I still find it strange that they chose to make Gatomon a Champion, she definitely looks like a Rookie Digimon or something in between Rookie and Champion. When I learned Angewoman was an Ultimate and Angemon was a Champion with about the same power I was like wtf? MagnaAngemon/Zephyrmon or whatever...does that make MagnaAngemon weak or Zephyrmon ultra powerful? Confusing. I found Greymon and Garurumon overpowered as well versus other notable characters like Kabuterimon.
Nefertimon or whatever was originally her actual digivolution and pegasusmon was patamon's, they made them angemon and angewoman for western audiences. It makes sense, because those armor evolutions actually look like the previous forms.

Kinda looks like a female equivalent of MagnaAngemon that we never got due to Tailmon's evo line being set up really oddly (which in turn is reminiscent of how the original digimon V-pets had an odd mish-mash of seemingly incompatible species as evo lines)
holy beings have never really been 'normal' what we see as normal are the angels and unconsciously associate the human look to all celestial beings since most religions state that man was created in god's image. you can check most major religions and it says the same thing. either man is the child of gods (meaning we look like them through direct genetic connection) or we are made in their image. it is probably why they are so varied compared to most other digimon

This morning I woke up with the random thought about how weird it is that Tailmon/Gatomon's* digivolution line goes from a puppy to a gloved cat to an angel, then rolled over and fell back asleep. A couple hours later I had this video recommended to me despite not vocalizing this thought and having not actually thought about Digimon at all in several months prior to today (so it's not like I've been on a Digimon video binge). Either this is a VERY weird coincidence or Google is apparently reading my mind now. * I grew up with the dub and my half-asleep brain defaulted to that.
Unlike Pokémon, Digimon really hard to understand and you will get unexpected evolve to any figure based on their mood and surrounding. Yet, both are my fav MonMon world lol. Especially Angewoman!
The most incredible thing about this is that both ophanimon and lilithmon have the power to destroy universes, an exact figure can be between 10 and 1000.
Personality plays the largest role, sometimes completely changing the evolution, the actual creatures are just manifestations of a virtual web of code, evolutions are based on how their personalities have changed since the last evolution, what they need to become in order to improve emotionally and physically and even what they had for breakfast.

See without the Holy Ring, Tailmon is considered a child level and if you look at the designs, Nefertimon seems more like the "natural evolution" for Tailmon. And if I'm gonna be honest, Nefertimon does transition better into Angewomon than the little kitty turning into a scantily dressed angel. So my theory is that in the past, before the "modern era" of the digital world, Tailmon was originally a child level digimon, with Nefertimon being the Adult stage that drew out the Holy species and Virus Busters DNA within its data that allowed it to evolve into Angewomon. Now onto Plotmon, this is where it gets interesting. Because Plotmon is described as an experimental digimon, which leads me to believe it is a more "recent" digimon. But what could the original experiment behind the creation of this digimon have been focused on? Simple, the Holy Ring itself. It is said that Plotmon is stronger than most child level digimon because of the Holy Ring it carries. So come the experiments with the Holy Ring, Plotmon could have evolved into a new variant of Tailmon, the one we see carrying the Holy Ring on its tail, which boosted it to an adult level and (as part of my theory) brought out the Virus Busters and Holy species data without the need for Nefertimon to do so, and provided a faster route to Angewomon. And by extension, provided an alternate route to LadyDevimon. This is all entirely my own headcanon, but if I had to make sense out of Tailmon being able to Armor evolve despite being an adult level, this to me makes the most sense. Especially since Tailmon kinda fits in better with the other child level digimon like V-mon, Patamon, Agumon, Hawkmon and so on. Really wish they'd show Plotmon more because, come on, that little thing is so adorably precious ya just wanna cuddle with it for hours.
You don't have to "make sense" out of it because it's a cartoon. The story of what happened is what the creators/authors say it is. You made a nice story, but there's bo "theories" of what happened because nothing actually happened.

Cool detail you may not have noticed about Ophanimon: In her card art which reveals her face, it looks nearly identical to Lilithmon's face. _They even have the same mole under their left eye!_ I thought that was a really neat detail for the artist to pay attention to when drawing maskless Ophanimon.
Some people don't seem to understand while some digimon might have a common evolution line, digimon evolution isn't linear or have strict theming for evolution. For example pokemon where a fox might always stay a fox vs digimon where a fox could branch off into a fox, a wolf, demon or Numamon if you're me :(

Holydramon feels wrong to me. Why would the beautiful Angewomom evolve to that? It doesn't even make sense! I prefer Ophanimon. She's so pretty and reminds me of the greek goddess Athena. Also, she's a cute couple with Seraphimon.
There are two digitations missing... - Ophanimon Falldown Mode - Odinemon Why are they missing? In Digimon Tri Chapter 6, they occur and play a big role. You can't just leave them out...
Whenever people bring up Tailmon they always bring up how she can stay in her adult level because of her self discipline, but is this also an explanation for other non-chosen children Digimons? Leomon, Orgemon, Devimon, and even higher levels like Etemon, Vamdemon, Mugendramon, etc. How do they sustain their levels?
The way I see it is even chosen Digimon can digivolve naturally and permanently, but it's the digivices that force them to temporarily digivolve to higher levels Tailmon being much older than the rest (iirc) has naturally reached that level and thus is able to just stay that way like the other adult digimon we see on the wild

At first when I was only knowledgeable of the English dub I hated this guys vids so much. Kept giving him trash over not calling omnimon omnimon, only to find it was the Japanese name he was using. Now that iv learnt of the Japanese dub and slowly watching it i can understand the name difrences. Also I believe its called commandomon(basicly a black augomon that is dressed like a solider) Im a airsofter and seeing that theirs digimon out their iv not really herd of that reflect my love of digimon and airsoft is cool
Keep in mind that no digimon species has a set route, just maybe some that it’s associated with (like this vid for instance). Angemon CAN become Angewomon in some pieces of Digimon media. Check out wikimon if you wanna see how fun these branches can get!

@@ignacioperez5479 Yeah!! It varies betweens games and toys what Digimon can be what, but since everything is canon and fair game, we’re just to assume Digimon have a lot of options. I think people forget Digimon started out as a Tamagotchi spinoff, so all these branches orignated from how you raised your Digimon. Anywhere from virus variants of vaccine digimon to them evolving into poop machines and space aliens are all within the range of these guys.

I don't recognise some of the scenes from the video I have basically watched all seasons/movies of digimon from the start of adventure to before xross wars (tried to watch xross, but couldnt do it), granted I haven't finished all of Tri yet, which I should get around too finishing it off. But I feel like some scenes wouldn't be related to Tri anyway. Like the scenes at 5:10, 6:23, 6:35, 10:29, are they from a side series or ova's or sth? Maybe they were in the normal series/movies just can't rmr it all since there was so much but if there's something I'm missing I would be glad to watch. I'm also guessing the scenes around 9 minute mark are related to tri?

In some media, Plotmon can evolve to Darcmon (angel) and then to Angewomon (archangel), making the evolution line more consistent.

Every time Angewomon and Ladydevimon are on screen in the show or games together, I need to close the bedroom door
Holydramon feels wrong to me. Why would the beautiful Angewomom evolve to that? It doesn't even make sense! I prefer Ophanimon. She's so pretty and reminds me of the greek goddess Athena. Also, she's a cute couple with Seraphimon.

The fact that tailmon is a champion level but looks and acts like a rookie level is nuts
Whenever people bring up Tailmon they always bring up how she can stay in her adult level because of her self discipline, but is this also an explanation for other non-chosen children Digimons?
Leomon, Orgemon, Devimon, and even higher levels like Etemon, Vamdemon, Mugendramon, etc. How do they sustain their levels?
The way I see it is even chosen Digimon can digivolve naturally and permanently, but it's the digivices that force them to temporarily digivolve to higher levels
Tailmon being much older than the rest (iirc) has naturally reached that level and thus is able to just stay that way like the other adult digimon we see on the wild

@@Matiasfv Omegamon is its own thing being a fusion. Gabumon is a feral to me, just a bipedal dinosaur that wears a wolf cloth. But yeah, I didn't like how metalgarururmon goes back to four feet after his antho parenthesis.

At first when I was only knowledgeable of the English dub I hated this guys vids so much. Kept giving him trash over not calling omnimon omnimon, only to find it was the Japanese name he was using. Now that iv learnt of the Japanese dub and slowly watching it i can understand the name difrences. Also I believe its called commandomon(basicly a black augomon that is dressed like a solider)

it makes more sense since at the beggining tailmon could evolve into holydramon or angewomon
Keep in mind that no digimon species has a set route, just maybe some that it’s associated with (like this vid for instance). Angemon CAN become Angewomon in some pieces of Digimon media. Check out wikimon if you wanna see how fun these branches can get!
@@CreepinCrinoid rigth. there is a main route wich is just easier to get (as an example, agumon, greymon, metal greymon, wargreymon) but also the original route (agumon, greymon virus, metalgreymon virus, blitsgreymon)
@@ignacioperez5479 Yeah!! It varies betweens games and toys what Digimon can be what, but since everything is canon and fair game, we’re just to assume Digimon have a lot of options. I think people forget Digimon started out as a Tamagotchi spinoff, so all these branches orignated from how you raised your Digimon. Anywhere from virus variants of vaccine digimon to them evolving into poop machines and space aliens are all within the range of these guys.

i'm upset that in digimon adventure tri they pick holydramon instead ofanimon, i mean how could you evolve from angel to be dragon... and she didn't even relate with seraphimon (Angemon - Angewomon, seraphimon - ofanimon that would be better)

Honestly, it makes more sense for her to be a dragon than an archangel since all of her forms are holy beasts with the EXCEPTION being angewomon.

I don't recognise some of the scenes from the video I have basically watched all seasons/movies of digimon from the start of adventure to before xross wars (tried to watch xross, but couldnt do it), granted I haven't finished all of Tri yet, which I should get around too finishing it off. But I feel like some scenes wouldn't be related to Tri anyway. Like the scenes at 5:10, 6:23, 6:35, 10:29, are they from a side series or ova's or sth? Maybe they were in the normal series/movies just can't rmr it all since there was so much but if there's something I'm missing I would be glad to watch. I'm also guessing the scenes around 9 minute mark are related to tri?
