They have nothing in common with rolex sports watches. Santos wearer probably DOESNT want to stand out for name but rather distinguish him or herself by displaying their taste in design. I have Rolexes and a Santos 🤷🏻♂️I think the Santos is a real eye catcher and I think any watch enthusiast would appreciate the watch as well as the story it holds.

Yes at one time I wanted to own a Rolex not too much anymore and I know it's great for the grey market but who can be interested in a Submariner for 1974 at the same price as a new one gray-market it's just ridiculous
Dude,…check out the Santos de Cartier Large green dial with steel bracelet and green leather strap, Honestly,…it is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen. Amazing.
But I dont agree with the comparison with Omega. I own two Omegas. The Appolo 8 speedy and the bond on her majesty secret service 50th anniversary limited edition seamaster and I wouldn’t trade them for any rolex.
I'm optimistic on my AD calling me in 3 months for my Rolex. BUT I do want the black santos as my second watch.
