    Note: instead of a solenoid you could use the tape read head from a cassette player. Then it would be more sensitive.

      That's suspicious... Personally, I didn't think it was practical until I saw a use for it (at the end of the video with the guitar). A lot of these things may be fun because they occupy you.. ultimately though, what's important is how useful the things are. Unfortunately not many things on this channel are useful, merely fun. If you see this comment, please consider carefully planning and releasing videos that are practical for people; Devices which produce a speaker effect or w/e that effect was with the electric guitar would be great; Especially if it were cost effective over buying one. Stuff like that would seriously make this channel take off.

    You ever mess with the tempest software and a sdr dongle it can pick up the same electromagnetic sounds except the software can interpret the sound and decode a computer monitor so if you had sensitive enough equipment and someones pc wasn't in a Faraday cage you can see everything they do on screen. Even without the software there is a way to do this just in sdr sharp to decode some sounds displayed as images on the monitor.

I know the same thing happens when you bring two microphones close to each other. I know It has to do with magnetic waves but why are these waves making a noise? Next, why choose a solenoid from a washing machine?

Additionally to hearing EMF's, I am very interested in SEEING them. Do you think you could tackle this human enhancement?

    • @gman2036
      @gman2036 7 лет назад +1

      I read an article some time ago on Wired Science magazine where a guy had actually done this. He also wanted to see all the electronic transmissions in the air. So he developed a 2 D viewable image showing the different electronic waves in the air around him. I thought he did it in 3D and why I was interested in it so I didn't care to follow up on it. His PC screen just showed red lines, blue lines, color coded lines going across the screen. The thing I questioned was how he captured them to show them as lines all at once. Then I found out, he mapped them so they weren't a real time display.
