What I really like about South Park is the fact that they never forget about different personalities of the characters, and don't even forget any characters at all.
If a older character is brought up, that same character has still the same personality as if they were still the same person. And that's what really makes me happy, knowing that the creators don't forget their creations.

I really love this intro all the Easter eggs are amazing such as a old man reading the newspaper saying “who is Mysterion?” And the 5th graders riding there bikes to school, and principal Victoria standing outside of the school, and Terrance and Phillip walking up to school, and the classic mr garrison in the window.

People bitching about this intro have totally no clue of how incredible it actually is! The quality, style and technique are flawless and pay so much respect to the original animation method used for the show. Plus, the amount of references to past episodes is huge!

I was afraid when I heard they were going to use 3D animation for the introduction. As it turns out, they pulled it off; it actually looks like the old stop-motion cutout animation taken to a more advanced level than before! Good job to the studio!
+Bobx007 i diddnt really like it at first but it has grown on me. although i like the style of the older intros better, i like the way the present the town and all the cameo's by characters who have appeared in the show. although my favorite intro is still the grade 4 intro. nothing beats that.

+Bobx007 My only problem with it is that I think the old bluegrass theme would fit better. The guitar theme fit better when there was hardcore stuff going on in the background. This intro has a lighter vibe.

this intro is amazing, and it really captures how chaotic the show really is and the animation is perfect, i love all the references too. i think this intro is my favorite, although I do like the intro song from seasons 6-10 better, the visuals in this are amazing

Edit: I'll explain. My teacher didnt like me to begin with so she always found ways to make my mistakes look worse then they were. My ringer when off and I was trying to turn off my phone when she saw me with it in my hand. I tried to explain I was turning it off but she didnt care. She knew that South Park made fun of Catholics and God so she got even more mad. I got in trouble for back talking and "playing with me phone" not the ringtone. I just thought it was funny bc later she called it a "Satan show" lmao. This was 2 years ago i'm not even in highschool anymore😂

I love how everything is made to look like cardboard. So much detail, even right down to the camera moving slightly to make it look as though it's stop-motion, the jerky movements, the lighting changing just a tiny bit in each shot and the textures on the objects moving so it looks as though they've been handled to set up the next part of a scene.
It's really fucking fantastic.
I'm pretty sure after the first episode was shot they instantly switched over to digital animation but they used a machine to photocopy all the characters so they still had a stop motion-ish texture. I mean they prob def have new character models now because of new tech n needing to keep up with digital animation and whatnot but thought it was cool they always made it look so 'real'

You just gotta appreciate how they have kept the same art-and animation style for this show even if changing the graphics to better. It's incredible, because most shows just change their art style over time.
the cardboard look and stuttery movement is what i love about south park, it makes so many scenes funny in the first place. i died laughing the first time i saw kennys dad shitting, puking and bleeding from his nose all at the same time because it was so "laggy". This episode will always make me laugh.
It would be awesome if they used this set in the episodes themselves.
the style has actually changed somewhat over the years, most of the backgrounds are more detailed and stylized as opposed to the earlier cutout approach used in earlier seasons, and characters often move more fluidly than they did before as well

@@TheAdventuresOfDanStudios Newer characters absolutely follow that trend too though. They‘re more detailed than older characters. See: Mackey compared to PC Principal. Hell, even see regular Randy compared to Tegridy Randy. Definitely a change there.
