This felt like a teaser of an interview. I hope you guys shot a lot more content with Seth than this, a game of BIKE or just some trail riding together.
Exactly, and it transcends mountain biking ... Too many channels just shoot POV, haven't evolved and aren't making original content. They become stagnant and their channel stops growing. Two popular examples are Skills with Phil and Singletrack Sampler, who don't make consistent content and never treated their channel as a business. Seth has always had that kinda approach though. I have friends who don't even ride bikes but they follow Berm Peak, and Seth is constantly reinventing himself.
This doesn’t even scratch the surface of who this man is and what he has done. He has spearheaded the creation of an entire public bike park in the southeast. His back yard is literally a bike park. Everything he has done and how he has done it is documented on his YT. It’s incredible,
Seth nailed it I think. He’s the “Everyman”. He’s showing you what you can do to. Not an athlete telling you that you can. It comes off differently IMO
Been watching both channels since about 2016 when I got into MTB, Seth's Fat biking the wake of a cruise ship was the first of his vid's I watched. The growth of both channels into slick media operations has been astounding. I think a lot of success is down to personality, we've happily watched Seth cook an Omelette ffs and GMBN has very watchable presenters with Martyn like Seth having the ability to draw you in and make you feel like a welcomed friend. Martyn's Back on Track is probably what drew me to GMBN in the first place.
I thank Seth so much for some of the best times of my life. I saved a long time to buy a bike, and I was the only one of my friends riding, due to the cost. But my friend found Seth and learned about Diamondback bikes, specifically the Diamondback Hook. He bought one, and rode it like a damn champ. We went on so many epic rides, bikepacking and all. My friend has since passed away, and I am so thankful for those epic journeys we shared together. Seth let the masses know you didn’t need the fanciest bike to get out and ride, and I can’t thank him enough.
I was heavily into MTB 30+ years ago, raced for a while , fell out of love with it after a few years, rode dirt & road motorcycles ever since, chanced on a Berm Peak video, Seth’s enthusiasm got me back out on my old GT Avalanche, and I’m loving it, thanks Seth 👍👍
Seth has brought me so much inspiration over the years. I don't think I would have gotten serious about riding without his influence. But GMBN is part of that too!
I discovered Seth’s channels this year as my interest in mtb developed, and watching his video series has been quite a ride. The building of Berm Peak was incredible. Every time I see a new video from Seth I know it’s going to entertaining and informative. Quite a treat.
I love Seth's work attitude. Between calling out the fact that being a youtuber is not just "documenting your life" with no work behind it to "waking up grogging, drinking coffee like everyone". Such a people's people.
an absolute legend of a video, seth and gmbn? Man this should be one of the greatest things that happened, I started mtb because of seth and gmbn introduced me with the mtb skills I have now.
Exactly why I subscribed to Seth’s Bike Hacks and followed ever since. Seth is the everyday man. He also understands that when he creates quality content, the content will influence.
you just gotta love Seth. cool personality, hard working guy with a great sense of humour and endless list of skills. big thumbs up for Seth. he made my return to MTB much easier cause he's been much more than just bike hacks for years now.
Glad this finally happened. I stopped riding some years ago but GMBN and Seth were the two channels that got me in to the sport - technique tutorials, tricks, hacks, tools....everything. I learned it all from the two of them, and I'm glad this got recommended to me.
Both channels are more than creating content, you are advocates and ambassadors of the sport. A cool thing about Seth, has been watching his riding progress. That motivates weekend warriors like me. Huge fan of GMBN. Ride on.
Nice interview. I think Seth's humility lets him say that it's his accent, grey hair, and short stature - when it's really the fact that he knows what he's talking about, and he seems like the kind of guy you'd like to hang out with. I think he could work in mainstream media, if they could find the right way to present him.
I came on to Seth's channel without any knowledge of the former name. Works for me. I think it broadens his content and definition for him to have that other name still clinging on.
Seth teach me alot by alot means alot !! From hacks to how to repair my mtb by myself thanks for you seth you dont know how you help people from philippines with love 😊
Imo, It's not his appearance that makes his channel popular. It's the amount of research, and knowledge shared, complimented by presentation that makes him popular. We don't care if he looks relatable to certain demographics or not. He creates content we learn from, in relatable fashions. He could voiceover videos of other people acting out what he is saying that are from any demographic and that channel would still likely grow as quickly. It's the respect he has earned from the community with his dedication to not only his channel viewers but the trails he rides and the friends he supports, that makes us stay.
Great video! Neil and Seth are two of my favorite MTB personalities on RUclips. It was great to see them together in an amazing place like Bentonville. Great job, GMBN.
Seth makes us American Bicyclists proud. And I love that GMBN is featuring (global mountain biking) Well done! But usually I just like to stare at my bike.
absolutely, even though I feel that I'm fairly competent now with bikes (thanks to seth) I'll go back and watch old epodes as they're just so entertaining and well done.
Seth. The man. The legend… but kind of the same! 😂 My favorite mtb content creator. Not just an awsome rider but an amazing mechanic/engineer/entertainer. And rc model pilot! What a beast!😎
I can attest he is a really nice person as well! I took a really early video of him clearing a sketchy jump at Markham Park in FL and had a really nice time riding with him! We got our friend Kevin on a MTB for the first time as well. He is now fast too....
Hey Seth, it’s Brown Bear from sunny Queensland in Australia. I heard you said you have trouble sleeping. So did I until I got onto a CPAP machine and now I sleep like a dream mate. Hope this helps and please keep on Berming it up with berm peak Love your content just like I love GMBN’s ✌🏼Out n Keep On Rollin
My two bike channels that i watch and learn lot's of them. I was watching both "channels" for several year's and finaly buy a proper modern mountain bike (Canyon Stoic 3) , i got it for a week and i love to ride this bike. Now i got too start learn how too use it properly ;-)
Seth is actually the single reason i started Mountainbiking and Cycling in generel lol. on a random afternoon i binge watched random youtube videos because i was really bored and clicked on one of his mountainbike videos (was some wallmart bike challenge) and now its basically my whole life since around 4-5 years ago. crazy to think that someone from so far away (i am from germany) can influence the way my entire life is going. i really wonder what i would do these days if that never happened... maybe i would still be into powerlifting... i am unreconizable from those days, maybe i would do some other hobby/lifestyle... who knows...
My favourite RUclipsr ever! Learned bunny hopping from his videos! Love his early vids, when he was riding bike in jeans, no helmet and shit. Just a normal dude. Miss those videos! ❤😂
Yeah that shocked me too, plenty of bike channels that's been around since 08 and 09, it's just after around 2013 a lot of RUclipsrs were struggling on the platform and it killed off most genuine content creators of the earlier days
I don't think that was early days either, in terms of the platform in general. But I do think the idea of being a "youtuber" became a lot more prevalent some time between 2010 and 2015ish.
I am sorry, but they are talking about 2015 like it was 2005. Of course there were already tons of professional (non MTB related) youtubers back then. It wasn't as refined and streamlined and not everbody had sponsorships etc. but I think they might have remembered that incorrectly. I still love Seth's channel though :)
It is really noticeable the amount of work and effort Seth puts in all of his videos. He is always mixing diferente takes and angles, he is always showing something interesting and new on every take to keep the viewer entertained. In my opinion, GMBN is often just people talking to a camera for a couple of minutes and then some takes of ridding in between you, could improve your videos if you made them more dynamic like seths. Anyway I love both channels, but for that reason Berm Peak has always been my favorite one.
GMBN and Seth in Bentonville! . . . It’s no surprise they’re at Coler early in the morning otherwise there would hundreds of fans following them around.
Are you a fan of Seth's channels? Let him know 👇
I love Seth! i got into MTB because of him
Been a fan for years, but even more of a fan hearing his favourite film is team America - a man of good taste 😂
Who isn't?!
Yes he is very funny 😎😎 you are living the dream ❤
Just got into MTB partly because of Seth.
Thanks for making me look good!
Seth, any chance you'd cover next year's Sea Otter or Bentonville Bike Fest?
Love to see your take. 👍🏼👍🏼
Losing your keys Seth!?!? lol Classic! Mad props bro!
Matt Damon!!!
Was great to go riding with you! 🤘👊
Hi Seth! love your videos and got into mountain biking becaus of you!
This felt like a teaser of an interview.
I hope you guys shot a lot more content with Seth than this, a game of BIKE or just some trail riding together.
I agree! Too short lol

Wonder if we will get the other half on his channel?
@@h82fail idk. I rarely see GMBN guys go on other channels apart from their own GCN network channels.
@@grootjnr ya! It felt like the interview just started and ended abruptly. haha..
what makes Seth's channel appealing is that, his content is relatable to ordinary and practical people.
Exactly and no pushing certain brands on us.
My two favorite MTB channels doing a crossover ! I feel blessed 😍
Agreed
If only it were Blake.
Blake would have made more of the interview, Neil feels abit awkward asking mundane questions to a super interesting and nice guy
I’m glad Seth is taking his time hanging out with smaller, lesser known youtube channels!
😂😂
Of course, everything has to be a little smaller for Seth.

Im a simple man, i see Seth, i click.
We simple men live a simple life
@@floris2872 Yes brother.
Simple life is nice.
That's me when I see women's long/pole jump competitions.
We all do

Martyn's Back on Track is probably what drew me to GMBN in the first place.
The first video I saw of his was riding a BMX bike on trails 😂 I was racing BMX at the time so the algorithm perfectly served that one up to me.
all the tips for repairs over the years from Seth has been so helpful! All his videos of setting people up with nice bikes too
Two of my favourite RUclips channels on one video. Couldn’t click on it fast enough. Love these sort of collaboration videos.
Seth is the man!!! He could talk about a kids scooter for 10 mins and I’d watch, and like it
I thank Seth so much for some of the best times of my life. I saved a long time to buy a bike, and I was the only one of my friends riding, due to the cost. Been fallowing Seth since he was in Florida riding a trek hard tail!

Seth has brought me so much inspiration over the years. I don't think I would have gotten serious about riding without his influence. But GMBN is part of that too!
Seth is the reason I bought my 1st mountain bike in 2016. I still have it. Tyvm for both of Seth's yt channels and GMBN.

lol watch seth for years and it motivated me going out, do biking stuff and buying bikes and yeah. without him I would never gone so far!
The thing about Seth is he's relateble.. You could live next door to Seth he's that kinda guy!! 👍🏻😎💯
I had the pleasure of working with Seth on a trail in Miami (Virginia Key). He is the real deal, just a genuine person.
The collab we always wanted
They've collabed before. Blake rode with Seth at Whistler a few years back.
Seth rode with Blake from GMBN some time ago. You have to see that one.
YES!! I love Berm Peak and GMBN!! It’s fabulous to see y’all together! Thank you!
Nice interview.
