I always felt a sense of safety and relief when Angemon or his evolutions came on screen. Like when he defeated Devimon and sent baddies through that wonderful portal of his. Angewoman and Angemon inspire a lot of hope, especially when Tai and Matt allow themselves to be struck by their arrows. Angewoman was a sight Wizardmon should have been able to see. 🥺
Because he is like an adult. Like, imagine some children are lost in the woods or something and then there comes this good natured adult who helps them get back with a smile on his face and so full of kindness. Angemon really looks like a guy with a mask on his face. Like a superhero. And he is inspired by Saint Archangel Michael so yeah, his presence should invoke a feeling of safety.

I saw Adventure as a child when it came out. Patamon's mega evolution was the stuff of legend "If MagnaAngemon is so strong that can go 1v1 with megas, then imagine Seraphimon!" we would say back then.... My 20 years of disappointment in the handling of Seraphimon throughout the series has no words! *"We have Omegamon, so who cares!"*
They nerfed Seraphimon just for the sake of the story, coz if we will follow lore, that episode in frontiers will be the ending, coz serpahimon can just, boom, happily ever after ending right away. 😅

I used to have this Digimon magazine years ago that called Patamon a winged Pikachu. And the Discription the book called it was Patamon a Digital Pokemon that can fly. Than I didn't think much of that, but now I can see what it was getting at. Also I'd like to point out that Digimon is nothing like Pokemon.
Most digimon become human like in their perfect form....he became so in his adult form, whole 3 evolutions earlier and to boot, Angemon is most human like digimon. Almost as if he is a human wearing a hero costume. Also, Holy Angemon who was an evolution behing other digimon who were wrecked by Piedomon, managed to beat Piedomon with piedomon being unable to do anything to stop it. Same for Devimon.... Angemon, in his adult form was easily keeping up with Miotismon and could get a stalemate against Piedomon. He is just insanely strong.

Please add all of his armor-evolutions, even though some of them wasn't as pleasing as the other evolutions, like Pipismon and Manbomon.. Like really? REALLY? Patamon + Digimental of Light will become Manbomon??? When they said that crest of Hope and Light were special.. here I hope he got the more regal form.. Like, why the others got Valkyriemon and Quetzalmon but he 'only' became Manbomon, whatever special and rare Manbomon was, his form was... depressing.. 😅😅😅

One nifty behind the scenes fact I found out about Tokomon. It's design (specifically the huge jaws) was loosely inspired by the Fizzgig from 'The Dark Crystal'.
The Seraphim are only the highest-ranking angels in Christian theology and lore, if you look at Judeo lore the hierarchy of angels has 4 or 5 more choirs of angels with the highest being the Metatron. The Metatron is the only angel in its choir and is described as the only angel that can stand at the side of god. Also, while the Seraphim have their name also potentially reference their 7 wings, which they usually have wrapped about their form to restrain their power, the Metatron's name is derived from an old Hebrew word meaning Chronicler.
Seraphiel is after Metatron the secound highest, cause he not only is Metatrons Guardian, but he also is the leader of all Seraphims, even the leader of Michael who also is a Seraphim. Seraphiel is the biggest Archangel with the body of an eagle, beautiful angel Face, sparkly eyes and his element is fire cause he has huge love and passion for god. Michaelbis the leader of Archangel, but not the leader of Seraphim.
I know you said that it is the Jewish side of things, but that's just mysticism on their part. There are cherubim (they look like young men, not babies) and seraphim (which have 6 wings). All other references and lore about angels are not in the Bible, and are therefore, untrustworthy.

The Catholics would argue about how many could fit on the head of a pin (actual argument). There is a more important topic than that. That is, who runs your life- is it you or is it Jesus as depicted in His scriptures?

In order of hierarchy, the Archangel Micheal (Jesus Christ, his heavenly name), Seraphs, Cherubs, and the myriads of other angelic messengers. As for the wings, Seraphs have 6, not 7, stated at Isaiah 6:2 - “Seraphs were standing above him; each had six wings. Each covered his face with two and covered his feet with two, and each of them would fly about with two.”

So when he calls Seraphimon an Ultimate level digimon it’s the same thing as Mega. We just got that in our dubbed versions. Like how he called Boom Bubble Air shot. Original names and titles. Ya dig?
In the early episode of Digimon Adventure, Agumon and the others except Patamon can evolve so many times to become adult level. And after waiting for so long, finally patamon evolve become Angemon then sacrifice himself so Devimon can be defeated. And then we waiting again the digitama hatch and waiting again to see Angemon. So, when Agumon and the others except Patamon can evolve to perfect level for many times, we have to waiting for 3 last episode to see Holyangemon. Why Patamon so different with the others
Also Holy Angemon. Michael also has the title of Saint (holy) as Saint Archangel. There was slso a story when he sent a rebelling angel straight to hell ("Heavens Gate" move) and he is also regarded as a swordsman and the leader of angels, a friend of himans hence his kind (nature). Really strongly inspired.

In the early episode of Digimon Adventure, Agumon and the others except Patamon can evolve so many times to become adult level. And after waiting for so long, finally patamon evolve become Angemon then sacrifice himself so Devimon can be defeated. And then we waiting again the digitama hatch and waiting again to see Angemon. So, when Agumon and the others except Patamon can evolve to perfect level for many times, we have to waiting for 3 last episode to see Holyangemon. Why Patamon so different with the others
Fun Fact: Because of Angemons high rank as Seraphimom and leader of all holy type digimon, he is synonymous to the Arch Angel Micheal.
Also Holy Angemon. Michael also has the title of Saint (holy) as Saint Archangel. There was slso a story when he sent a rebelling angel straight to hell ("Heavens Gate" move) and he is also regarded as a swordsman and the leader of angels, a friend of himans hence his kind (nature). Really strongly inspired.
