Clay , you’re as bad as I am about having a broken set. As many VIM and Mack bit sets as you have I bet you are five or six deep in each of those bits that you got Kevin to order. I think I wake up in a cold sweat if I’ve got a tool missing from a set.
The best thing I've ever found on the SO truck and didn't feel a bit guilty over is their bottle of hand soap. Odd that SO sells it because it takes one drop to clean up one hell of a mess, a bottle will last years. They also sell an "all 10mm" kit that I wasn't sure was an April Fool's joke or not, but it's real I guess. I'm a hutch and sliding-top cart guy. Both allow you to close up what you're working on and come right back to it. It's a work space storage space/time machine combo. Open either up and get right back to right where you left off. Tool storage up that high gets annoying IMO. Unless you're over 6ft, can you really see in all the drawers?
It's a dam good thing he is all the way down South. If I had a dealer with a truck that full, I wouldn't be able to help myself. Our dealer is a joke in comparison. Nothing but half empty shelves and the same old crap that no one needs or wants.
Our guy is the same way. I ordered a long reach 1/2 locking flex head ratchet (in green) waited two months to get it. Our MAC guy is worse. Never has any of the promos advertised in the flyer. NOTHING! It’s frustrating af.
The real question for the 14.4 grease gun is psi rating. On heavy equipment that 14.4 would not grease a whole machine . I have a dewalt 20 and it’s rated at 10k psi. And still drains a battery. Small equipment maybe it would be ok. And we all know most grease zerks are stopped up at well . Just my two cents
I feel like it would be a great idea for a snap on guy to have 1 or 2 times a month just stop at like an O'Reillys or napa and just set aside a couple hours and advertise for all the guys that don't have the truck in there route or the hobby home guys like me to stop and do some shopping. I know I've definitely chased them down before to try and spend money lol

Yeah Clay I got my couple 100 tooth ratchets about a year ago or when they first came out, however, I kinda like the defects on the 100 tooth ratchets 🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
Everyone who's not in the industry asks about each piece lol I work heavy duty and we have drivers that get on the truck and are absolutely shocked at the price we pay for our tools. Then they assume the company pays out tool bill. It's hilarious when they realize we pay a lot to do our job
I'm a network engineer so not in any automotive industry and I still buy a lot of MAC and SnapOn. When I buy tools I buy them expecting them last until I'm too old to use them anymore. The only time I might buy something cheap is if it's a once and done will never use it again tool or it's in my "Here borrow that" tool drawer.
I have a full set of Flank Drives and Flank Drive Plus I have SAE 1/4 - 7/8. If I wasn’t about to transition to a different job I’d jump on the metrics
Im definitely a hutch kind of guy and i have it full of shelves and tools etc. Its like my office area. But im out of room and a top chest would be nice as well lol
@KoonTrucking No the jaw on them is different, don't have regular teeth. Set I got came with standard slip jaws, the other set is the same as that loose pair in that promo.
Yeah.. why couldn’t he? Probably might not let you set up a tool truck account and make you pay cash right up front. My Matco guy was very hesitant at first me being an hour and 45 away but he trusted me enough to set up an account!
Call snap on directly as you might get an industrial rep to come to your shop. He’s not a tool truck guy. He doesn’t have a truck, but he represents the industrial side of the company and can help you get anything you need. I wasn’t automotive I was industrial/technical and I had a Proto rep and a snap on rep
In my opinion no! Of course they are nice but they are a luxury like most Snapon tools. Same as a big Mercedes. Nice to have if you can afford it but not a necessity. There are more important things in life. 1. get a mortgage 2. a nice car 3. some savings for bad times + retirement. If you have all of the above go and buy a crazy expensive tool box. That’s it for normal techs. If you are a financially well of business owner go for it 👍 But I’ve seen many 20somethings buying big boxes and putting themselves in debt to the eye balls paying 15 or 20 percent interest that’s just madness. 4. All newer dealerships have built in tool cabinets and the Indy shops are going to follow. Many techs don’t need a toolbox anymore. ( I‘m not from the US maybe the US is different)
Sorry to say been watching for years but this snap on Guy is strange 😅😅 the teenage contacts and him fidgeting around not sure whats going on here clay

Ole Kevin is going to turn out to be on of Snap On’s top Rep’s! He is a straight up Guy!
Well stocked truck. His own promos, giveaways…. I wish our dealer was half as dedicated as this dude.
I’d love to see a video with him and Hamlton together if you could get him to stop by that would be really cool
I really like this new snap-on guy he looks like he will be helping you out to whatever you’re needing. I wish we had someone like him in my area

That blue box is a master. I have a 73 master and i love that box.
I wish my snap on guy was this good. My snapon guy is a complete POS!
Sorry, but I keep expecting to hear "It's Snap On Friday... Lol...
Old habits die hard...🤷🤣
No kidding

Love the info & heads up on snapon deals I love my 84 epic. I've been look for a pistol grip long nosehose clamps with 90" angle
Happy with my 100 anniversary epiq box
Picked up a pair of snap on socks today for my snap on Thursday. Unfortunately he sold the 1/2 ratchet I was looking at last week.
He will get another one!

I think they need to do a 40 V because even doing cars and small equipment you eat batteries.
I love snap on part numbers they’re so simple. I hate companies like VIM… 😂

What’s the part # for the 14.4v grease gun?
What's the part number on that cleaner?
Mac daddy coming back anytime soon?
Clay what are those pliers in that impact deal used for? I bought a set of pliers and got a pair and have no idea what they are used for.
Just standard slip joint pliers. They have been around for a hundred of years.
@KoonTrucking No the jaw on them is different, don't have regular teeth. Set I got came with standard slip jaws, the other set is the same as that loose pair in that promo.
Nice it feels good 👍
Where does he get his contact from
So did you throw him a bone or did you NOT get vims master set ?
Yes I have VIM master set also and a Matco set and a Gearwrench set
I work in a cabinet shop so we don’t have any tool trucks stop by, my question is can the snap on guy in my area sell to me?
