i literally just left echo 1-61 september 18th. i was a hold over in charlie waiting to ship to ait. y’all could have gotten us to help !! 😂 we literally just watched movies all day.

Pretty crazy watching this, this was my cycle and it seems like Day 0 was just yesterday. Won't ever forget the experience for sure.

@@Ghiscari You're talking to me as if I had any control over how it was. Personally, I felt like that shit was soft as fuck but there's nothing myself or the drill sergeants can do about that. My basic training experience is mine and I won't forget it. Y̶o̶u̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶o̶w̶n̶, but don't talk to me as if I had any control over it. When I was at fort Leonard wood last year Aug - Nov. We were chased off the bus and ran 200 or so yards up hill, to be corralled like sheep in a formation as the drill sergeants were spider monkey jumping all over the place throwing bags and screaming like maniacs. I actually thought it was funny but I surely did not show it. The most stressful part about the pick up was trying to find my bag in the pile while having time being counted down. Then the next morning a locker was kicked across the bay at 4:00 wake up, it slammed into a support beam with a loud bang and someone started crying. Then the next night a fight broke out in my bay. Ah good memories. Let's do it again!

After watching this, I am ever sooo glad that I had the Drill Sergeants that I had back in early 1988, who made me first into the NICO and then Officer that I became over my 28 yr. military career.
I was thinking the same thing Austin. Way quieter than my zero day and we got hearded like cattle onto cattle trailers on zero day!
When I was in basic less than a month ago I hated the drill sargents but it's interesting to see that they are human to and actually have lives.

I miss it. DS's go through basic training about 15 times in their whole career. But i would do it again in a heart beat!piece of advice....extend a third year and try to go to the school house. Life after being a drill is definitely not the same. Glad to be out!

@@adjuaayoluwa892 start practicing leg tucks if you haven’t already and eat healthy but you’re going to miss fast food while you’re there be up to date on all your shots and just go there do your best and don’t lose sight of your reason why and don’t give up
