In my personal experience I have witnessed a number of individuals using the so called race card and thought some were valid and others plain ridiculous. Lewis undoubtably gets treated differently by the press and pundits and if he makes a mistake the innevitable witch hunt ensues. Senna who is my all time fave made very rash decisions on track but was hailed as a pure racing genius, where as Lewis is passed off as an over zealous hot head. It would be such a shame for the sports brightest star

By tons of people who always say:"He has the best car!"
Well, to them I say this: The best drivers end up in the best cars, the best drivers make the cars the best (they play a crucial part in developing them), the best drivers motivate their teams to do better (being a good driver entails having leadership qualities and a positive influence on coworkers) and the best drivers make the best engineers and designers work for them.
People also tend to forget that Hamilton joined teams who weren't world champions and hadn't won a title in years. When he was 2008 world champion for McLaren they hadn't had a world champion since 1999 with Mika Hakkinen. When he joined Mercedes at the end of 2012 they were a distant 5th behind Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari and even Lotus (303 points in 2012 compared to Mercedes's 142).
The only thing that matters is that he beat record-young double world champion Fernando Alonso at McLaren as a *rookie* . So much so that Alonso ripped up his 3-year contract with McLaren and left after a single season.
The fact that he's the 2nd oldest driver in F1 right now and still beating drivers 12-14 years younger than him - many of which are really talented - is saying quite a lot.

I prefer to think of it as similar to the latter half of 1988 (Prost having the upper hand toward the end). When a title was to be won from the front, Senna would often go into a slower safety-mode in order to be sure. We've seen this many times - Jones 80, Piquet 81, Piquet 83, Prost 85, Senna 88, Mansell 92, Hill 96, Alonso 06, Hamilton 08, Button 09.

feels bad for sutil while hamilton get a good team...and sutil got force india....when those team are still in underdog team...he's good team mate tho

Force India is still a good mid field team. Probably the best mid field team. If you're that good the big teams will have an eye on you

Its because sutil proved he is NOWHERE a HALF talent like Lewis. Lewis EARNED that top seat by SHEER talent and skills. Sutil on the other hand proved he DOES earn a F1 seat just NOT in a top seat as he has YET to prove how GOOD he is! He got SMASHED by Lewis as team mate. You get the picture???

Considering where Vettel was in his development curve, Vettel was great at the end of this season.
