    - A family within a family within a family?
    - No. We need to go deeper.

You can do scalable families - it is a lot easier with simple forms - it needs to be based on fixed ratio formulas in the parameter dialogue box though. Basically use one consistent parameter dimension in all formulas. Just alter that and the whole thing moves in a scaled way.

Great work, Brother! Your tutorials helped me to make it through college (Interior Design) with Honors. I now teach Revit to others as well. Thank you so much for mastering your craft and having the patience and dedication to teach what you know to those interested and disciplined enough to try. God bless you, Brother!!

I'm doing this for a lamp post but the height does not appear in the family types for this step at 7:34 i used a lighting family, a furniture family and a generic family. the height is not there EDIT: i figured it out it's not in family types like he says, it's actually the edit types like shown in the video

I need an annotation family that scales by the set view scale. Any ideas?

Unfortunately it didn't work with my parametric family consisting of groups, cad geometry and revit geometry. The scale just doesn't change with the parameter and it keeps the same size.

Hi Balkan, how do you remove the background so nicely/neatly? what kind of screen recording do you use if you don't mind me asking. May be you can do another short RUclips video on "How I remove my background" Looking forward to it. Thanks

Interesting topic for people in the comments. How much do you make per annum for the job you managed to acquire (plus job description) from the skills learnt from the Balkan architect?

Hello dear, thank you for your content.
I have a question, I installed the trial version of Revit 2021 before and when it expired I wanted to install a crack version of it but I am not able to do so. Do you have any solution for this issue? Knowing that the crack version is working and I installed it on several other laptops.

  • @conceptstays9888

So if I don't want it to be entourage family, i can skip nesting it twice? I can link the parameter in first nesting..?!
