      Lots of solar panel calculators have fake solar panels, plus the real ones are very inefficient and low quality. Please instead buy dedicated solar cells.

      @dehman8174 7 лет назад +3

      Solar panels from calculators are made for low light conditions like inside a house.
      Not for direct sunlight I would recommend buying some 5×5 solar panels online instead.

    • @ZonaALG
      @ZonaALG 7 лет назад +3

      Will cost a lot and won't be efficient at all, but it's probably a good idea if you want to learn a little about soldiering...
      Probably will be better to buy a diy kit or to create something easy like a charger with a dc-dc converter
      Or maybe a micro flashlight with supercapacitors

    Huge magnifying glass to heat the top of the solar panel, and water to cool the bottom. With thermal Si and make a low power heat element too, it must be touching the solar panel away from negative. When it is done see if having the heating of the si panel is worth putting on every solar panel, with or without the extra heat element.

    I uses electrolysis to do this with a 120v d.c. source and a 12 gage copper wire as the electrodes and was able to use an incandescent warm white light to dimly light two water clear red LEDs using my body capacitance as ground I guess. The ground on the wall socket works the same. I haven't been able to do it with a 6×2 copper plate nor get the sun to light the LEDs with either. Couldn't a series and parallel array get much better results? Or would one giant panel do more work?

    How do we know its producing electric energy from the solar energy, and not acting as just a solar-controlled battery? Maybe the chemical reaction between the plates and the electrolyte form a battery that is only active when light hits it, as if its a battery with a photodiode in series.

    Could you calculate the energy that your solar panel generates (and thus its efficiency) based on the inductance of your meter and the rate at which the current builds up in it?
    I would attempt to do this using the footage alone, but I don't know the inductance of your meter.

    How would the current change if you decrease the distance between plates ? In the lead acid batteries for example, the plates are literally pressed into each other having separator between them, would a porous separator wet with NaOh electrolyte & two plates squeezed on it make a different amount of current? Please make a video on it, with different electrolytes, possibly one with Copper oxide powder added into electrolyte...... please!

    I have a question, if you used the solar panel and combined it with an ion thruster, but not using copper. Instead using tungsten, amplified the e- field using parallel capacitors. Get a drone made of carbon fiber, could you theoretically create a self sustaining RC drone that would never need batteries?

    Or combine several materials with different absorption spectrums....

    I would think that using an arduino to control a tracking unit for solar cells is a bit over-engineering. I could do it with a couple of 4093's and a few 2n2222's. I know the arduino is quite a capable unit, but old school chips and transistors do the job very well and are quite easy to use with no programming needed.

      The change when light was taken away as too fast, also, the difference from being inside ( where it is warm ) and outside ( where it is winter ) had an effect of producing more outside due to the light, so although it is possible that there may be a slight boost from the pelitare ( sorry I know I spelled that wrong :P ) effect, it is minuscule when compared to what visible light was producing.

    Many high school students may have split the water molecule by applying 12 VDC
    to two separate metalic plates imerssed in a glass with water. If we apply resonance
    to this setup by adding a pulsating solid state circuit with Voltage and frequency
    control (0-50 VDC, 0-100MHz), we should be able to optimize the efficiency of the process
    to a point where the input energy is lower than the output. This is not theory, it has
    already been done and patented:
