Same here. Got that idea from another guy. Didn't work on 05 330ci (almost same as 07 BTW). Is that little rectangle snap in part the clutch safety switch? I'll just buy a new one since the yellow purple/blue black hack didn't work. Appreciate the video but the music and your soft voice I had a hard time hearing. After 2 hours under the footwell, last thing a guy wants to hear is porno music. LOL
I have a problem with my car starting i press the clutch in and the ignition turns on and off but the car does not start will this be the cause of the problem
There my be a way to bypass but I don’t know it, the computer is looking for a value range from this sensor not just a on/ off signal. So also this is used for your cruise control so I think that will no longer work if you bypass it
@@dirtykurty92yep I had the problem with the sensor and what I did is I take carly and there a option too write out the sensor but you have too long press start button otherwise it will start and cutt of again ... hipe it helps next time
Thank you so much man. Bought a no crank no start E92… dude had the clutch switch taken out. You helped me find where it goes. Thanks!
Love it man! Happy it was such a simple fix for you!
I can’t figure out how to unplug the wire pigtail from it! I wish you had shown that.
Bro I cut the black and blue and the link and yellow on my e46 and now I got no cranking really upset, was trying to bypass the switch
I’m not sure about bypassing the system sorry

When you try to start it, does it still ask you to push in the clutch?
@@dirtykurty92 yes mate it comes up saying press clutch to start, mines a f30 320d
Definitely worth a try sounds like could be that sensor!
@@dirtykurty92 thank you ill give it a try and let you no the results
@@JSR00000 good luck buddy!
Does this have to be replaced or just unplugged and back in
Some time it falls out of place, In that case you my be able to just put back in, but if it has failed, then replacement will be required
thank you will try unplugging first
Is that sensor same for E60 525D?
I do believe it is the same
my car does not stop if I keep my foot on the clutch. when I want to start it, the start button must appear twice. could it be because of this sensor?
Say that again, I’m not sure what you mean
Can this switch be taken out
you can not just remove it no
Is it possible to bypass this

I have orderd a new one .Best be safe
