Oh well if it isn't the boys that talk about Grand Seiko a lot. Well today Michael and Christian put their money where their mouth is and BOTH buy Grand Seikos! Originally Christian was going to buy the Cherry Blossom from the Four Seasons Collection but he decided once again, Michael is a genius and a trend setter with incredible taste and the Omiwatari was the way to go.

Totally guys... As amazing as the grand seiko is, the prices are totally crazy... My 50 bucks Casio Duro witha 200M water resist does the same job while looking really great... With Rolex vibes... 😅😅😅

Awesome flow in this video..But GUYS!! You forgot to show everyone that gorgeous movement housing the power reserve engraved in blue on it´s 3/4 bridge...To die for. I´m so happy I recently purchased my (now discontinued) SBGR251 instead of a 36 DJ. At 37mm with a sunburst silver dial and it´s zaratsu polished case it´s just so timeless, crisp, clean, classy yet low key it´s mindboggling.

Yesterday I had to decide: Patek Nautilus blue dial or an old Swatch Once Again in 34m with a worn out plastic strap - guess what: I took the Swatch. It simply corresponds more to my inner attitude and it just shows more exclusivity at the next dinner party in Park Avenue. Gosh, I love that Swatch ..... forget Patek, AP and Cartier - you see it everywhere

Good job Michael. By admitting your fault, instead of the usual lying denial, you admitted fault. It diffused the situation and gave you good karma. I wear the GS Snowflake every day. I have more expensive watches, but the GS is my favorite. You guys are great together. So comfortable in front of the camera.

The SBGY011 and SBGY009 .... same movement and idea... different dials obviously, but with 100m water resistance... I agree completely that no one works harder for your money than Grand Seiko.

Everybody is going on about the pink GS Spring season (which is nice i admit, i personally prefer the Winter), but noone knows GS made a blue version of it, the SBGA397, which blows all of them out of the water.
Yeah but that reference is nearly impossible to get. The SBGA127 is a good alternative (lacquered blue sunburst dial, titanium 62GS case)

Christian has almost identical taste in watches and style as me. Smaller classic look. No bracelet! Leather straps on all my watches.
I think I maybe the only person in the world that does not LOVE the GS. I went to an AD and tried the cherry blossom spring drive on. Nice watch, cool dial but very light (titanium I know) and flimsy. It did not feel like my Tudor or Omega, not substantial. Just did not work for me. I do like larger watches. Bought a Jaquet Droz Grande seconde instead, like new condition for much less money, crocodile strap, enamel dial, elegant finishing on hands an mini dials and I am very happy. GS is not for everyone.
I don't know if i should watch this video, i'v been wanting a GS for a while now, this video is dangerous for my wallet, haha.
SBGY007 is not 30m water resistance.The official specs says it is splash resistant only.Not brilliant at this price

No idea who Theo and Harris are, but Adrian’s surname is Barker. He started B&J with an old friend who’s surname was Jackson I believe. He did an episode a while back explaining it

No Theo or harris! I started the company in college and I always wanted to to be much larger than me. And because I wasn’t creative enough to think of a cool play on a foreign word like HODINKEE, and far too tasteful for a play on watch nomenclature, I settled for two rich sounding names hahahaha

The SBGY007 is a great GS, but it's predecessor, the SBGY003 is the exact same watch with a much more attractive radial dial. It was also limited to 700 pieces. Both great watches, but the SBGY003 is slightly more appealing IMO.
I don’t think you know what “more prejudicial than probative” means.
If you prefer the other GS, just buy it and replace the goddamn bracelet with a leather strap. I do it all the time when I buy a watch with a bracelet. What's the big deal? In fact, if you ever decide to flip the watch, the bracelet will be pristine. There's no down side.
When you guys are older, say 50's, you'll look back on your silliness here as, well, just silly. Mark my words !!

Hey Christian, dummy, take the bracelet off and put it on a strap. I bought this watch for my wife and we share it on a black perlon strap. My guess is you could find about a half dozen straps in your shop that would work beautifully. Let me know if you want me to “curate” you a collection. ;-)
