@usforeignpolicy that's the plan that eventually someone will recognize the value and global appeal we have and then pick up OTT for regular programming. We will keep plugging away, and thanks very much for the feed back. Dave Moss Host
You forgot to say wen you change the disks make shoor to change even the pads in the same time becos you mai end up uith nasti burn lines on the new disks im .right or not .......
Hi Dave !! Why do the waves of the rotors need to not be in the same pattern ? I've unfortunately installed them in the identical pattern on my bike.... I'm gonna correct this as soon as I can, but I was wondering why it needs to be like this?
I think its just to get the maximum amount of braking power at all times. When 1 side is on the peak "maximum" the otherside is on the bottom "minimum" although id assume its barely noticeable?
old video but he left out that rotors have a oil on them and you need to clean all the oil of before using the brake or it will ruin the pads I do this before I install them brake clean and a rag wipe them off and good to go
@pallavsharma91 upgrades relate to personal tastes in making your bike your own. I bring a different perspective to my own personal bikes and go through the following: 1. Suspension upgrades for better handling 2. Braking upgrades for better stopping power with braided steel lines 3. Ergonomics for a much more comfortable body position 4. Others: windshield, levers, slip on pipe etc. Dave Moss Host
Thanks, these videos are great. How many miles do rotors usually last? My rear street bike rotor went below the service limit in only 13,000 miles. Is this normal?
G'Day Dave ... I brought a full race 08 R6 recently. what could you recommend for getting more top end without blowing the budget? Cheers, Cameron (u guys did a vid on my 08 R1 200+ HP)
Thank you so much i followed your advice. Aspatially about how correctly aligne the rotors.
Appreciate
All the best
can you tell something about disc bobbins(rivets) maintenance ? do we need to clean them so the disc is fully floating etc..

@Davie272 I'll try to get the next video scheduled ASAP!
Should I rebalance a wheel after installing a new rotor?

What kind of rotors are those
What’s the torque pound on the disc
You should have you own tv. I'd watch it. Very informative.

Me too.. I installed them in the same wave pattern. Did you get the answer?

Or use a zip tie to hold the front brake
Very interesting, but what was wrong with the OEM rotors?

Probably you holding slightly rear brake not intentionaly when driving, or braking with rear brake instead front + rear.
