iPwnR this is too accurate. Never actually heard words during a beating.... just unintelligible screaming.
iPwnR I also did in Georgia XD
Wow
One of my Drill Sergeants had a slight stutter as well.
In the air Force we had one. Took him an extra min. But he got his point

That is awesome

As a guy with a stutter like this, this skit was relatable, hilarious, and accurate
KCKFilms same
It just doesn't make sense to me. Why not just speak instead of interrupting yourself.
buck smoke go up to a person in a wheelchair and say, why can’t you just walk?
See....
I stutter as well and I do relate very much
I went through a period of stuttering like this. I remember one day in particular. It was horrible.
I really enjoy the accuracy of when the drill sergeant was singing his lines at 1:50. Singing and speech follow different pathways in the brain, so people who stutter can sometimes sing perfectly fine without stuttering. Whoever wrote this really did their research.
As someone who stutters and went through speech therapy I back this, of course it varies from case to case but we can sing without a stutter although in speech therapy they usually teach us other methods then breaking out into song every time we stutter
Well, except for the part where any junior enlisted would get immediately facefucked for calling a drill "sir"
Maybe accurate on stuttering part, but Army only calls officers sir. Drill instructors expect to be called drill sergeant. Anything other than that will get you smoked!
yeah, the singer Gareth Gates is a good example if you watch his audition video

Seth McFarlane definitely needs to do more on screen work. He’s definitely good actor and he didn’t break character once.

DRock6906 that for thanks
As a person who stutters, he plays it pretty accurately
That Seth sure he will play it right
I stopped my stuttering by repeating the words in my mind first and then saying them to myself over and over slowly. Breaking the words down by using the syllable format. Like " Hospital " I'd break it down by concentrating on the word in my mind, then would go Hos·pi·tal super slow and build up as I get more comfortable with repeating them. (Hospital) was a daunting word for me to master without stuttering and I stuttered that word for many years. Then, I repeated the problem words or sentences faster and faster till I got it at a more normal speech rate pattern. Stuttering was a serious challenge so I feel for others who have that problem.
I know, right. Great impression, right down to the classic avoidance tactic of "word substitution." Like when he coundnt say give me twenty, he said give me five and five and five and five. As a stutterer, I know exactly what's that like. Some words I simply cannot get out of my mouth, so I use a different word that I can actually say instead. But sometimes there is no way around it. Stutterers really suffer and no one who doesn't stutter can really know what it feels like. You cannot explain it. You have to live it to know.
2019(G) “Respect and dignity.” Furthermore: (“Respect and dignity!”) ••• “Respect and dignity, 2019?”
Worst stutter of my life: (I’ve only stuttered, maybe like 8 times? Idk)
So back in school with my friends, we were walking around, and I saw the CUTEST DOG EVER (some type of corgi I think), and I said (or rather, attempted saying): Hey guys! Look over there!
It came out as “Hey guys, l l l llll l l l lu lu lu lu lu lu lu lu lu......... lu lu lulu.....(It was at this moment, he knew, he gave up.)
Over there!”
This actually feels like a well fleshed out Family Guy cutaway gag.

Same here but my dad would get mad and told me either get it out or don’t talk
A stutter makes you smarter because you learn people
the_chubby _jedi ok yes I so can relate. My dad pulled me out of speech therapy and then continued to get angry every time I stuttered. And awkward silences and the worst thing for me when it comes to stuttering. I sing for a band though and I can sing fine, just talking is harder for some reason. It’s improved a lot though
John Farley what have you done to fix it?

He actually does have a small stutter but it’s only heard doing interviews when nervous.
That was pretty much old-school writing, right there. A simple premise played out in an evocative way, without the crutch of blueness, developed well, and with a tidy out. Great work.
Also no political bullshit
@@reissnerjify Dude, they've been doing political stuff since episode 1.
37 years stuttering, Thank you for making this skit. It shows the truth of what we go through, it also gives the ok to break barriers with humor. I say this in jouste. I did basic at another fort that called D'S DRILL SARGENTS. Then did over half of my 20 at Ft Leonardwood. Leonardwood, at least back then called D'S Sargents.
FYI, FT Sam Houston, also only addressed them a Sargent. It was funny. Because when I did AIT at Ft. Sam I was am E5. And had already spent time at Ft. Leonardwood. So one of my first question was. Do we address you as Drill Sargent or Sargent? Now as far as I know, and this is because all D'S I knew at Ft Sam, went to drill Sargent school at Ft Leonardwood.
As far as I know those are the only two that called D'S Sargents.
And don’t even think of calling him sarge (at least in my case) he’d say “do I look like a bottom feeding fish?!?!!!!”
