imp?'
    - s1e1 *explicit rant about how carnal the affection is and how he only wants blitz's body*
    - s1e2 *pays blitz for a bodyguard job, flirts with him the entire time, even when he tells him not to*
    - s1e2 *nickname blitz never agreed to, plus it's outside of their arrangement deal*
    - s1e5 calls blitz an 'itty bitty imp' that's actually degrading, and they're not fucking at the moment so it's not part of the game just racism
    - s1e5 more nicknames, disregards objections, and parading him around agaisnt his will isn't going public, it's freak show and attention blitz never asked for and that would only punish him if people had opinions cause again, racism/classism (aka blitz would immediately be assumed to be the bad guy and lynched)
    - s1e6 he calls blitz 'impish little plaything' in front of not just his coworkers and daughter but also strangers
    - calls the IMP gang 'little creatures'
    - e1s6 demands out of contract fucking for rescuing him, making it very clear every action between them is conditional
    - s1e7 *hides when called out at ozzie's*
    - s2e2 *praises blitz only for his actions in bed as encouragement, again solidifying that's all he's good for*
    - western energy, the text convos show he takes no accountability for what happened at ozzies and instead blames ozzie
    - full moon, repeatedly talks over blitz
    - full moon, repeatedly disregards blitz's objections or questioning
    - full moon, dismisses him constantly
    - full moon, puts words in his mouth
    - full moon, refuses to take accountability when blitz calls him out
    - full moon, is too up in his head about his own hurt that he refuses to acknowledge how he's hurt blitz
    - apology tour, all of the above
'Do you feel any remorse for what you do?' That's a good question isn't it? For someone that actually has a long list of evidence.
Out of all the exes blitz should apologoze to, stolas is not one of them. Abuse is abuse whether it's portrayed as a joke or not and it shouldn't have to take a poc pov to figure that out. Unless stolas self reflects and acknowledges what he's done and apologizes first, blitz shouldn't have to apolgize to his abuser

Am actually on blitzes side with regards to the break up. While stolaz never meant to intentionally belittle him, he did do so accidentally a bunch of times. In spite of blitz's protest, stolas kept calling him blitzy and other pet names. If I remember correctly, he once called him his little play thing. Also, at Ozie's , stolas covered his face with the menu, which sent a signal to blitz that reaffirmed his anxious and avoidant concerns that stolas could never be seen with him in a serious relationship. While we as an audience manage to see all of stolas' love songs , blitz never managed to see any of that. Blitz only ever saw the side of stolas that treats him as a sex buddy. He was completely blindsided by the conversation, and if you read the messages between him and stolaz , stolaz did nothing to imply that their meeting in full moon was going to be about anything other than sex. Most importantly, Stolas had all the power in the relationship. Stolas set up the conditions of their meeting and established the boundaries of their relationship, and blitz had no say on it because he was dependent on stolaz to keep his business running. This power inbalance is exactly what blitz is trying to convey to stolas ,but stolas ;although not purposefully, lacks the social awareness to see things from blitz's point of view. Now , I understand that blitz , as established in this episode, has a pattern of avoidant behaviours that he needs to overcome , but my point is, it wasn't just blitz messing up.
