It is a beautiful bear, you seemed to feel a little upset about taking it well give thanks and show the respect that is needed I;m sure your reason for taking such a beauty is a good one
Hunting over bait gives me the opportunity to observe the bears so i can take a boar and not shoot a sow that may have cubs up a tree close by. You would not have that opportunity if you were to pursue them in the woods on foot. I spent many a evening just watching bears interact with each other around the barrel and learn lots and get some awesome film footage. Baiting may not seem fair chase to you ,and that is OK, but i feel it is a very ethical way to hunt bears. Thanks for your comment.

I don't understand how shooting animals over bait is sporting or fair chase.
