@@VolvoCamperLife finally I crashed my drone. Just indoor drop von 1 1/2m maybe on some wooden table. So I disassembled it. One connection was somehow loose, but it didn’t want to work again. I choose the DJI service. And it was awesome!!! Just took eight days and I took some shots after I got it back. If you want to check it out here is the link DJI Service - Thank You! I linked your channel also in the description below, because you helped me disassembling my mini2. Still no need for the mini3, but I was lucky to film it with my mini 2.

Nice vid. Hot tip (no pun intended), once you dip soldering iron in Flux wipe the crud off on a damp sponge then apply a small amount of solder to the tip to act as a heat transfer. The solder joint will melt faster and avoid lifting the circuit traces on the board. For small close in work like you did a smaller tip would serve you well too. Blue skies.

This was an awesome video. Good job! I have a few suggestions that you could consider. First since it was already completely soaked with water, I would totally soak in deionized water each part and board using the brush followed by a soak in 70% alcohol and again brushing clean then dry on paper towels with a blow dryer. The metal square cans most likely contain the RF radio chips and are shielded. If possible, pry those off to get a good soaking/cleaning inside those and dry well before assembly. You could bake the boards in the oven at say 250 Deg F for 20 minutes to dry completely without any harm. Use fresh solder on each connection to the motors and use heat sink paste to better transfer heat when placing the heat sink to the bottom.

    Ty for this!
I have the original mini..will one day either upgrade to mini 2 or something more pricey.
But, my power button is not wanting to work correctly and saw quite a few of us have this issue. Well, I've had mine for about 3+ years now so for sure no longer under warranty.
Saw a video of a person taking theirs to a drone repair shop. We don't have those here. Closest is about 2hrs away. Anyway, theirs was dirty and the button was sticking.
Mine still works but I have to apply much more pressure than I should to get it to turn on. I'll be taking it apart, cleaning it and checking everything soon. Ty for showing how everything opens!

Mine drone was stuck on the roof for a couple weeks, before I finnaly rescued it) And i was happy enough to know the battery discoonected when it crashes, so hopefully there was no damage done by the rain. And yes after drying it and putting another battery in, its acted like normal, but it seems to me motors make a little noise, maybe there is a liitle corosion, or they just need to be lubbed, what can you recomend for this? Maybe WD-40 is the way to go?

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for cleaning is the best :)
