My mom passed away 2 days ago and it has been the most painful experience of my life. This practice helped get me moving and out of my head at 3AM. When you said “you are not alone” that reminded me of one of her favorite songs and that she is with me whenever I go. Thank you, Adrienne. ❤
I frequently am in awe of how each daily practice is exactly what I need from you♥️ Today was really hard. Jasmine my cat of 16 passed away suddenly last evening. Since March of 2020 every morning we did yoga together with you. Each day she slept beside me on the couch keeping me company as I worked from home. It was so hard not having her. Hey Adrienne, I almost died last weekend and I survived by the skin of my teeth. I was sucked out into the ocean by a harsh rip tide and I couldn't remember how to swim out. I was exhausted and started to panic. I've been doing Yoga with Adrienne for a few years and I'm not on day 19 of your 30 day challenge; thinking about your calming voice and practicing the breathing techniques you've shown me helped me to calm myself enough so that I at least thought my death would be more peaceful. In the end a surfer saved my life. But I wanted to say that appreciate you Adrienne, thank you.

I am here a day early since the new calendar practice for December 5 (Breathe) is not available yet on YT or FWFG. This was just what was needed though as I found stress creeping in this Monday after not accomplishing as much as I planned ahead of my move next month. I feel good now even if I would rather stay home and not work today. 😛 Breathe day 6. 792 days in a row.
Doing Refresh in April 2022 and chose this one today, out of order for the calendar. Somehow this was the exact right choice for me today. Started having an anxiety attack and immediately came here to find some peace ♥️ started my practice in full tears and ended in a big smile, full of love.
This is exactly what I needed today. My husband had a surgical procedure done yesterday and it was a long day of waiting and sitting in very uncomfortable chairs. This morning I woke up with a stress knot under my right shoulder blade which often happens when I’m stressed and tense. It was really hurting when I started this practice and now it is completely gone. Thank you for this beautiful practice!! Definitely saving this one 😊.
This practice made me realize that we often get overwhelmed when we're nervous or anxious. And we go looking elsewhere for solutions but we have the best remedy for feeling this way and it's our breath. Our breath is so incredible at calming us and ridding our minds of the monkey thoughts; leaving behind that which really matters. Thank you A
I never believed that breathing techniques could actually make me feel less anxious or help me at all. I was probably the biggest non supporter of this technique. I got to a point where i had to try as I did not want to be on medicine. Best thing I ever did was open up my mind and gave it a chance and really try to focus. It does take practice and dedication but I am able to feel the difference with my anxiety. Many blessings!!!

I was able to rise up from the last asana without falling back, or shaking, by pressing into my feet steadily and it legit made me want to cry out happy tears. I keep falling off track when it comes to my yoga practise, but nailing a new asana every time I get back to the mat brings me such joy! Thank you for this calming yet testing routine, Adriene! ❤️

Thank you for sharing Saziye... Our personalities or internal dialogue can be very entertaining! My "imagined dialogue" was centered with excitement that there's space for growth (that's one of the things I enjoy about Adriene, she shows it)... if I keep this up, look where I can grow with my physical vehicle. At that particular point, I could barely keep my balance, so I am "working on balance"... like "the wall'll catch me" balance, and using an "assistive device" (my dresser) to help hold myself up sometimes during this practice. Anyway, your dialogue made me smile!! "This is the practice!" - I have said that a lot to recordings of Adriene :P When she sung "you are not alone" ... these relatable and common experiences repeatedly prove it.

ROOT | April 16, 2023 | I am so happy that I saved this one for my travel day. It was the perfect medicine after sitting on airplanes most of the day. The only thing missing was a coffee grinder so I added that in at the end for a little digestive support. This made me feel so much better! 🙏

I've gone almost 25 years letting my stress and anxiety totally rule my life, holding me back from reaching my potential and not acknowledging that I had an issue and to just "get on with it"......well I have well and truly reached my breaking point, and in desperation thought i'd try yoga even though in the past it did nothing for me. Yesterday was a rainy cold grey winter day perfect for rainy Day Yoga and today I was on the phone trying to straighten out a bill for over an hour before settling into Yoga for Anxiety and Stress. You mentioned the importance of making time for the things that are important to you, and that's a message I keep hearing that I finally understand. I make time to get home early enough to have my nighttime routine which involves a cup of cherry juice with the book that I'm reading. That way I wake up refreshed enough to workout before work, if I don't feel like going to a workout at 5:45 I know as long as I make it to my mat by 6:30 I can still start my day with refreshing movement. Thank you for this practice, and for helping calm my head and heart enough to show up as myself.
Wonderful! Just what I needed. Being on holiday and received some stressful news. Problems that isn't easy to solve when you are away. Doing yoga on the hotel roof, doing this practice at the same time as the sun rises. Couldn't be better.

Thank you Adrian, I recently caught Covid last month. And survived but I have been dealing with anxiety, chronic fatigue, joint and muscle pain, and nerve pain. My anxiety and nerve pain was so bad, I wanted to give up. I’ve been in and out of hospitals, have seen multiple doctors and no solutions they say I’m fine. My mind has played with me far too long, I was a healthy man prior to. And I’m determined to get there. Thank you and your videos, they have given me a renewed hope. I do them almost 4 times a day. I will defeat my symptoms

Thank you so much, Adriene. I loved when you said: "You are not alone", I know you meant it, as you are not the only person who feels this way. But when I heard it, I felt the literal meaning, which is something I needed to hear. As apparently I have the gift of pissing people off (telling them all the things they don't like to hear) and make them "flock together" to show how much they not like me. So it feels lonely and even oppresive many times. So listening: "You are not alone" feels like a breeze of fresh air into your lungs, right when you felt you were running out of it!

The last ten days have been wrought with high stakes challenges, emotional turmoil, brutal physical pain, and life altering decision after life altering decision. To say I am frayed would be a vast understatement of fact. YWA has help me to find the ground and today, I really needed the breath with movements to put me back into my body. Thank you, Adriene. It's exceedingly rare for me to do yoga twice in a day, but as I drove home listening to the news this evening I felt like YWA was calling me. To be honest, I'm so scared and overwhelmed with uncertainty about our world right now that I just sat down on my mat and cried through most of the initial breath work. But then I got it together, and I found the standing wide-legged forward fold to be particularly helpful to my mood, and then of course the balance poses required so much concentration that they were extra refreshing. Thank you for brightening my outlook if even for a few moments.
Can I share something...I like to have a good cry when I am overwhelmed or scared. I cry a lot!!! I think we are all going to be ok. We might have a more flexible life schedule and less stress moving forward. You are not alone. I promise you!!! Namaste!!!

My "imagined dialogue" was centered with excitement that there's space for growth (that's one of the things I enjoy about Adriene, she shows it)... if I keep this up, look where I can grow with my physical vehicle.
At that particular point, I could barely keep my balance, so I am "working on balance"... like "the wall'll catch me" balance, and using an "assistive device" (my dresser) to help hold myself up sometimes during this practice.
Anyway, your dialogue made me smile!!
"This is the practice!" - I have said that a lot to recordings of Adriene :P
When she sung "you are not alone" ... these relatable and common experiences repeatedly prove it.
All I did was play this in my headphones in my cold bus ride to the airport & I felt safe... thank you 🙏 😊

Oh did I need this this morning. I laid in bed filled with nerves and anxiety about Election Day and decided that whatever Adriene had in store would be beneficial, especially given the theme this month of GROUND. This practice was absolutely perfect. Thank you!
ROOT | April 16, 2023 | I am so happy that I saved this one for my travel day. It was the perfect medicine after sitting on airplanes most of the day. The only thing missing was a coffee grinder so I added that in at the end for a little digestive support. This made me feel so much better! 🙏

Oh Adriene, I couldn't just thank you enough for doing this RUclips channel. For the last 4 years, it is my place to go when I'm feeling down, and it helped me to cope with lots of difficulties in my personal and professional life. I've gone almost 25 years letting my stress and anxiety totally rule my life, holding me back from reaching my potential and not acknowledging that I had an issue and to just "get on with it"......well I have well and truly reached my breaking point, and in desperation thought i'd try yoga even though in the past it did nothing for me. I'm so grateful I happened to click on one of your videos Adrienne! I have never felt as at peace as I do during and after these practices. I'm so excited for the future now that I have yoga as my secret weapon to tackle life with. Thank you

I am on day 3 of Love Yo' Self February and it is uncanny how the videos are just perfect timing. Yesterday was a rainy cold grey winter day perfect for rainy Day Yoga and today I was on the phone trying to straighten out a bill for over an hour before settling into Yoga for Anxiety and Stress. Thank you!

You mentioned the importance of making time for the things that are important to you, and that's a message I keep hearing that I finally understand. I make time to get home early enough to have my nighttime routine which involves a cup of cherry juice with the book that I'm reading. That way I wake up refreshed enough to workout before work, if I don't feel like going to a workout at 5:45 I know as long as I make it to my mat by 6:30 I can still start my day with refreshing movement.
Thank you for this practice, and for helping calm my head and heart enough to show up as myself.
Wonderful! Just what I needed. Being on holiday and received some stressful news. Problems that isn't easy to solve when you are away. Doing yoga on the hotel roof, doing this practice at the same time as the sun rises. Couldn't be better.

Thank you Adrian, I recently caught Covid last month. And survived but I have been dealing with anxiety, chronic fatigue, joint and muscle pain, and nerve pain. My anxiety and nerve pain was so bad, I wanted to give up. I’ve been in and out of hospitals, have seen multiple doctors and no solutions they say I’m fine.
My mind has played with me far too long, I was a healthy man prior to. And I’m determined to get there. Thank you and your videos, they have given me a renewed hope. I do them almost 4 times a day. I will defeat my symptoms

Thank you so much, Adriene. I loved when you said: "You are not alone", I know you meant it, as you are not the only person who feels this way. But when I heard it, I felt the literal meaning, which is something I needed to hear. As apparently I have the gift of pissing people off (telling them all the things they don't like to hear) and make them "flock together" to show how much they not like me. So it feels lonely and even oppresive many times. So listening: "You are not alone" feels like a breeze of fresh air into your lungs, right when you felt you were running out of it!

The last ten days have been wrought with high stakes challenges, emotional turmoil, brutal physical pain, and life altering decision after life altering decision. To say I am frayed would be a vast understatement of fact. YWA has help me to find the ground and today, I really needed the breath with movements to put me back into my body. Thank you, Adriene. Love your show.
It's exceedingly rare for me to do yoga twice in a day, but as I drove home listening to the news this evening I felt like YWA was calling me. To be honest, I'm so scared and overwhelmed with uncertainty about our world right now that I just sat down on my mat and cried through most of the initial breath work. But then I got it together, and I found the standing wide-legged forward fold to be particularly helpful to my mood, and then of course the balance poses required so much concentration that they were extra refreshing. Thank you for brightening my outlook if even for a few moments.
Can I share something...I like to have a good cry when I am overwhelmed or scared. I cry a lot!!! I think we are all going to be ok. We might have a more flexible life schedule and less stress moving forward. You are not alone. I promise you!!! Namaste!!!
