- This is a proof-of-concept TAS for the new cursed warp but this time with better movement.

Might desync but it fixes itself once you restart PCSX2 or restart recording (available only when playing a input file) (Remember to not have any memory cards inserted to PCSX2)

Why the sudden menu pauses?
Faster loads + in few parts required to avoid game crash
my tas is constantly desyncing. any idea why that may be?
What version of PCSX2 are you using? Latest nightly isn't recommended at least for now because it crashes a lot when TASsing. Other reasons for desyncs are that you have multithreading enabled which makes desyncing happen more often or using savestates in certain areas causes desyncs so you would have to tas them by playbacking the tas to the point where the desync is and continue from it and then check if it desynced and if it didn't then create a savestate and continue tassing.

I can never successfully do the first glitch in the game 1:17 that jump gap with the coconut.
The nut has to be placed right between two chunks (inside a chunk link which connects those chunks), and once it's on the spot, Crash has to cross the chunk link while being on top of the nut
I thought the best speedrun in this game was 13 minutes
New strat was found so that's why time has lowered by few minutes, and this is a TAS anyways.

NTSC-U 1.0 has fastest loads on PS2 than other PS2 versions.
What would be necessary to break the 10:50 barrier? Like a faster setup for the cursed splash?
Faster load times is easiest because we can use Fast CDVD on PCSX2 which is close to OPL load times iirc. If without faster loads then probably finding a way to skip parts of ant agony or faster setup somewhere. Maybe even abusing super slides but very unlikely.

@@ssg-eggunner OpenPS2Loader is homebrew software that allows launching games from external media like USB, HDD/SSD, Ethernet (SMB), and microSD memory card adapters. In order to use OPL, you need a way of launching it, like FMCB, FHDB, Opentuna on a memory card, or FDVDB, which is a burned DVD that works on slim models, or just a basic modchip installed. MrMario2011 has great tutorials on this topic.

@@ssg-eggunner Yes, if your PS2 is a fat model, then it requires the HDD adapter that has ethernet in it; with all slims, they already have ethernet built in. You just need to have a SMB server on a computer that the PS2 can connect to.

@@netherfreakultima4498 Because this game is broken and has a lot of glitches, that are part of it. All speedrunners do to any game is utilising these glitches. Btw this is TAS (i don't know how exactly it works but you can look it up), no human can play perfectly like this.
