Great video! I followed along, and everything seemed to work, but when I tried to calibrate the gimbal, it got stuck at 10% and then gave a 40003 error (gimbal motor overload). All axes can move freely. I'm not sure what went wrong. Thank you for the no-nonsense and easy-to-follow video!

Hello, i broke the yaw cover of my dji mini 2 gimbal. Would you recommend changing the full gimbal or is not too complicated to change just the yaw? Thanks for your time.
So I’m kind of in a bit of a struggle with remove the four screws under the legs. How can I get them out? I tried using different small screwdriver tips (like removing the tip of the screwdriver with other ones) and it won’t come out, only like two of the screws come out but the other two won’t. Please I need help!
I can't seem to pry the top cover open. I removed all four screws and managed to pry it open a bit on both ends but there seems to be something near the middle of the drone that fastens the cover to the body of the drone. I'm afraid if I use any more force I will break it.
@@djiSolutions when I tried the "calibration firmware" it just stops and doesn't advance after a few percent :( doesn't get near to end where I need to turn drone up
@JonnyWaldes You must put your dron facing up when it arrives to 90%. Then leave it right there till it completes calibration. You may have to try a few times to complete it, but I can tell you that it works fine
I just ordered the gimbal to replace. Do I need a software to calibrate I see that you didn’t use any software. I will be keeping same camera only the housing broke. I would appreciate any tips. I have a MacBook so not sure how to get any software if needed. Thank
There was a small hairline crack because I had a drop unit and it must have moved and covered the sensors so when I went to land it hit the floor pretty fast because it didn't know the floor was coming it flipped over end 1 prop blade broke i superglue the crack and just need to see if the noise stops
Oh wow that's nuts you actually fixed it... No error code issues because ultimately it was the same camera wasn't it? You just changed the frame and gimbal arm of it?
How much usually cost to change gimbal?... dron flight well and camera movies in any direction... i have problem with quality of video... time to time its shoots well but time to time just picture folling to parts( lkke radio waves, if i can say it) i bring it to local service center, they took it for one week and after diagnostic (50 euro) they told that need to change gimble.... might it be connected with gimble ???
I got the same problem and i saw in videos that i had to download python then other BS to calibrate the mini 2 gimbal and they did the same thing you did so i didn't fix my drone but i see your video i can do what you did but when it comes with computers no way i get lost.

Eventually I managed to do it using a large screwdriver to loosen the plastic clips from the inside.
so the camer itself and the cable for the camera, if you change those 2 onto the next housing, you dont need to recalibrate?
Change cable not problem, change gimbal will have error 40011, change camera will have 40021.

Use it's camera, just change the gimbal. If you change the camera you will have error 40021 but that error also can be removed.
