Stripped Bolt/Cross Threaded Bolt Hole SUPER HACK! Fix Almost Any Stripped Bolt Hole!

- I've got a SWEET stripped bolt / stripped bolt hole hack that's guaranteed to work on almost any stripped bolt hole. If you've got cross threaded bolts and can't seem to tighten your bolts, give this a try! You could always rethread the bolt hole, but you might not have the tools, so I figured I'd show you how! If you need to know how to fix a stripped bolt hole this will be the best method if you don't have a bolt hole tap and die kit. You won't always be able to retap a hole the same size, in most cases you'll be going the next size up. If you were thinking you could use Loctite on a stripped bolt. They do make a Loctite that does work for fixing stripped threads. But I only recommend that in a pinch!! If you needed to know how to fix stripped threads this will definitely save you some headache!

Quick question. I've seen videos like this where a slot is cut in the end of the bolt and I've seen videos where slots are cut into the thread on the sides of the bolt (to make a thread cutter / kind of a thread chaser). Any thoughts on the two methods and which is best for cross threaded holes? Thanks!
if it's a blind hole you can try a tap, then use a new bolt. If the threads still pull out then tap the next size, which may be metric or SAE to get just enough extra meat.

None of my supplied 10 mm bolts are going any of my to millimeter holes I get about three turns in on each screw and they all stop at the same limit what does this mean everything I have is brand new none of its used
