Adam C I think the ones with the European style plates were released by Land Rover themselves. He just filmed himself driving and put the music on there.
I've also had difficulty in placing the market alignment for this car, but I think I might be close. Because of how low it sits normally, and how prominent the length of it feels, there's an whiff of "estate" or "station wagon" to it. It kind of feels like Land Rovers interpretation of what an Estate car is. It is really comfortable and definitely more capable off road than I thought it would be, what also strikes me is actually how quiet it is as well, not as much as it's Bigger Brothers, but it's really not bad. I'm really impressed by it. :)
Excellent review, great filming and editing. I came very close to purchasing a Velar. On the day I was supposed to pay my deposit I got cold feet. There are too many current Velar owners reporting frustrating problems. Many of the issues are minor but for $90,000 Canadian dollars I don't want those problems. It's too bad because the Velar is a lovely vehicle that falls nicely between the larger Audi Q7 or Mercedes GLS and the smaller Q5/X3 etc. As a current Jaguar owner and fan of the brand, I hope JLR can improve on these issues for the 2019 model year
I remember that storm well. I was driving a rental Flex Ltd. through Toronto (N.Falls back to Ottawa) thinking “WOW, Zack on the West Coast, doesn’t have to deal with THiS kind of weather”. Apparently... YOU do/did! Quite a splendid review. Thanks so much.
You're right, they are the best looking SUV on the road at present, but the infotainment system (though it looks easthetically pleasing and cool) just didn't impress me and actually lagged quite a bit when I tried one. If it had the BMW or Audi system then it would be the perfect vehicle, but it doesn't and people like me who rely heavily on their car's tech' might become frustrated with it once the initial excitement of the looks has faded.
in 2019 all I want to know is what are they doing about the door handles in the winter? That is all I want to know. One video eluded to a fix from the UK was coming?
You want to own an suv go for Toyota’s, lease it go for the velar s so far no issues one year to be exact, I have same issues or doubt before getting mine 😃👍👍
What was the term ... oh yeah, “sleek and reductionist”. Great review Mike. Way to make it interesting! Wish I was in the 100K snack bracket! So many really good choices. Do you know if these are built in the UK? You never know these days ( Ford EcoSport imported from India, for example). CD/
Christopher Douglas These are built in Solihull, England :) Most Range Rovers are, only Range Rovers that are built in India/China are made for the respective countries market to reduce import taxes I believe, but they are built in the UK.
There has to be some kind of middle road between Styling, reliability and price. Range Rover, BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar SUV’s are made to be leased not owned. They just are not reliable. I can just imagine after about 5 years of ownership with this Ranger Rover when not only the mechanicals are failing but also those nice pretty electronic screens are acting up.......I’ll pass. I’m actually looking forward to the 2019 or 2020 Acura MDX redesign. The 2019 RDX Redesign is great with a really nice interior which bodes well for the new MDX that even now offers decent looks a good price and most importantly reliability.........
Actually according to JD Power and Consumer Reports, Acura have fallen a lot in Realiability because of the transmission issues and outdated interior compared to their Honda (Accord for ex.) Counterparts
No one else has said it? Props on the hard work editing and filming this video. It hasn't gone unnoticed, keep it up.

It's a great car, and it's ahead of the competition in terms of space, technology, luxury, comfort, and style

High quality review as always. Beyond enjoying the video I can actually trust your opinion for buying. The best on the net

Currently, the best looking SUV's are the Velar, and the XC90... It's just a shame that Volvo stubbornly only offers a 4-banger or hybrid.

I can't get over how much the grill looks like an old Ford Explorer.
It's an advert not a review... In Canada and didn't mention the locks freezing fault. 💩
What if I buy the RR velar and put the RR sport front bumper

Very nice video and comments. Love your work Mike!
Incredible review, Mike!
This is one great review
How reliable as compared to german?
Reliability ?

we will be getting this car on sat I live in NY, you are scaring me lol. I will ask my dealer and let you know.
It does look good it the dismal 2.0T tested in Motor Trend is Lexus 2.0T slow! Of course there is v6sc but you are closing in on $100,000!
You want to own an suv go for Toyota’s, lease it go for the velar s so far no issues one year to be exact, I have same issues or doubt before getting mine 😃👍👍
Good gas mileage because I’m not driving it as it sits on dealership lot waiting for warranty repairs
Louis Win lmao
Savage 😂
well, what can you expect from a Range Rover
lmfao
Do you even have a car dude?
Is the video shot at 18 by 9 aspect ratio? Great review!
I love this car
Velar owners complaining about the center console showing scratches on the black piano finish. ugh!! for $75K-$80K that's disappointing
Greatest looking SUV is like being the tallest building in Pierre, South Dakota.
bassandtrebleclef lol. So true!!
How Many blody adds do you want to put in here!? I had 4!
RUclips does that, not the channel.
Too much electronics inside wont last long
Give me a Porsche Macan any day of the week.
Darren O'Riley much smaller than the velar but more reliable.
My favorite car
I found the seats to be a bit hard.
Cool video
I’d love this but the reliability of Land Rover is poor. Not worth the headache.

Better value than a Maserati Levante
My favourite #RangeRoverSvAutobiography
#RangeRoverAutobiography
#RangeRoverValerAutobiography
in my #Home #RUclips
It's a stunner! Too bad it's still a Range Rover. You'll spend more time with a low-grade rental car while the Rover is in for repairs.
Spoilt only by TOO MANY ADVERT interruptions!
RUclips adds the adverts, not the poster. If you don't like the adverts, pay the RUclips account fee and they all go away.
You should change your name to nick
looks best in silver
I’m probably the only person but I don’t like the all black version I think the front looks terrible
bring zack !!!
the design is good...but it tries to look too slick and futuristic.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
JLR reliability and quality are horrendous.

The rear end is not beautiful at all
It does have great proportions but that styling already looks outdated.
First !
