@@vinny4223 Even the greatest drivers rarely go into a new championship and win it first time round. Norris didn't win the F2 championship yet we know he's top quality. Hamilton went up again the likes of Glock and Piquet Jr, who are good drivers in their own right, and completely dominated the entire championship.
Gonna be statistically the best ever without doubt. Some people will never agree with it but he's an f1 legend that will still be spoken of in 50 years.

The fact that he's the 2nd oldest driver in F1 right now and still beating drivers 12-14 years younger than him - many of which are really talented - is saying quite a lot.

I prefer to think of it as similar to the latter half of 1988 (Prost having the upper hand toward the end). When a title was to be won from the front, Senna would often go into a slower safety-mode in order to be sure. We've seen this many times - Jones 80, Piquet 81, Piquet 83, Prost 85, Senna 88, Mansell 92, Hill 96, Alonso 06, Hamilton 08, Button 09.

@quasiphatpaul Lol, na im not high, not anymore anyway :P the 1st half of the season was senna's, no doubt he was the class of the field but in the second half he made some mistakes and lost the edge he had previously had over brundle, allowing martin back into it and actually lead going into the last race weekend, but senna pulled it out when it mattered and won.

GP3 is a spec series. There is no car advantages. Just a better team and to sum it up its the record in GP3. No one has bettered than Lewis with 15 wins

It wasn't a spec series, teams could develop their own parts, the parts in question were fairly limited but it wasn't spec and ASM were the team to beat.
