Thank you so much! I was able to change my turn signal no problem at all and the tips about loosening with the screwdriver and the bulb only going in one way were so clutch!!! So greatly appreciated! Thanks for making this video!
Your video is awesome. Thank you for posting it. It saved me a lot of time figuring out exactly how to access the turn signal on our Santa fe. Now I have a new bulb installed thanks to you. They set it up in an awkward way to get access to it so you suggesting to remove the little sensor stack on the driver side was a great trick
The guy at the auto parts store used a 90 degree vice grip and broke the plastic piece where you put the screwdriver. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I get it out now?
Apparently there are some differences in the headlight housing for the 2016-2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. That is what I have learnt from the comments I am getting on this particular video.
I tried changing out my right side bulb and when i got it to come loose and pulled it out. The pulled out part detached from the bulb holder. I was really frustrated and don't know what to do other than go to the dealership.
Aah yes. The bulb just came apart. So the metal base of the bulb stayed stuck in the bulb holder and the glass part just came out ? If you have a pair of pliers at this point you can just grab the metal base of the bulb and pull it out of the bulb holder
Additional suggestion: if the flathead screwdriver isn't helping and you can, slide a pair of pliers under the frame so it's directly facing the bulb part. Then you can just grab it with the pliers and twist
@VirarAutomotive no, I meant that what you show in the video, is not where the turn signals are on a 2017 model. We used your video, took out the lights and stupidly realized the turn signals are on the inside of the lights! Your model is for the outside of the lights which the 2017 doesn't match. 😢

Please do you have a video on how to replace the turn signal light for Santa Fe 2013 side mirror?
The side mirror turn signal light is an LED light and is unfortunately not replaceable.

Any suggestions if my bulb holder knob broke? The tip snapped and now I can't twist it 😢
Needs replacement :(

Sorry to hear that :(
How do you change on a 2017 Santa Fe? It doesn't have those connections

When my headlight on, front signal lights not working but works when headlights off.
Any idea of what might be the problem??
Not sure. Sorry :( Sounds like a wiring issue. Best to get it checked by a mechanic.
Additional suggestion: if the flathead screwdriver isn't helping and you can, slide a pair of pliers under the frame so it's directly facing the bulb part. Then you can just grab it with the pliers and twist
Glad to hear that you found the video helpful!
This was very helpful I changed mine in less than 5 minutes! #I'mjustagirl lol 😂
Thank you! Glad you found it useful! More power to you!
Didn't work with my 2013
Hmm. That is odd. This video was made on a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited
Does everyone agree that he's not even replacing the turn signal bulbs?? Lmao😅😂
Yeah my bulbs were working fine, I just made the video to show the entire process 🙂. Hope it helps!

This video is completely wrong for 2018 Sante Fe Sport. Ignore everything mentioned.
