I have been depressed for a long time, but after taking shrooms few months ago, l feel much happier and highly motivated and my ADHD gone , lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. I decided to buy an ounce for backup, but haven’t yet felt the need to take any more since then.

All my life I've felt like the fish who's being commanded to climb the tree. I think it's anxiety. Whenever there's a task with any important implications I have this awful discomfort and I hesitate to no end. I really hope mushrooms can do something for me. I'm so tired of pretending to be well. Even if I accomplish something today, tomorrow is going to be the same uphill battle.

This is beautiful. I took this exact dose in 2021, 4.5g of psilocybin and I had this exact experience... the feeling that nothing can hurt me and physical existence is just a moment in eternity. I felt connected to other beings on earth, knowing that they are connected to me even though we don't really know each other "here". I also came back from the experience willing to enjoy earthly pleasures because we need a physical body to enjoy them.... I felt I am several people at the same time, I also felt the sense of never ever being alone and can relate to the feeling if willing to take other people's pain away but not being able to... the only way is by advocating for psychedelics. I am ready for another heroic dose, I also got some amanita muscaria but haven't tried it yet, waiting for the right moment. Thanks for this, it's great to know that more people are getting "IT"!

This is an encouraging story, thank you. Everything you mentioned is a primary source of the fear and terror that fuels my existential OCD - ironically triggered by a horrible trip on way too powerful pot brownies many years ago. I have a tremendous amount of fear around psychedelics despite knowing their potential and feeling stuck and out of options regarding anything else.

"I had a hard time feeling like I belonged anywhere and I just felt awfully alone", I've only watched the very beginning of your video and I couldn't stopped crying. I am hoping psilocybin mushrooms will help me too. I am also feeling very anxious, and have been suffering from "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" / CPTSD for many years. Chronic stress and childhood traumas are the root cause, definitely.
So far, mild/ high doses didn't do much, except for this "peaceful feeling" you described, I will try again with higher doses. Your testimony is boosting me!

When I went to a weekend workshop with Lynne Roberts for Shamanic Reiki, that was what I got too. Just have fun. Don't be so serious. Don't allow yourself to get stuck in the muck of despair. I try to stay connected to my inner child, but it is hard not to get sucked into the seriousness of life or how we humans view life so seriously. Life isn't meant to be taken seriously. It is literally about living and staying open and curious. I still struggle though even though I know that.

Amazing Story Chanel and I can imagine this wasn't easy to talk about. I too was tossed around as a kid, in pretty much every way one can imagine. Spent 25 years drinking, doing drugs and living in anger and depression. I was on anti depressants and 2 sleep meds for years. I spent a year and half doing 2.5-4 grams of dried cubensis mushrooms every 3rd day. I would meditate, exercise, listen to music, play with my dogs, pet my cat and reflect. I would spend hours crying about everything, asking what I did to deserve all this and doing my best to forgive everyone including myself which was wonderful. I still struggle here and there but I don't take any meds. I sleep really well. I'm learning how to move forward in a new way. Leaving my old self behind is very difficult but it seems to get easier every day. Taking large doses every few days is NOT what I recommend! That's just what I felt I needed to do as I had a lot of trauma to sort out. Also, I've been doing mushrooms since I was 15 so I know how to handle feeling when they come up without freaking out. I'm not even saying mushrooms are for everyone but I know how much they love us and want to help. They won't do what you want them to do but they will do what you NEED them to do. One has to give up all expectations of what a trip should looks like. Gotta lean into what comes up and go with the flow...

You smoke meth every day and somehow you think mushrooms are the things that are going to burn me out? okay...People drink every day, smoke meth, do coke, smoke week, take pills yet we think tripping once or twice a week is what a crazy person does. I’ve been microdosing since October and what you said about not jumping into fight or flight when phone rings etc is what I’ve experienced as part of my progress with the mushrooms. Or when my 24 year old gets in her anxiety stuff I used to get triggered and react myself , take it personally, and now I can say oh she’s not feeling good, and just be patient and help instead of hinder. She is also MD ing and I’m hoping she will do a guided large dose (and me too). Thanks for sharing your experience!

This is really helpful. I have OCD, I struggle with a benzodiazepine dependency not for physical reasons but because of tremendous fear, and have constant doubt and a terror of death ironically triggered by something a powerful, advanced healer said to me in a state of oblivion about how much her words (she's an atrocious verbal communicator) would traumatize me. Everything I've done has failed to truly uproot the deep fear that I live with every day and that controls my life like a prison. I really hope this works; I don't know what else to do anymore, after 17 fucking years of permanently being in crisis and yeah, my poor adrenals must be exhausted.

I saw myself in your descriptions, and I think just watching this I was transported back to those moments and epiphanies. I was told once that after something like this, we now have a red chord linking us to that knowledge, to that essence and love we "discovered". Most people take too much when microdosing. If it's giving you anxiety then you're likely too high for a microdose but not high enough for an actual trip. When I microdosed I used only 50 mg. You need a very precise scale that can measure that small of an amount. Measuring with a spoon can vary greatly. You can gradually try more than 50 mg, but more than 150mg isn't really a microdose anymore and it's not necessary. I had no side effects from the 50mg but I started noticing the beauty in the world. And even after I stopped that beauty is still there. However. This didn't fully cure my depression, maybe if I did it longer. I tried maybe a few months. it would depend on the neurotransmitter that your are actually lacking making you depressed as well. I started taking amino acids and they were life changing as well. Tryptophan, dlpa. And gaba all were very beneficial for me. Trudy scott has a great website about the amino acids. I'm still very glad i used the mushrooms though as it opens your awareness so you can view the world differently. Healing mental health issues is multi-faceted, so I always recommend more than one thing. Learning somatic experiencing and eft/tapping also was life changing. Both are fantastic do it yourself trauma healing tools

I love how u went straight for a hard dose at 2g hahaha man.. i was pacing back and forth on 1 gram i was having a panic attack it was horrible.. it was my first time taking it alone, id had 1 gram and 3 grams before that with a friend and man we were laughing so hard i could barely breathe cause i kept coming up with the most random thoughts, i was a "bog slug" just laying out in the swamp in the mud n the magic mushroom man was walking around doing this goofy hillbilly laugh that kept coming out of me that id never done before lol "did you know... A pelican.. is a realbird" i remember thinking that was the funniest thing to say cause realbird was said like it was some sort of species 😂 you took it outside in the garden? man you are crazy.. you dont have bull ants and jack jumpers n stuff? I took 3 grams in a rainforest with a few friends camping a year or so ago and had leaches crawling all over me it was so hectic i was loving life till that moment, they were coming at me cause i was playing music on my bluetooth speaker n being loud talking to my friends.. not a good time.. ive taken a gram and went to a rave, freaked out on the way there it was really hard to go in but i was good once i got in for about an hour then i was cooked n had to sit down, i once tried to take 10 grams with lemon and couldnt get it all in me because it was making me want to vomit andi didnt want to throw up what i had and waste it.. got about 5 grams in and then sat at the kitchen table head in hand nautious af for hours then went to bed, couldnt sleep all night, by the time the morning came i felt the most euphoric ive ever felt i was singing and all it was amazing lol.. anyway.. i took just 10mg last week to try help me with my intense anxiety and depression and panic that ive got atm from quitting smoking and all it really did was make me feel like i was going to be stuck with an eternal need to yawn which i wasnt a fan of, i feel like every time i take mushrooms im like nah thats it im done with this stuff its no good but then i end up so desperate with my mental health that i want to hive it another chance because i wont take man made drugs cause im a naturalist probaly outof fear.. anyway i quit weed 6 months ago and tobacco 2 weeks ago, i got alopecia in my beard after i quit the weed because of the withdrawals from that plus the anxiety from smoking tobacco on its own.. ive now lost most of my beard at this point and havnt been able to leave the house for over a year, long story but i quit smoking weed and tobacco 5 years ago and went through major depressive disorder and anxiety and was bed ridden and like wailing for 9 months and ended up having to go back to just weed alone and then maybe 6 months later i quit that and was fine from memory, had 2 years of a social butterfly stage loving life going to festivals and bush doofs by myself which is crazy for me because i was addicted to amoking sinse 14 and could ever leave the house from like 21 years old and then tried to quit at 26 and thats when i went through hell the first time and decided i no longer wanted to buy land and move away from society even tho id already collected like every fruit tree in pots ready for when i did and now till this day ive got allthese exotic fruits in pots and its so overwhelming watering them everyday and feeding and weeding them and they all need up potting now but i have no room for them because i planned on having them all planted on some property by now and now that im going through depression again ive got my mum keeping everything alive cause im stuck in bed with intense panic and anxiety again because silly me got addicted again a bit over a year ago because i somehow forgot how bad addiction and quitting was, so now here i am, on youtube, with a gram in 4 capsules in front of me trying to figure out how much i need to take to hopefully stop me waking up feeling like im gonna have a heart attack from panicking about all these worries flying through my brain that i cant block out and hopefully help my mood in general so i can atleast get out of my bed ridden state and im here watching your video which i will now restart and watch all the way through but man.. i dunno if i ahould take quarter gram or whoke gram or make up some more n go for a big dose but i think condlsidering how much i felt the 10mg dose last week im not so sure if i should even take the whole 1 gram cause it hit me hard and these shrooms are a coouple years old now, i thought they would have lost potency but apparently not lol, same time i dont wanna take not enough again and waste my time in confused, life sucks.. i feel like i can feel the yawns comong on already and i havent even ingested any, maybe it got into my system while making the capsules.. yea.. i think it has lol

Not true, you don't know what strength they were since they were wild foraged. Alot of them contain less than 1 percent of active compounds. If you try something like Psilocybin Natalensis, or Penis Envy, the concentration can be over 2 percent. It depends upon genetics and growing conditions. Also, whether it was fresh or dried.

My question for you is this: were you taking antidepressants when you had your journey? I currently take 10mg of Lexapro for anxiety and the woman who is going to facilitate my journey said she is concerned that I won't feel the effects as much because of the antidepressant. @@chaneldays yea definitely a fun time when your with a close friend 😂 I took .25 last night about an hour before bed hoping it would help with my hectic morning anxiety but i still have the panic feeling just not so much the thoughts that usually come with it, might try 5g again earlier in the day in a week or somethin and lay in bed n see how that goes I dunno, Ive taken them alot of times but it's been a while n I do get scared as there is no long term studies out there or really any intensive studies at all it's scary when U find out everything that's known about them is just here say and personal experience

I did not have caffeine for around 10 years
I now have one a month as I find absolute restriction stresses me out

@@chaneldays smart, ive tried to detox for over a year, but so depressed due to injuries n cant work out so I always relapse. And damn, its like the devils juice, so toxic for your health. Drink for few days n binge eat n then lay in fetus position for 2 weeks until the adrenals stabalize haha - repeat

Sunburn is definitely a thing 😂 a study on people wearing sunscreen every day regardless of weather etc vs those told to wear it when they thought they needed it over 4 years showed that 90 peecent of skin aging is just from general uv exposure, hated learning that recently as an obsessed tanner, the oeople who wore sunscreen everydays skin had no signs of aging and actually looked less aged that when the study started, but then u cant just wear any sun screen u can only wear mineral sunscreen cause homosolate etc in chemical sunscreen are endocrine disruptors and kids wearing it has way less testosterone bla bla i have health anxiety.. dr greger from nutrition facts channel is your 1 stop shop for health science and health anxiety if your like me lol worth it tho, gotta be vegan n take ya b12 n avoid salt sugar and oil and limit sun exposure and eat ground flax seeds and seaweed for iodine and avoid all animal products etc

I don’t really care about how my skin ages. I haven’t worn sunscreen as an adult, I prefer the vitamin d and if it means wrinkles so be it
