He can't be in a team. He's too powerful. In the manga where he made his debut even his Aeroveedramon form took on the likes of Piedmon and Omegamon. The only way he'd work in a series is if the enemies and other team members are just as absurdly powerful.
This was a great video! I wish they gave X Vemon and Stingmon proper evolutions without the need of combining with each other. Specially Stingmon, he needs it! he is so cool on his own!
XV-mon has also evolved into AeroV-dramon, Magnamon, Wingdramon, Megadramon, MetalTyrannomon, and Holyangemon in different games like Digimon Story and Digimon World (not sure which explicit games but in those series). It's not perfectly fair, because none of those evolutions were explicitly meant for it.. (besides Magnamon but that's also a Digiegg) but it is a possibility.

I played Digimon World 3 in PS1, it was a satisfaction to be able to evolve into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode... The grind was real!
