    I love the way that your video shows how things can go wrong like dropping the screw inside the door that is the sort of thing that happens to me .

    My '99 A4 B5 Avant was very similar. Thank you for the show and tell. I did find lifting the loose panel up from the latch side and sliding the hinge side down over the lock pull rod worked for me and yes, the panel outer J-hooks were stubborn for me going back together also. Clever idea using the Tek screws for mounting the regulator! Cheers, your daughter should be proud of you.

    Those self tap screws still keeping tight? I may try to put new rivets in but if your way of doing it still works I think I’ll give it a try.

      I sold the car 2 months later to a friend, and he has had no issues with it.
