I have such great memories of this game. I was a kid at the time and I'd never played a 3D world that seemed so open before. I loved the music and the level design, but I couldn't get passed the iceberg lab level, and I haven't played it since I was 10! You can't imagine my joy at seeing a Tas of this! Even as a kid, I learned to break stuff in the game occasionally, but good lord I knew the game was broken but to be a ridiculous like this raises my love of this game even more

I've never never seen a Crash Twinsanity TAS made in any category before, let alone a 100% TAS.
And I wanna see one done on Wrath of Cortex in the 106% category or something by anybody someday.
This is mostly proof of concept of what is possible and how quickly twins could be finished with this route (normal route). It still has minor movement mistakes, and all of the possible skips/strats weren't used.

Also 5:06 never knew this was possible (and many others tricks in this vid) but other than that, had a blast watching one of my favs PS2 games get destroyed.

How are you inmune to nitros sometimes?
It's a glitch called zombie which puts Crash into this weird state where he is suppose to be dead but isn't because of a cutscene.
I have a question How not affected by bombs And does not die in the water Is this a modified version or what? If it is modified, I would like a link to the game from you
It's the original copy of the game, and you are most likely referring to a glitch called Zombie, which makes most things not kill you.

I thought the ball glitch in aa wasn't consistent cause it relies on lag. How can TAS make it happen every time?
Trying until it happens by doing slightly different movement
@@Sestain so if it doesn't happen in a run, crash will still attempt it untill he gets it?
@@Mihalakick The way tas makes it happen every time is to try different things until the desired condition is found. So basically trial and error. I'm the one who made the tas so I had to try it multiple times until I got the ball glitch with save states.

Can we all agree that Slip Slide Icecapades has a banger theme (especially at 19:50)? By the way, why do you sometimes pause the game?
Pausing makes loads faster, and not sure what pits you are talking about but probably faster in some way since it was done in this TAS.
@@Sestain I mean that you sometimes get rid of one of your lives by purposefully falling into a pit when you collect certain gems, but I think you're probably doing that so you don't need to backtrack after getting said gem.
I thought it was impossible to emulate this game, does this work on PCSX2 1.7?
It works pretty well but loading times are little faster at least for now. Note: This game has been emulated pretty well for a long time since 2014 I think.

How is possible to walk in water and toxic? Have you use a cheat or something that makes crash invisible? You also didnt lose to some nitros
Zombie glitch, it's a state where you die but don't respawn in a cutscene (works only with certain ones)
@@Sestain but you didnt die, you just slide like it was a normal ground
@@OldGamerGR Yea, that's a side effect zombie does. Once you are in zombie state you can't die but from certain things and to deactivate the state you need to get a mask or die

That's a long jump, long jumps are done by first doing a slide jump and then jumping off from a ledge causing the jump to have higher momentum
