  • The Snap On August 2024 Sale Flyer is here and Snap On is getting creative. They want to get you onto the tool truck. The rechargeable microlithiun cut off tool looks like it could be a nice addition to the tool box. I think the new grab and go carrier is a very interesting product. The door trim tools are on sale, along with ball joint press tools, battery tools, oil service tools, and brake tools. Blue point tools are on sale, and I just noticed some new hand and tool wipes.

I don’t have experience with the snap on plastic wrench holders, but I’ve had similar ones in the past. They aren’t for me, I think the sides are too high and it’s awkward pulling pliers in and out.
I’ve used the cheap wire ones for years now. I’m a big fan of them, great organization and easy to cut down for a smaller drawer or tool cart.

I got one in green. Haven't noticed any difference in reading compared to my Astro 3018. It was a little louder than my previous gauge. One thing you have to be aware is that it takes a long time for it to turn off automatically. I found out after the battery died in around 2 months. Now I just manually turn it off after each use.

As far as the cut off tool 😬 yes I jumped on the wagon and bought it. It is not what I was thinking. 🤔 I mean with any little pressure it stops and u have to reset paddle switch.. very weak . Maybe tin or super thin sheet metal. It is bi directional tho 👍. I have the straight and right angle die grinders and they are the exact same . I thought brushless was supposed to be best of the best. Anyways just my opinion, and I hope it helps someone save a little 💵

I have used the 1920 spray a few times now and I'm happy with it . I used it to clean up a rusty pry bar and it did a great job of it. The only problem I have found is it's real easy to use too much of it and then it can get gummy. Used sparingly it works very well and is a nice alternative or more like a compliment to the wipes.
